Location of the property was a short drive from Main Street of Göreme making it a haven from the hustle and bustle of normal touristic towns. Despite this, the location was prime to watch the sunset at Çavuşin Kalesi (castle) and sunrise balloons from the hotel. It also had a number of restaurants to choose from. Being somewhat of a seasoned traveler (30+ countries), staff at the hotel were some of the most accommodating I’ve ever encountered. They made arrangements for all of our shuttles and helped us plan our days (without ever letting us leave the property without cold waters free of charge). The staff went above and beyond. Magical mornings watching balloons taking off with the most attentive staff I’ve ever encountered.

It was an excellent breakfast on the rooftop with great view. Foods were tradition Turkey breakfast. The bedrooms were huge and very clean, and the location was great as there were many restaurants near by. The staff was super nice, offered us many activities options, even provided us tea and coffee at 3:30am in the morning. Had outstanding hospitality, and easy parking. Most Hotels in Goseme are run by family, not really big, but full of characters. Fairy Tell Suites is one of them, locates only minutes away from Main shopping area by car.

There is not hook for towel and clothes in bathroom.

I was a little disappointed when I realised we were 7km out of Goreme. We always stay in Goreme. The Fairy Tale Suites is in a little village just outside Goreme. Small, quiet, laid back and currently less touristy. What a magnificent change! We just loved it. Accommodation was on par with anything in Goreme. The locals, restaurant owners and shopkeepers are so friendly and warm. What sets The Fairy Tale Suites apart from the rest, is the excellent service and attention we got from the staff. The hospitality was exceptional. Tolga and his team made our stay fantastic. We didn’t want to leave. Breakfast was cooked in front of us and served with a smile. Even when we wanted to check out before breakfast was served, Tolga cooked breakfast for our group of 4. He arranges balloon flights and advised us of all hidden gem happenings in and around the little town. This will be our preferred place in the Goreme area in future.

So thrilled we found this place. Even before our arrival, we were in constant contact with the owner regarding our airport pickup and having our expectations set. Once we got here, the room was ready before the scheduled check in and since it was our honeymoon, they not only remembered but put lovely things in our room and gave us a gift as we departed 🥹 The team went above and beyond to be available, give us tips, help us with rides and so on. We didn’t take too much advantage because we were still sick on arrival; but it was so appreciated. Tolga even drove me to the ATM instead of letting me walk midday. The location is excellent; I LOVE that it wasn’t in the primary city of Goreme which has 400+ hotels. This little village is perfect for an authentic feel and exploring the nearby cave ruins (free!) I would not only recommend this place but I’d stay again.

The only note I’d make is that there is very little table space in the room that we were in; so most of our things had to be placed on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. Totally fine, but made the room a bit smaller as a result. Oh and you’re next to a mosque, so bring earplugs if you can’t handle noise!

We had the most wonderful stay here and are deeply grateful to the team for their warmth and care. From the moment we arrived, my daughtrr and I felt truly looked after. A special thanks to Tolga for thoughtfully arranging activities perfectly matched to our interests. The hospitality from Yasar, Tolga, and Youssouf was exceptional — they made us feel instantly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise views of the balloons from the hotel was pure magic, a memory we will cherish forever. Staying here felt like being welcomed into a family home, and the entire experience made our trip truly special. We look forward to returning soon.

Everything!!!, location is amazing, staff could not help enough, Breakfast was the best breakfast we have had In Turkey and we have been travelling in Turkey for 36 years. Tolga (Manager) could not have helped us enough from arranging car hire, quads excursion, transfers, information about the area and where to visit. Coffee on a morning when you get up early to watch the balloons which drop down and come very close to the hotel, you get the best views. Normally you do not get to see the owners of the hotel or they do not interact with the guests but the Owner was really nice and helpful. We have stayed in Cappadocia about 7 years ago and stayed in Goreme but this location was far superior. Everyone was so friendly, restaurants, shops and the dogs and cats ....we just loved our holiday here and couldn't recommend it enough.

Our stay at Cappadocia Fairytale Suite was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the place felt like home — warm, cozy, clean, and absolutely beautiful. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short distance from all the major attractions in Cappadocia, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The true magic, however, lies in the people who run this place. The owner, Gen, along with the amazing team — Tolga and Barış — went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. As public transportation in the area isn’t the most accessible, Gen took the time to patiently explain everything we could do during our stay. Their knowledge about the region was invaluable, and their recommendations truly enriched our experience.As a vegetarian, I was deeply touched by the care they took to ensure I had delicious and satisfying options for breakfast every day. They were always attentive and made sure I never felt left out. One night, they even surprised me with a freshly made hot Turkish cheese dish — something I absolutely loved!What really stood out was their thoughtful gesture before our early morning flight. Knowing we wouldn’t be able to have breakfast, they prepared a lovely tiffin for us, complete with sandwiches, chocolate cake, juice, and water. It was such a kind and personal touch that reflected their genuine care for their guests.And even after we left, their kindness didn’t stop — once we reached Germany, they checked in with us to make sure we arrived safely. That meant so much to us. It shows just how sincere, caring, and genuinely sweet the entire team is. They don’t just provide hospitality — they offer heartfelt human connection, which is rare and beautiful. The hotel itself is also a gem — it offers a true cave experience with all modern comforts. And the terrace view? Simply stunning! Watching the hot air balloons soar above the valley from the comfort of the hotel was a dream come true.Thank you team for all support.

It was an exceptional stay, made very memorable by the owner and his staff. Room-A beautiful room as shown in the pictures, very spacious and clean! Breakfast- Nice Turkish breakfast with unlimited coffee and tea! Hospitality-The owner, Jan, was there to welcome us personally despite a late check-in, special welcome with tea. I would like to specially mention the extra efforts taken by the staff to help us plan our tour and also coordinate the balloon ride/tour for us! Also, very good views of balloons at sunrise and a sunset point very close, which was shown to us by the staff!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Cappadocia. Everything was clean, beautiful, and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly — they assisted us with booking tours and helped with everything we needed throughout our stay. They even offered us complimentary coffee and upgraded our room to a better one, which was a lovely surprise. The location is perfect, very close to all the main attractions and easy to get around. We truly felt welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Cappadocia!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. Our room was great, just as pictured; there was no patio though. Which was not a deal breaker. The had a lovely terrace and outdoor seating area with a nice view. The location was great, maybe a 10 minute drive to Goreme balloon take off area. Staff was great, every single one of them made sure we were good every day. Staff's service was immaculate, we felt as if we were at home. They gave us recommendations on food, and places to visit for souvenirs. For dinner we took a taxi roundtrip was about $24, to a restaurant they recommended which was one of their friend's restaurant. The food was fresh, and very tasty. Breakfast was amazing, we were served a traditional Turkish breakfast everyday; the breakfast was freshly made. I bought the wrong converter with me to use for my phone charger, and Mustafa was kind enough to let us borrow his during our stay. We experienced an issue on morning while getting ready for air balloon experience; when we awoke around 3:30 am there was no lights/electricity. Which made it hard to get ready at that time because it was completely dark. It seemed to not be alarming so maybe this is normal during that time.
