Neenlawat is the perfect place to unwind after visiting Bangkok before you continue your journey around Thailand the pool area and bar and restaurant are perfect.the food at the restaurant is really good ,there are bicycles to use free of charge,and all of the staff are brilliant they can’t do enough for you.we stayed again on our return to Bangkok

There’s not really anything we didn’t like.the only thing I could suggest is to put a work surface next to the fridge so you can make your tea and coffee instead of on top of the fridge,and to have proper teacups

The house or small villa was nicely decorated. Like the 'open' ceiling in the bedrooms. Beautiful large bathroom. And we loved our 'own' pool with salt water. Had some fun with my family in the pool. :) Staff very friendly like most in Thailand. We only used the restaurant for lunch/dinner and breakfast. No other facilities used.

Was great to sleep here on our way to the airport. The beds were very hard, like most beds in Thailand. Maybe some of the tiles in the garden can be cleaned more, or maybe it was some tile glue. The showerhead in one of the bathrooms drops down easily. It therefore almost fell. But overall very happy with our stay and with the staff!

Staff were incredibly welcoming and offered to help with transfers. We had 3 rooms and each was incredibly clean and they accepted a request to have 4 pillows on each bed which was truly appreciated. The resort has a great on site restaurant by the pool , really reasonably priced. Obviously they take there reviews seriously as they have clearly explained what's now in there buy 2 get one free deal.

Didn't particularly enjoy the breakfast options at the onsite cafe at the front, was pretty average.The taxi prices offered were almost 3 times as much as grab. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from 711 and isn't much around the resort. Tiles in the bathroom are incredibly slippery.

Loved our stay here, extended an extra night as so nice. The rooms was spacious and looked like new. Extremely comfortable bed. The restaurant and pool area was always exceptionally clean. Nice size pool. Had a couple of meals and we're good quality And the coffee shop was very nice. The main thing was the staff....in all areas , reception,bar/restaurant and coffee shop All very friendly and helpful. The cleaning team always had a smile ... Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Nothing. A little out of town so better if you have a car but this isn't a complaint,we knew the location and it was exactly what we wanted. Maybe a few bikes could be made available to hire although I'm sure bolt and grab service the area too. We would also had loved it if there was a fitness room, even with some basic equipment but that is just a thing we enjoy but would not stop is from returning.

The property is in a quiet location next to the river. It is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant serves excellent food (including breakfast) and drinks. There is an efficient taxi service run by the hotel into the town, railway station, airport etc. We stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to relax after a busy few days in Bangkok. The hotel were able to recommend a local guide who arranged an excellent day trip for us (boat trip around the rivers of Surat Thani and then lunch at a water park at Ban nam rad where we were able to swim in shallow natural pools and try our kayak skills in the shallow river. We were lucky as we were there on a quiet day and had the pools almost to ourselves for a few hours). The guide had plenty of other suggestions for other trips in the area.

Very clean and large room, good facilities. It's very newly built! A nice pool and the hotel let us stay there during the day after we checked out, before our train. Easy to arrange transfers to the train station. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were happy to customise meals for a vegetarian diet at the restaurant. Lots of craft beers available at the bar.

A bit of a remote location, not much nearby so you are stuck eating at the resort restaurant unless you take a taxi into Surat Thani. WiFi didn't work well, so we had to cancel remote working while we stayed there.

My family of 4 stayed here for one night as a stopover for our trip to Elephant Hills and also we stopped on our way back from Koh Phangnan to get our flight to Bangkok the next morning. It exceeded our expectations for a stopover because we really weren't expecting a lot because the price was great. We stayed in the Riverside apartment which was really good, lovely view of the river, fantastic to hear the sounds of nature at night. Our boys loved that it had an upstairs bedroom and bathroom on both floors. Really clean, water in the fridge, mini bar, brilliant pool, lovely poolside bar with great food and drinks. Staff were so lovely and friendly too. We arranged a collection to and from the airport direct with the hotel which worked really well. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a stopover on the way to the islands or Bangkok. You wont be disappointed.

Neenlawat was set in a nice location and not too far from Surat Thani railway. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay overnight as we were catching the night train to Hua Hin. However, it was the perfect place to stop and unwind for the afternoon before taking our train journey. Despite us not staying overnight, staff were very accommodating and helpful with booking our taxi to the station. The room was perfect for our needs. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely and we enjoyed the cocktails also. I would come back to stay if visiting Surat Thani again, good stop off point for the station, islands and Khao Sok not too far away.

Nothing not to like, it was perfect for our needs. However, the rooms did feel very warm, even when the air con was on. I may have struggled if I'd had to sleep overnight with the heat. Great location, though, lovely and clean, and the pool was great.

Excellent bar, coffee shop, reception and pool. They have really made an effort here. Rooms were large and generally comfy. Air-conditioning was great in the bedroom, too hot to use other room as it only had a fan. We did sleep really well, however.

Bathroom an issue. Everything you used the shower, the room flooded as it did not slope towards the drain. Needed an update. Location too far out to walk to restaurants or bars. Really need transport to see the area.

I came to Surat Thani from phuket. I needed a place close to the trainstation to rest in. To get to this residence was suprisingly affordable and convenient. I took a bus from down town for 20baht and stopped at the railwaystation. After railwaystation I ordered a taxi using Crab-application. Taxi came fast and its a very reliable app for a tourist to use. It was 69baht to go to the residence safe and sound. I felt welcomed immediately when I came, checking in was very fast and I was pleaseantly surprised how I felt at the residence. I felt at peace and near the river I felt my soul at ease. Must be the nature feeling near the location. I was surprised the fact I got a whole small house for myself which has very nicely furnished, great wifi, just overall very cosy and beautiful. The staff was eager to help me when ever I needed help. Its true the location is more suitable for ppl with a car, but a stay for a day or two just to relax by the pool etc is possible here aswell. Closest 7-11 is near the trainstation, I suppose, but the hotel itself sells food too. The restaurant is open till 5pm but I think room service is open later on. But incase you want to order things to the residence crab-app has a market that does delivery to the residence. Crab app also has restaurants incase needed something. So you don’t have to leave anywhere if you just want to chill. I ended up taking another night at the residence, since enjoying it that much before traveling to my next location with a train.
