I had a fantastic stay at Grand Makel Hotel in Istanbul. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is great — close to public transportation and easy to get around. A special shoutout to Mr. Ömür from the restaurant staff. He was always kind, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed during breakfast. His warm attitude truly made a difference in my stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and I especially enjoyed the Turkish tea and desserts. I felt very welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The location is also perfect for exploring the city. However, what we appreciated the most was the warm welcome and professional service from Mahmud and Sibel at the reception. They helped us with everything, patiently answered all our questions, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt at home throughout our time there. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again for my next visit.

Really nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast was quite good and a really nice view of Istanbul from the dining room. The hotel is located in a commercial area with lots of nearby restaurants, fast food places, grocery supermarket that make it really convenient. Restaurants in the area are much more reasonably priced compared to those downtown catering to tourists. The tram and bus station are a short 10 minute walk away. It is about 20-30 minutes to get to Sultanahmet.

Bathroom has a strange odor that could not be fixed during our stay. We had a second room that had no issues.

The hotel offers very good services, it is located near the Tram line that goes to the city centre in 20-30 minutes, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, there was excellent communication (thank you Diana, Ramazan and guest relations manager!), they helped us book a taxi to the airport, breakfast was very good as well (continental style, but with good choice of typical Turkish cheeses, pastries, and halva for example), and the view from the restaurant on the top floor was great (could see Galata and a lot more). Highly recommended!

The hotel could offer money exchange or there could at least be a cash machine inside. There could also be more information for tourists (even though it is not in a tourist area) and maybe some maps of the central parts of flyers for sightseeing...

On the first day the first room was not okay, this quickly sorted by staff and then from second day everything were excellent with lovely and large room and free lovely breakfast

It's a great hotel with great facilities. The staff in the reception, Meliha, Mahmud, and Egy up and restaurant (don't remember other names) were great; they were very friendly and helpful. The massage in the spa was wonderful. The room was good, comfy bed, clean and cozy. Thanks to all of you guys for the great stay
