24hr front desk. We reached the hotel late night at 2am and were greeted by couple of young guys who took care to get us checked in asap though English was a barrier. Was traveling with family with twin teen boys. So booked 2 adjacent rooms for the 4 of us. We had an issue with the sim card we collected at the airport and the girl at the reception in the morning, who speaks English very well, went out of her way to try to resolve the problem for us. Overall, very happy with everyone there. Location is close to all the major sites of Ankara, and that helped, since we saw them and drove off to our next destination... Cappadocia

Building looks a bit worn down, but nothing to complain about. All good for the night we spent there

- the hotel is right on the motorway, so it is convenient to drive to the airport. It takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic - I was lucky to get a non smoking room in the backside of the motorway - it was possible to get the parking spot in front of the entrance to the hotel - the room and the bathroom was spacious. Especially the bathroom - its size was much larger than average you can get in Ankara

- my room was in the backside of the motorway, so I did not have traffic noise issue. However, the mosque in front of the hotel woke me up in the early morning... - bedside table was not perfectly clean - lighting in the bathroom could be better

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The staff, especially Bülent, were kind and very helpful. But also Enes and his colleagues at the reception desk and the restaurant were very kind and friendly. The cherry tomatoes during the breakfast were like from the Paradise! Also the coffee was tasty, no matter that it was an instant one. I stayed two days instead of one!:)

At the beginning I didn't like Turkish airlines, because they delayed my flight and made me stay in Ankara more. Now I can only say them Thanks, I had a great stay!:)

This place was really amazing... it is a high class establishment for very reasonable price. The staff are quite professional and kind. The rooms are comfortable... I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling too Ankara. is close to city center too. A Turkish bath next door was a great experience too.

Some people might be turned off by the poor neighborhood, but it is safe and the people are friendly. Business district and Ankara castle is nice walk. There is nuts stop nearby to go many places and you can always take a cab...

Satisfied in everything in the Lion city hotel especially the friendly receptionists, thank you Nur for fast responding and friendly talking, the management very organized and accurate in hotel, cleaning staff are perfect and makes everything clean in short time with all necessary replacement towels and soap.

The hotel was good for a cheap price, the receptionist (Yigithan) made a great effort to help us to collect the passports that we lost during our stay the day before in Cappadocia, I take advantage of the opportunity here to thank Yigithan for his kindness and invaluable assistance, he is a kind and helpful person and the hotel guests can trust and rely on him

Excellent place to stay in the city center. Clean and very comfortable. Rooms are big as well. Parking was free right infront of the hotel.

All of the staff were very nice and helpful. One of them spoke english. Everything was well kept.

Sadly there are a lot of stray dogs near the hotel. It would be beneficial if more of the staff could understand english.

An excellent hotel, with a very kind and professional staff, great Main Manager, always ready to help on any issue, definitely recommend, very convenient to get to, there is a taxi, a shop nearby, we also got there from the airport quite quickly. Everything is great!

It was a great stay, done working at ease. The staff were exceptionally nice to me, every single one of them, and did everything that takes to make my stay comfy. Especially Gul at reception at Semiha in the restaurant♡ the other staff members as well were super friendly, highly recommend!
