We paid to have breakfast included and the buffet was delicious. Not being from Trinidad, it was so nice to be able to try 2-3 (new to me) traditional dishes each morning without having to search them our elsewhere. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job. We had a problem with our toilet and they were prompt to fix it and provide complimentary wine and chocolate for the inconvenience.

We had paid for an ocean view and the window was very dirty, so we did not get to enjoy that view. There is also nightly entertaining on the waterfront until 10-11PM, which made it hard to sleep with the noise for those that go to bed early and rise early. Thankfully, we were able to move our room to the city side for the weekend to be able to sleep better. The staff was accommodating for this request.

Everything at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad is exceptionally good. And I knew that before I went as I have stayed there before, but it was great to share that with my friend who came over from England. She kept remarking on how wonderful the staff are and that is true. Everything is wonderful. The one thing I was so looking forward to was the amazing breakfasts. Fantastic.

My only complaint was that I was sure I had paid for the breakfasts in advance but I hadn't. If I had they would have cost $16 US per day. Instead I paid $40 a day. I have to say this felt extreme and unreasonable.

Close to downtown and areas that I wanted to visit. Loved the view of the ocean. It was clean and easy to get to.

I had a little issue with the buffet breakfast, did not seem to be organized as far as the seating arrangement. I was seated at a table outside , I I went to get my food and when I got back and sat down one of the guys at the front desk came and told me that I had to move because they were going to seat someone else there and I told him that I was not moving because I was there first. I got to stay at the table but I thought it was unprofessional of him.

Staff were fantastic.

It was my birthday on our last night in POS and we were out for the day. My friend had advised the staff so that they could arrange a surprise for me to come back to and they hadn't. She spoke to them again and it was only when she went downstairs in the evening after our dinner that she had a cake and balloons provided. It wasn't a great experience considering I had shared my cake with staff as well.

Breakfast was always amazing, so much choice and the staff are SOOOO helpful, they go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Nothing is too much trouble and there is choice for everyone.

Make sure you book breakfast when booking the rooms, as if you have younger children and they don't eat a lot, it can be a little on the expensive side... BUT you get fed well. Also the bar's in the evening could do with opening a little later than they do.

FOOD!!!! OMG, FOOD WAS SO GOOD!!! There's plenty of food to choose from in the buffet. what i like most about breakfast is the omelette prepared in the sushi bar. This girl is the only one who smiles. I had a good time over there. I'd have a better time if I'd known about the pool and spa from the start.

To be honest, I can't point out anything that I did not like specifically. But I can say employees should smile. Another thing is that I didn't know there was a swimming pool. It was only at the end of my stay that I found out. I think that guests should be told, given that the pool is not located in the usual hotel area.

Breakfast looked good, but there ws 1 fly hovering around the fruit buffet. I'd recommend using some sort of cover or clear wrapping to keep flies from contacting the fruits.

1. The rooms was clean, relaxing and complete with accessories. 2. Due to my schedule, I did not eat this time. The food presentation however, looked especiallyappealing. 3. Staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. 4. I felt secure

The staff is very friendly and courteous. Hygiene and cleanliness are great and well managed. Respect for privacy is also recognized. Appreciate the additional facilities at the hotel during easter break such as the tourism agency, car rental etc.i used both :)

When it is highly crowded service at the restaurant is a little slow. At the SPA would recommend to place a sign for 'no children' to maintain the peaceful.environment

The associates make this hotel a better place. Ronald and Nyshia at the bar were amazing. Pewter was great. Juju the head sushi chef has such a great smile. Bartender “Raj” was awesome. My mother in law absolutely loves Tiffany at the spa. I can see why she only stays at Hyatt in Trinidad. It was my first time there and I can’t wait to come back.

My bill was mixed up with my inlaws, but Joseph was amazing at fixing it.

My room has a damp smell and the door is difficult to close, possibly because of the humidity. To combat the climate, maybe a dehumidifier or dehumidify mode on AC would help? Toilet could be cleaned more thoroughly, or change to those with more powerful flushing. First morning there was a queue for breakfast buffet, which was a first for me. More efficient service and maybe more self-serving counters would help? A used dish rack where customers can deposit used plates themselves on their way out may also help if there is space? Maybe this is not the norm here…The buffet area was also a bit small that customers bump into each other at times. Pastry meets standard, with interesting combinations: crumble on top of apple pastry, blueberry on top of coconut pastry etc. Coffee too weak for me. Fruits ripe and sweet.
