The staff were incredibly helpful from the start and made us feel very comfortable asking for anything. The breakfast was excellent - mainly cheeses, breads, olives, cereals, etc. From the roof terrace, you can see all of the views with the best view in the area. Such a magical place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee.

As the rooms are cave suites, they get dusty and could perhaps do with a good vacuum and clean. Having said that, the rooms were very clean but there were some dusty parts in the corners and crevices. The location is near to a handful of small restaurants, so it is best to rent a car if you wish for more options.

The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and freshly cooked/prepared food. Good presentation and nicely served. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They provided us with local information and gave us coffee when we checked out at the end of our holiday and had to wait for a late coach trip home.

The hotel is at the top of a steep cobbled hill which is not really suitable for people with mobility issues/asthma/heart conditions. It would be a good idea to mention this in the description of the property. The area is fairly quiet so if you are looking for more choice for evening meals/bars etc Goreme may be a better choice.

Authentic cave hotel unlike others that call themselves 'cave' hotels but are free-standing Being located out if Goreme in Cavusin ended up being ideal for balloon viewing every morning and was a pleasant 30minute walk into town when we wanted to go. Plus it's more closely situated for Red/Rose Valley hikes Room was beautiful and had everything we needed, the breakfast was good too

Being a cave hotel the ventilation wasn't great so the bathroom could remain damp and smelled a bit but I suspect this is common to all cave hotels

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was quiet and peaceful, allowing us to relax and unwind during our trip. All staff were also incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Special mention ManagerBekir and our Ballon pilot Seko. We appreciated their attentiveness and willingness to assist us with anything we needed. Overall, our experience at the hotel was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to others. They do all Booking for you all adventure, Ballon ride and Airport shuttle in reasonable price.

Breakfast was decent, lady was lovely.

Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful; they helped us book taxis for airport transfer and for a customize tour and also booked a tour through a travel agent. We checked out at 4:40 am and they made an effort to prepare us breakfast before we leave. The room is very clean and spacious. It was great to experience living in a cave. The room temperature is always cold, glad there is a heater. I personally love the terrace in the rooftop, where you can get a great view of the hot air balloons in the morning. It is close to some tourist attractions, Rose Valley is a 28 minute hike, there is also an old historical village nearby and an area you can hike where you can see a good view of the sunset.

Hotel is located in Caushin which is 10 to 15 minutes drive to Goreme centre which is not a big deal as we've got a better view of the hot-air balloon and there were tourist spots that are walkable from the hotel. Just a note for the hotel, they can maybe add more information or brief guest regarding the touristy places nearby as we've got to know them ourselves.

An excellent experience. The rooms are very beautiful and spacious. The view from the hotel is exceptional (would recommend to wake up early to see the hot air balloons). The staff at the hotel is very accommodating. Very good breakfast options. They will arrange airport transfer for you, if you message them before hand. I found that very helpful. The hotel location is not in Goreme, but all the tour providers will pick you up from the hotel. I did not have any issue.

Phocas Cave Suites is a fantastic hotel with excellent staff and spacious rooms that offer all the amenities you could need. The cave-style rooms are beautifully designed, providing a unique and comfortable stay. The service was good,highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable experience in a stunning setting.

The breakfast at Phocas Cave Suites was disappointing with very limited options. Adding more variety would greatly improve the experience.

Everything. The rooms were really comfortable And clean with lovely decor. The breakfast was really lovely with freshly cooked produce served by a lovely lady in the kitchen. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly showing great hospitality throughout and was a highlight of our time in Cappadocia

Nothing - only room for improvement would be to provide some Sun loungers to make more use of the ample terrace spaces but this was not an issue more an observation.

This is a great location situated outside Goreme but with amazing views and had the balloons flight right over our head. We had a very dodgy rental car that started to fall apart and Cesar the gentleman on reception was amazing, calling the car rental company and then trying to fix the car himself, and the next day when the window wouldn’t wind up he helped us again and took our keys and arranged everything with the car rental company. He also called us when we didn’t know whether the balloons would fly so we didn’t miss the spectacle. He made our stay there great! thanks Cesar!

Breakfast was very European, not sure whether they would of cooked eggs for us or not, as the woman in the kitchen didn’t have any English, that said all were very friendly

The room is clean and spacious. It's comfortable and quiet. It's a good location to view the hot air balloons in the morning. Breakfast selection was reasonable and sufficient.

Uphill and narrow street to the accommodation - making it difficult for SUV car and parking. We had some damage on the bumper unfortunately.
