A hidden paradise with heart and soul :) One of the most magical parts of the hotel was the beautiful garden – it truly felt like stepping into a mini jungle, filled with birdsong, palm trees, and exotic plants. The swimming pool was impeccably maintained, always clean, with a perfectly pleasant water temperature. During our 29-day stay, we had the chance to stay in three different bungalows, each of which was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, and the chef was absolutely fantastic – every meal was delicious and freshly prepared. Cleanliness and hygiene were clearly a top priority: our room and the entire resort were cleaned and disinfected daily, which gave us great peace of mind. And the staff… simply incredible. It’s rare to meet such kind, humble, and genuinely helpful people. They were always attentive, anticipating our needs and doing everything they could to make our holiday even more special. We absolutely loved this place – we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and well-cared-for stay.

The cleanliness of the sea was unfortunately inconsistent – on some days it was crystal clear and beautiful, while on others it was too polluted to swim in. That said, we made the most of it on the clear days and enjoyed swimming a lot when conditions were good.

The property is located literally on the beach which is one of the best on the island. You can fall asleep to the sound of breaking waves. Beautiful natural scenery all around. The hotel restaurant serves a decent selection of both Thai and European dishes of good quality.

This is a really remote part of the island, farthest away from the airport and far from any action. No dining or shopping nearby. A bike or a car is required if you want to go places. Taxi is another option, but ride-hailing apps are basically non-functional in this area and you'll have to ask receptionist to order a ride for you, which will be expensive. The closest convenience store is about 5 minutes away on foot, but the choice there is very limited and it closes early, and the nearest 24-hour 7-Eleven is about 20 minutes of walking by a busy road with no sidewalks. The beach strip adjacent to the hotel is actually very small and because of seawalls you cannot comfortably walk farther up or down the beach unless the tide is very low.

We loved our stay. 1 week of paradise in this hotel. We usually stay in 5 star hotels and on first view we were hesitant about Lipa Lodge. After half a day we fell head over heels for this place, their amazing staff which truly felt like friends at the end of our stay. So kind, helpful, smiley, really good food and they provided complimentary breakfast for us. Great breakfast, traditional and also western breakfast. Perfect evenings watching the sunset from the beach or pool or restaurant or terrace or your own private beach. Words can’t describe how much we appreciated this place.

Nothing at all. Honestly we have stayed in more newer and much more expensive hotels during our trip in Thailand but we keep comparing them to Lipa Lodge. Lipa Lodge is hands down the best and most relaxing place we stayed during our 3 week trip in Thailand. We stayed in a beachfront room and listened to the waves all night long. However if your neighbours were noisy then you could hear them but this only happened one night during our 1 week stay and this isn’t the hotels fault.

Our view was absolutely amazing! We arrived during a few days of heavy heavy rain, but the sea view was still unreal, I can only imagine what it would look like in the sun! Staff were friendly and helpful, brought water to the room for us every day. There is also bikes & helmets to rent at the property which is brilliant as it’s quite far away from everything.

When we first arrived a water pipe had burst so we were unable to shower after 24 hours of travelling. I suppose this is one of them things that cannot be helped though. Also rented a bike and helmets, the 2x helmets cost us more than the bike which we found a bit strange. Apart from that we had a lovely stay :)

We absolutely loooooved all the team at the resort. They made our stay exceptional. Our room (beach front) was fantastic. It was a great size, comfortable and lots of function (dressing table, wardrobe, desk facing the ocean). The pool and beach were lovely - much nicer (deeper beach and completely clean) than others a short walk along. The resort sits within a little forest area too which is lovely and tranquil. We had a lovely massage by the ocean. The team put on a wonderful Christmas dinner (BBQ) and surprised us all with fireworks on the beach too - we paid a very reasonable price just for the meat/fish on the BBQ and everything else was complimentary - we were blown away. They also gave all guests a little xmas present. It was a magical stay at the resort. We hope we get to stay again soon!

Very nice and quiet place. Not far from some restaurants and grocery stores, but they also have their own restaurant. Our room was large, clean and had a large balcony with a stunning sea view. The room was pleasantly cool the whole time and the air conditioner was not audible at all. Good sunbathing area where you can swim either in the pool or the sea and they have beach towels in the rooms for that as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was lovely that they surprised us with a birthday cake and a song. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and the place is definitely worth a visit.

The location was wonderful, nice and quiet just a short drive off the main ring road. The staff were all very helpful and charming. The facilities were great but they really need a sunshade over the swimming pool as it was like a warm bath. Waking up to the ocean just outside our door was a lovely way to start the day. The food in the restaurant was always good and reasonably priced.

The room needed attention in a few areas such as sticking door lock, several leaks in the ceiling after a heavy rain shower. The television was problematic so we couldn't use it. Finally the water supply to the room was delivered via a pressure pump system which meant constantly fluctuating water pressure. Your shower was always going hot, cold, hot, cold which was a little frustrating at first.

Having been to the Chaweng side of the island before, we headed to Lipa Noi for more serenity and it was perfect! We loved our bungalows and the infinity pool leading to the calm sea.

Our bed in 108 was VERY hard which made a good nights sleep difficult. The only other critique would be the suggestion of ceiling fans and screens on the windows so we could enjoy the night without over heating.

Location was perfect, breakfast was basic but good, pool was excellent, staff were very helpful.

The property was a bit tired but was being redecorated etc while we were there. We ordered a beach front property thinking that we would walk straight from our room and onto the beach, however there is a 2m drop onto the beach reached by a small ladder.

The room s so much space and the hotel is on really lovely quiet beach. You can hear the sea all night while you sleep, if you really love to feel like so close to the beach our room really likes it right on the beach. Can be quite noisy and scary on the windy night

When we arrived, the fridge didn't work but they changed later. The pillows are big fat round not good quality, not so comfy. Not much choice of breakfast.
