I was looking for a hotel in Cappadocia with a perfect location, stunning balloon views, and authentic cave-style rooms that still preserve the region’s history – and this place exceeded all my expectations! The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all modern comforts. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get up in the morning (except for the balloon views, of course!). Breakfast was absolutely outstanding – fresh ingredients, generous portions, and flavors that went far beyond what I had imagined. Every morning felt like a treat. The staff deserves special praise – truly exceptional service. They helped organize all our activities, stored our luggage after check-out, and answered every question with kindness and professionalism. The location is perfect – in a charming small town that I would definitely recommend over staying in Göreme. Here, you’re right next to the entrance to Red and Rose Valley, much closer to the balloons, and within walking distance of a beautiful castle. It’s peaceful, authentic, and yet close to everything you need. An unforgettable stay – I can’t recommend it enough! And a special hello to Aga, the sweetest dog who made our visit even more memorable.

What an amazing holiday! From the moment I made the booking at Agarta, the staff made immediate contact on WhatsApp and were so helpful and kind in helping to organize our stay. From a bucket list balloon ride for our friend, to transfers and wonderful dinner recommendations - the staff treated us like family. The rooms were beyond gorgeous and the view upon stepping outside was the best in Goreme, hands down. We will definitely be back!!

It's not located centrally in Goreme, but this is actually not a bad thing.

We really wanted to stay in a cave hotel and wanted to stay outside of the main "hot air balloon" town (Göreme), for a quieter atmosphere. The hotel is gorgeous and has wonderful terraces for sunning and watching the hot air balloons float overhead and nice views of the hot air balloons/sunset/caves nearby (you can see them from your hotel room window, as well as from every terrace on the property). The breakfast is amazing - lots of delicious variety; you can also order eggs any way you like them. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. We stayed in a family suite and felt like we had a really good space for all of us. For more dinner options, Göreme is a 5 minute taxi ride away.

We loved Agarta cave hotel. It was one of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed in. First I was worried that it is not located in Göreme and it would be far away from the main things, but not at all. It is very easy to find a taxi whitch takes 8 minutes to get to Göreme if you want to have dinner there, but in the same time it is so much calmer and more quiet than staying in the busy touristy area in Göreme. The hotel itself is really beautiful, it has nice vibes and gives you an authentic experience, it is well equipped, the colours are beautiful and elegant, the staff are very friendly and they make sure you feel welcomed and help you in everything you need. The breakfast is out of this world, we loved it so much and the view to the balloons are perfect. They come really close to the hotel so it is a really nice experience from here. Ali also helped to find us a good deal flying in a hot air balloon so special thanks for that. Would recommend this place from all our hear!

Agarta is one of the best hotels in Cappadocia region, the location is perfect and the rooms are just awesome. Rooms are actually made in caves and gives you the feeling of living in an actual cave yet have all the amenities of a good hotel. The view early morning from the rooms balcony of the Baloons is just breathtaking. The owners are very kind people and will help you with almost every problem. There was an issue with our flight from Nevsehir to London and we didn't have a phone to contact Turkish Airlines customer care, the owner of the hotel was very kind to give his own mobile for more than half an hour to us to talk to the customer care, these small things take your experience to a whole different level. Last but not the least the actual king of the property is the owners dog named Aga he is the sweetest.

Nothing as such, almost everything was perfect

a wonderful hotel, cozy and stylish, the rooms are decorated with designer flair, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. large shower, towels are changed every day, water is brought to the room every day. big and satisfying breakfast. The owners help resolve any issues. You can arrange to rent a car or arrange a hot air balloon flight. the hotel itself is located between different valleys, through which you can walk. The valleys are all different and even more interesting than the famous ones. the only problem. There are no good shops nearby, only cafes and a mini market (where you can buy water and chips and chocolate)

We are extremely satisfied with our stay. The rooms were intriguing and authentic, providing a true sense of place. The hotel boasts several terraces, which not only serve breakfast but also offer a spectacular view of hot air balloons in the morning—a truly magical experience. The location is convenient for exploring on foot, with attractions like Rose Valley just a short walk away. Other sights are easily accessible by car within 5-10 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and exceptionally accommodating to children, ensuring a very family-friendly atmosphere throughout our visit. They were also exceptionally helpful during a difficult situation at our departure. Highly recommend for a memorable and child-friendly stay!

The hotel is located in the small town of Čavusin, about a 10 minute drive from Göreme and a fantastic location to watch the hot air balloons in the mornings. Ali at reception can help you organise anything you need from tours to taxis. My only word of caution would be for people with small kids or have limited mobility, it is a steep walk up to the hotel and the taxis cannot easily make it to the entrance. You also need to be comfortable with stairs.

It was all very good!

Amazing breakfast (best one we had in turkey) and the beginning of the ride valley hike is right there (love valley also walkable). They give you honeycomb 🥰 Staff was very nice and arranged shuttles for us to and from the airport. They also had a shower for you to use in case you are checked out but decide to go hiking which was so useful.

The room doesn’t have any temp control so it could get a bit hot and just know the hotel is not in gozleme but a neighboring town

Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. My friend and I were let to check-in earlier. Breakfast was pretty good. Beds were comfortable. Our room "Standard Double or Twin Room" was spacious enough for two people and the bathroom was also spacious. After we checked in, we did not get Wi-Fi access but it was fixed after we called the front desk to notify the issue. We really appreciated the hotel staff to pack lunch for us since we checked out early in the morning.
