Located close to the airport (10-minute drive), the hotel offers a free shuttle service. A few hundred meters from the hotel in the center of Piarco town is KFC, fast foods and stores. Nice, very well maintained and very clean. Rooms well decorated, large bathroom, comfortable bed, AC and wifi very good. In room 2 bottles of water and two free drinks. Breakfast on the top third floor in a restaurant hall with a terrace. Restaurant (relatively expensive) also serves delicious Thai cuisine. Polite and helpful staff.

The hotel's website says “car rental” - this is not true. It would be a good idea to change this so as not to mislead visitors.

We liked being on the ground floor, the breakfast included was enjoyable, the staff were courteous, it was good to have a restaurant upstairs, we had a,large room with an extra bed which we found convenient for laying out our suitcases. There was everything we needed in the room and we enjoyed the spaciousness.

The bathroom door didn't close. The building interior looked a little shabby and our bedroom and ensuite bathroom in particular would have benefitted from some refurbishment.

Free airport shuttle, good breakfast, good beds, AC working well because it is hot there, clean.

I arrived in the middle of the night and we waited a while outside, because the receptionist was asleep. Taxi driver called and after about 10 min we managed to get in. My co-worker who arrived earlier that day was already sleeping in the room and he later told me that there was a party outside (maybe because of election day April 28th) until very late.

The room was nice, the property was secure, and there was free shuttle to and from the nearby POS airport. Great service and attention from the management and staff. There was a nice restaurant and bar atop the hotel (with indoor and outdoor seating) that specializes in Thai and Indian cuisine. Prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent.

There's not much in Piarco for travelers spending a night while passing through POS airport. There's a decent supermarket a few blocks south and some other businesses, but not really anything that catered to visitors. All of that is perfectly OK of course.

Everything was neat and tidy and exceptionally clean. The staff was always courteous and went beyond adequate to superb. Sherry is incredible and that's not to say that others were not because in reality everyone I interacted with in my lengthy stay were employees I would love to hire and/or work alongside. Service oriented!

Honestly there is not one thing that I can complain about.

The people were lovely and the hotel restaurant was absolutely spectacular (and affordable! Ended at 16€ for 1 person for plenty of delicious Indian food). It's also very close to the airport. The room has netflix and all those things and an AC.

The WiFi barely worked. My room was near the lift and it was very noisy up to midnight because of other guests arriving and talking loudly in the hallway. Also I had to leave for my flight at 8 and breakfast was officially at 7:30, I ended up wolfing down the food I finally got at 7:57 - normally no problem to start the day 20 min later, I doubt people usually eat that early. But since they were aware of me having to be finished by 8, it was a bit unfortunate. Worked out in the end though :-)

if you arrive at Trinidad at very late night, this is the right hotel to stay. it’s about 6km to the airport and they provide free shuttle for coming & going to the airport. Although the hotel's facilities are very basic and expensive, its restaurant is very good. the price is reasonable, and the food is delicious, especially the Thai food. all members of staff were very nice and friendly. very clean room.

The value of money is quite low, and the facilities are basic. The lighting in the room and bathroom were dim. Things that should be there like hair dryer and iron are not there. We had to ask for the hairdryer the next morning.

Had the pleasure of staying at Grand Diamond Hotel during my visit to Trinidad. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the friendly staff providing all the necessary information about the hotel amenities and services. The lobby was beautifully decorated, creating a pleasant ambiance. Upon entering my room, I was delighted to find it clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The comfortable bed and plush pillows ensured a good night's sleep, and the soundproof windows kept any outside noise at bay. The room also had modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and free water and soda, which added to the convenience of my stay.The hotel's facilities were top-notch as well.The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day.One of the highlights of my experience was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff

The Chai Thai restaurant on the top floor does incredible food - well worth a visit even if you're not staying here. The service was great, and they do a wide range of drinks. The hotel itself is basic, but clean and functional. Comfy bed, hot shower and plenty of storage space. The staff were very accommodating, and the free shuttle to/from the airport (only a few minutes away) was appreciated.

There wasn't much choice for breakfast, but it was ok quality, and included in the price.

The room was small and basic, but very clean. There have been visible upgrades made to the room and bathroom to update them. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our flight was late and we arrived around 9:30 pm. They kept the kitchen going and made us a wonderful dinner. The hotel arranged for a driver to take us from the airport to the hotel. He was absolutely great and we hired him to take us around the next day. The restaurant on site is Thai/Northern Indian and is excellent. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling or living in Trinidad.

The room was very small with a tiny window. Breakfast was a set menu; Scrambled eggs, toast and sausage. We didn’t have any input on what we would like, or how our eggs were cooked.
