Loved our extremely beautiful welcome from our host! He was the most welcoming person in Turkey....... you couldn't ask for a better knowledge-based host who goes out of his way to take care of you. Our apartment had two bedrooms, so we could spread out with our luggage and the washing machine was most welcome after traveling for weeks! The apartment is in a great central position and only one block from the harbour. Mustafa organised our guide to take us to Gallipoli and TJ himself is the most informative guide we have ever encountered. We can't recommend this place or TJ's tours enough. It's not a 5 star hotel but it is a fabulous stay at an affordable price.

The apartment is situated in a central position, but the bars downstairs could be a noise problem......but it didn't affect us in any way at all as I had ear plugs in and slept v well. In fact, we loved the local noise !

Great stay in the centre of town, good access to everything you could want. Great facilities with spacious rooms and a washing machine. Amazingly helpful host gave us lots of advice and made sure we have everything we could need. Parking very close but in paid parking lots (not very expensive)

The property was in a busy street with bars and was quite noisy until quite late. Only an issue for me as I’m a light sleeper but the windows and blinds don’t block out any noise so just be aware if you’re also a light sleeper. Bathroom could do with some TLC but other than that it was a great place to stay

Mustafa’s place is a real gem if you are visiting Çanakkale/Gallipoli with friends or family. Located right at the heart of the city, it offers clean, easily accessible apartments including a fully-equipped kitchen. Mustafa is a great host who will tell you how to go about the city and he was so kind to also let us know about the stuff we forgot at his place and post it to us. Definitely recommended.

The street is really lively at night with very nice bars and thus can get a bit noisy. However, you’ll probably get really tired at Gallipolli or dive into the night life so it won’t be a problem.

This is a very well located property in the old town a couple minutes to the ferry and in the thick of old towns restaurants and bars. It’s large and spacious with a lovely seperate lounge area and seperate kitchen. Our wonderful host Mustafa who we very much appreciated spoke excellent English, was extremely helpful, giving us excellent tips on local attractions especially for Gallipoli and Troy and restaurants. It was very enlightening to be able to talk with him over many a tea and coffee generously supplied by his cafe. Highly recommended!! We are richer for the experience of being able to have a local perspective.

Great host, very helpful and kind. Good apartment, with everything needed, clean and confortable. Location is right smack in the middle of the center, walking distance to everywhere and everything. Correct value for money. I would definitely go back.

The only small negative is the fact that due to its location near bars and pubs there was some noise during the evening and early night (music and loud talking). But with windows closed the disconfort was minor, we could sleep and the apartment is well insulated.

We only spend one night in Kinzi House but we can say that it would be a comfortable stay for a longer family vacation too. The landlord is very kind and welcoming and makes you feel at home. Everything (cafes, restaurants, war museum, promanade) is in a short walking distance. The hotel is located in a pedestrian street but in sth like 300m. there is private parking. The house is very clean and comfortable, A/C is working perfect, there is washing machine, an iron, hair dryer, TV set, a good sized refrigirator and everything is very well taken care of.

The apartment is located in the city center, very close to the sea side and Trojan horse...You could not wish more. Apart from that, the host is a great, great person. He helped me find a free parking place going with my car and prospecting different locations. That is a great thing which you don't expect and don't see too often, I was coming after a long driving trip and helped me. He also provided travel advice and was available for his guests . I would stay at him again If I would return. Thank you!

We were in an apartment with 3 bedrooms (a living room was transformed into a bedroom) which is always difficult to find as we have 3 children. There was space for everyone and privacy for us, the parents. The apartment was very clean. The hotel itself is on a very charming street in the center of Canakkale with lots of restaurants, bars, barber shops, etc. The owner of the hotel, Mustafa, welcomed us personally. He is a very friendly and well-spoken person who definitely knows his town and recommends top places such as Turkish BBQ, Turkish ice cream (dondurma), etc. Try the seafood place called "Fevzi" - it's right in front of the hotel entrance and it's great. If you have the time, spare an hour at the barber downstairs and ask him to shave your beard - this tradition is still alive in Turkiye and it's a very pleasant experience. The guy charged me 2.50 EUR for these 30 minutes of relaxation.

Nothing really. Maybe some people might consider the street a bit too noisy, because it is very lively until late evening. Just have a Turkish raki (or whatever your poison is), drink a cocktail/beer at the Beige bar downstairs and you'll sleep like a baby like I did. Other rooms don't face the street so they're super quiet.

Everything was perfect. Mustafa was waiting for us to check us in. The rooms were big and comfortable. Cleanliness was very good. Very cozy area and close to shopping, ferry point and sea facing promenade. Communications and welcome with a quick brief of house rules was very good. This felt like home. For day trips to Gallipoli and Troy this is a good place for a pickup from the tour operators. Mustafa was knowledgeable to answer any questions that typical tourists have.

There is no particular thing to mention. Maybe a microwave in the kitchen would be a handy addition which adds to the convenience.

Perfect location. We were travelling as 2 families with kids. It’s in the dead center of the city. Easy access to ferry terminal, all the restaurants and pubs. We arrived early. Our host was very accommodating and happily let us checked in early. If you are visiting Gallipoli it is a great place to stay.

It is in a small alleyway without a car access and at night the street is lively with pubs. We found it very appealing. Most close down at midnight but if you are noise sensitive be aware.
