Nestled along the pristine shores of Koh Lanta, Tropicana Lanta Hotel is a hidden gem that surpasses all expectations of a tropical paradise. From the moment I set foot on the property, I was captivated by the breathtaking beauty that surrounded me, creating an unforgettable retreat that seamlessly combines luxury, comfort, and natural splendor. Upon arrival, the warm and genuine hospitality of the staff immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. The check-in process was swift and accompanied by a refreshing welcome drink, giving a glimpse of the attentiveness that would define my entire experience. The accommodation at Tropicana Lanta is nothing short of exceptional. The elegantly appointed rooms exude a perfect blend of modernity and traditional Thai charm, offering a haven of comfort after a day of exploration. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the room, from the plush bedding to the thoughtfully designed decor that reflects the island's cultural richness.

The resort is quiet and comfortable. You can really relax here and forget about your buys lives! Great value for money and very convenient as you can rent a scooter or a car directly with the reception. Food is great and location is good. The people at the resort are very friendly and helpful. And the cherry on the cake is to take a shower under the stars in the outside bathroom!! Very recommended!!

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

It was amazing! Our best stay in Thailand. Beautiful boutique hotel located between Long Beach and Klong Khong, but near the hotel is the most amazing beach in Lanta. Everything was great, from our very clean and tidy bungalow among mango trees and the open air bathroom (awesome even in the rain), to wonderful people. Breakfast was included - rather basic, european style plus every day different thai style dish (eg pasta/rice with veggies). Scooters for rent (with helmet) for 250 thb/day, without the need for any deposit/leaving your passport. Room very big, bed comfortable. Near the hotel (8-10min walk) a 7/11 and a few reaaaally good restaurants - The angels restaurant (try the Khao Soi) and Jimmys chicken (delicious massaman curry for 100thb). We will definitely be back!

Things to improve (but nothing too annoying:)) - We had a problem with our deposit box, it didnt work quite well - we were given a spare key to the deposit box so it was okay. - The wifi in the room wasn’t very good so we were using our own. - Quite a lot of mosquitos in the room, but thats a thing about living in a beautiful garden - we bought a plug in mosquito repellent in 7/11 for 50 thb and it was fine. Plus, we had a friendly little lizard in our room so it was protecting us against the bugs :D

Lovey room with wonderful outdoor shower. Beautifully laid out grounds. Great pool with adequate numbers of sunbeds. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice.

While the grounds were beautifully kept, absence of lights at floor level made navigating grounds difficult at night. It would have been helpful to have lighting on our balcony sufficient to enable us to read after dark. This was the only hotel we encountered in a month in Thailand, saying Covid restrictions made automatic daily cleaning of our room not possible. Staff were also the least friendly in any hotel we have stayed at in Thailand- smiley faces would have been appreciated!

The bungalows are unique with the outside bathrooms and forest locations, you really feel like you are staying in nature on the beautiful island of Koh Lanta. You’d not feel like you’re off the main road. The property was clean, easy to find/access, staff helpful and pool and catering facilities good for a small resort. We got laundry done the same day by the staff which was really helpful and at a reasonable price. Breakfast was plenty and included good coffee with a bean coffee machine. Location of the hotel is 10 mins walk from relax beach and beautiful beach, relax beach is a lovely place for sunset, with little bars to get a drink and a seat outside. Restaurants in the area are small but all very good and has at least 4 in walking distance.

If I had to pick something it’d be that the rooms can seem slightly on the dark side which leave hiding places for mosquitoes. Take plenty spray with you!

I loved the place and staff. I arrived more than an hour early and they gave me the room. The bedroom was great, clean and comfy. Good breakfast 👍 The pool was very nice, clean. You can go walking to 3 small beaches, very close to the hotel.

The Staff !! from the moment I walked in I was greeted like a Long term customer. Friendly, very helpful, multi lingual, not a problem to assist me in any way. From hiring a Scooter to arranging a Tour to the Islands, everything was handled so well. That can be said for the all the staff. The Restaurant for Breakfast and Lunch, the cleaning staff as well. I don't know how many Hotels would have Reception staff come to the front and wave goodbye but it made me feel very special. I hope I can return to this beautiful property and spend more time.

Maybe a comfortable chair to watch TV could be added.

We just loved our stay in Tropicana Lanta! It was not just some ordinary hotel territory, it was real small tropical garden with huts hidden among all that greenery. Interior of the hut was soo nice and elegant! It is unforgettable feeling - to watch stars and moon while in shower. I would not say, the choice on breakfast was big, but it was absolutely delicious for our taste. We also used laundry room, detergent was provided by the hotel, price is regular and even really attractive having more laundry. The beach is couple of minutes, just across the road and down to the sea. I rated location with 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is harder to reach more active area by foot, you rather will need tuktuk service or bike. When we were leaving, the lady from reception went outside together with us, waited for us to load our luggages into the van and wished us a save journey. It was so warm, so real and personal... I'm still thinking, how such small things could go so deep into our heart... So yes, i truly recommend this beautiful place. And don't forget to look up when showering in the night! ;)

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at the resort. Everything is very well maintained and clean. The tropical garden and the pool are just amazing. We liked our room with the outdoor bathroom, there is even a gym, a yoga room, book exchange, scooter rental and laundry room!

Here are just a few things that could be improved: - breakfast was good but could get a little boring if staying longer - we were missing some blackout curtains to really get the room dark at night - some more space to hang clothes/ towels would be great

My stay in Tropicana was pleasant. The facilities are good, it's clean, breakfast has varieties, the staff is welcoming. In general I like open bathroom concept, it's especially nice during the day. However during night you need to count that all type of wildness can enter it and surprise you :D what I would highly suggest to hotel management is to add some net on the top which for example can manually be rolled over open part, for those people who prefer no surprises :) that would make it ideal.
