Great location right on the beach. The breakfast is a fantastic value for the price. There are good bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and the facilities well kept. We opted for a private villa with plunge pool which we enjoyed but I would maybe go for one of the swim up options next time.

Other guests at the resort made a habit of "claiming" beachfront chairs and nests the night before and keeping them all day long, even when they left the property for hours on end. It's a greedy mentality I don't understand. That's not the property's fault, but they have no system to prevent this bad behavior. Also, for the price I don't think it's that spectacular. We stayed at another resort further south that was a third of the price and really not so different.

We were so sad to leave this place. Being low season, the price point was awesome and was a great experience. The photos are actually what you get. The pool is chlorinated, there are many pools to choose from. Would highly recommend the bungalows as it’s away from the hotel area and much quieter. Continental breaky was great - cereals, toast, yoghurt, selection of fruits, juices, coffee.

The drain smelled in our room. Other people have commented on this in the review. You notice this after the door has been shut to the bathroom and opened after half an hour - maybe something the cleaners don’t pick up because of that. Unsure if the property is paying attention to this?

We had absolutely incredible stay at Lanta Sand Resort & Spa - I can’t praise this resort and staff enough. The food was amazing, staff extremely kind, caring and helpful, smiling all the time and it was clear to see that they truly care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We had a villa with plunge pool, everything was clean and perfect. Since it was our honeymoon, we had a cute bed decoration at our arrival, as well as a surprise from my husband during our stay, when he asked the hotel to prepare another room decoration that I found when we returned from a trip - our room was full of flowers - it was absolutely amazing! We also highly recommend a floating breakfast. :) Sending special greetings to Dach and Merry, both made our stay a little bit more special with their kindness and helpfulness. Overall, this hotel really goes beyond and above in their service and guest care and we can’t wait to be back next year! THE BEST STAY EVER 🫶

10/10 experience in Lanta Sand. The hotel is well taken care of in every aspect. Rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel surrounds are green and quiet. During the low season it's very calm and peaceful. Nice beach and good restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful in every situation. Always smiling and giving good tips what to do in Lanta. Special thanks to View at the beach bar to make the stay memorable for me. I truly enjoyed the stay, thank you! Everything just works at Lanta Sand and it has been the best hotel I have stayid my travels all-around Asia. It is clear that the management do great work to keep the hotel top tier.

Location and outdoor area were great. Staff, breakfast offer and lunch menus were very good. Some parts of the hotel are a bit dated. However if you want to stay here it’s highly recommend to look for a villa at the beach or even just a normal pool access room as those are really beautiful.

We had booked a family plunge pool room, which was kind of useless as the room was on the 1st floor. The balcony had been transformed into a small pool, which actually was not possible to use as the water was very cold. On top the pool had no space left around to sit so the whole balcony was just water and the room had no outside area apart from the pool itself. Family plunge pool room had the double bed on the opposite side of the room with no window. .

Hotel villas are very close the beach. low season prizes are very affordable compare to high season ones. Chill place if you want to relax in beach and like this. They will rent motorcycles aswell if you like to go around the island for example national park in south. If you stay in this island i think you want to have motorcycle for transport because market are "far" closest 600m so not really but the heat is too much if you are visiting them often. Up to you. rent prices are low so why not, if you dont wanna walk everyday. I really did like those villas because they had this nice outdoor shower and small pool to cool.

This is a fabulous resort in Koh Lanta. It's located right on a gorgeous beach. The swimming pools are very clean. The rooms in the hotel were very spacious and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was a great place to totally switch off and relax!!

The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced but very average. We chose to eat out all the time as a result. If you want to leave the resort you will need to hire a bike/car or use taxis to go places as there are very few restaurants/cafes/shops near the hotel within walking distance.

The beach front location, with the beach bar, pool and particularly the sun loungers and day beds is second to none. We spent the days lying on the loungers taking in the sun and sound of the waves just feet away. Apart from that the property is gorgeous. The room was huge and we had our own pool on the balcony! The staff were brilliant too, friendly and were always there to help. Also the breakfast was excellent too, lots of choice!

If pressed, the restaurant food in the evening was just average. We ate there because it’s low season so literally everywhere else on the beach is closed for food. I’d imagine it’s definitely worth a walk down the beach in high season though.

The staff was overly friendly. My personal highlight was the breakfast guy always dressing up in onesies. Beach is the backyard with loads of different venues to eat, drink or whatever

Breakfast is always the same routine, but just went next door on beach to have variety. Seaview "Couches" would always be reserved by guests with towel around 6:30/7:00am and then go breakfast or back to bed so no chances of getting on of these all day. Hotel should look after this as it‘s absolutely not fair

The villa was very nice size. Bathroom was huge. The plunge pool is quite fun. A little bit overdone with chemicals so we did not really use it. The outside shower is also super fun, very liberating :) Each villa is surrounded by bushes, plants and greenery, it gives nice seclusion. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Fruits, salads, hot dishes, continental options, egg station for freshly made eggs of any kind, waffle station, juices. Beach side is well kept. Plenty of sunbeds, though the ones in the first row that have the elastic nets are taken pretty quickly but there are many more. Sunny and shady area too. The beach itself is fantastic, easy access, fairly quickly deep water. No chance of snorkeling, nothing to see unfortunately. The entire Long Beach is perfect to walk along day or night. There are really nice and inexpensive restaurants directly on the beach. The main road is a short walk away. You can find huge fruit stand in about 15 min walk distance, right across of Mother Marché (grocery store). You can always catch a tuktuk on the main road. Hotel staff is really nice, it was a super choice to spend our vacation days here.
