This is a difficult hotel to rate as some aspects can be viewed both positively and negatively depending on your point of view. For example, it is located at the bottom of a very long narrow pot-holed track, off a dual carriage way, meaning that it isn't somewhere from which you can comfortably reach by foot. That said, as it is in the middle of nowhere, it is really quiet and serene (hence the name) and the only noise you hear is from the frogs in the lake rather than being kept awake by loud tourists and road traffic as it often the case in Patong. There is a decent size pool and the views over the lake are lovely so if you are looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, this would be a great choice.

When we arrived there was no restaurant as it was one of those buildings on wooden stilts and had recently collapsed into the lake! I imagine it would have been a lovely place to eat breakfast before that however. The rooms are clean, spacious, well equipped (with coffee making facilities and a fridge) although they are a little old and tired. That said, the shower pressure was excellent and the beds are really comfortable.

Everything. Best place I found during my last 2 months of travelling Bali and Phuket. Rooms are huge and very clean. It's the comfiest bed I ever had in Thailand. Very good air-con and fan. My standard room had lake view too. Solo travellers are also never feeling lonely as there is a very friendly duck living on property who always seeks company and a cat also😅 Feels like a soul retreat as in middle of beautiful nature, quiet on the lake. But not far away from everything you need.

Need to walk a bit to get to shops but I see it as a positive as keeps fit and the neighbourhood is very friendly and safe even at night. Can also rent a scooter. The restaurant on property is very expensive and only Italian options on the menu. If you are on a health trip or here for training then there is not much you can eat but you find lots of Thai street food and few restaurants and bars down the road or can order delivery.

We had such a lovely stay, the staff were extremely helpful and the food at the restaurant was amazing. I’ve deducted a point for the restaurant closing at 4pm. We would have eaten here regularly if it was open in the evening for dinner. The room is incredibly spacious and the bathroom is of good condition. I have deducted another point because our bed was extremely firm, however the staff provided us mattress toppers to make this more comfortable. Overall we had a really pleasant stay.

The name says it all! It is a very serene and quiet location – it is next to a picturesque little lake – and it is a resort (rather than simply a hotel) with enough facilities that you can happily spend all day here. The room was a good size, clean and modern with a great shower and my only regrets are that I didn’t check in earlier in the day to enjoy some pool time and that I didn’t stay longer. Although it is set back from the main road it is still possible to walk to the convenience store and some eateries. The hotel staff were all very friendly and courteous and when I returned after a late night the receptionist found me a safe parking space. Considering that it is still peak season I found the price very fair.

For privacy I would rather have a private balcony rather than a shared patio, but that was a minor complaint and not all of the rooms are like that.

Serenity is the right name for this place we had a river view bungalow with big balcony, very nice. The pool area is good. Garden nice and well kept. Service in reception fine. They had a pool jazz friday evening which we attended and was nice.

Cause this place is so out of everything and nothing in walking distance, they should offer some food in the evening also - not only breakfast and lunch it is not enough. I would rate this place better if the service and food offers were better :)

Very good location. Stunning view on the lake from the room and from the pool too which is amazing. Far from the traffic. It is the best spot if you're looking to relax a bit and enjoy nature. I'll definitely go back there if I come back to Thailand. Very clean and the staff were very kind and attentive to everything. 10/10 Definitely recommended.

The place is hidden away but once you arrive it will take your breath away!!! Staff were so good, chatting with them and getting to know them was a joy, travelling by myself can sometimes get a bit lonely but here I felt like I was important and cared for. Coming back next year for sure!!

The owner of this place is quite rude, I was not aware that I parked on his place even his own staff did not advise me. His answer was not a note or having some words with me. He just park his car in front of mine blocking the access. Anyway, he is just the owner.

Advertised as having a restaurant and lake activities yet no restaurant on site and it’s quiet far away from everything so had to get taxis to eat, and no lake activities available either so not much to do here other than the pool

Beautiful accommodation with wonderful views, breakfast was good, pool was amazing. Very friendly staff, we rented a motorbike from the hotel for very cheap which was the perfect way to get around to local places.
