The staff was lovely. I think there was only one man (that I encountered) who spoke English, and he was able to help me with anything I needed. If he wasn't around there was lots of miming and pointing, but for simple stuff that was sufficient. The room was nothing fancy, but it was clean and the bathroom had hot water. There is no AC, which they do notify you of when you book a room. There was a ceiling fan and that was fine in September. I loved the breakfast. It was simple and mostly the same each morning, but they did have slight variations in what they offered. I thought it was tasty. I loved the location. I would describe it as being in a residential neighborhood, so it's pretty quiet and calm. Right around the corner is a street that has several restaurants and some food and other shops, and it's quite active at night. The best food I ate in Istanbul was at those local restaurants and all for a good price. There is a tram stop maybe a 5 minute walk from the hotel that will take you to some of the major sites you'll want to see in Istanbul. I was a solo female traveler and had no issues walking through here or eating here late at night, other than some people staring. I was pleasantly suprised and pleased with my stay here.

We felt good at this hotel. It is a hotel that, although it is not in the city center, it is very easy to reach the ferry and the central area, but also in other areas of the city, we even walked to the central area. The normal breakfast, which fills you up. The room is small, but clean, as is the bathroom. There are many local restaurants in the area where you can eat at very good prices, compared to the city center. The friendly and bouncy staff, and the nice cat and the little one was delighted with it. It is not a luxury hotel, it is a normal budget hotel

I was lucky to have a very comfortable room, with table and chair - that was essential as I was working online. Internet connection was good and reliable. The hotel is a bit distant from main touristic places, but there are tram and metro stops nearby as well as bus station - thus its rather comfortable. Breakfast was ok. staff was helpful I arrived early and the room was provided quite fast, that's great. BTW I guess if you want your room to be cleaned - better ask

the toilet (bowl) was not cleaned... that's a shame as definitely worsen the impression

All staff are kind and so helpful. Hotel is on a great position, opposite of the bus station and close to the tram and metro and lots of local restaurants. Extremly clean rooms and so far the most comfortabel bed and linens. Bathroom's new and spacious. Would recomend for short as well as for longer stay. We booked for 6 days but extended another 5 days, that says it all. Definitely we'll come again 😀

The fridge did work but while it was on it heated up the room, which is normally good during winter but I'm not sure it would be very pleasent during the Summer as they don't have any AC, but this was to be expected as they have stated as such in the listing.

Easy Check-in & Check-out. Taxi Service very good and not as expensive as normal taxis. Breakfast (7:00-10:00) had good variety of regional food despite being just a small buffet. Near to restaurants. Near to Tramway and Busstation. Personel is very friendly and speaks english fluently.

Street gets a little loud in the evening.

The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and cool, even without the AC. I have a nice view of the mosque as well.

I didn’t like that there was no elevator only stairs, which made carrying luggage a bit difficult. The breakfast could also be improved. It would be nice to have more variety, especially some fruit options.

Didn't expect much, but the place was pretty nice for the price. Pretty good location with a bunch of restaurants and stores down the street, not far from public transport. Nice personnel, very helpful. Wi-fi seemed good during the day, small issues in the evening, but overall good enough.

Can't lock the room from inside, a bit weird, but it didn't cause any issues. Lights in the room a bit too dim.

Stayed here for 1 night as a stopover on a flight, I hired a car & took advantage of the free parking around. Perfect stay slept like a log. The shower worked with good pressure. Ill be booking my return stopover at the same place.

There was road works in the area so not always Google maps knows that so be cautious

Greate location. Amazing beds, cosy room, nice little hotel

The bathroom. Needs an upgrade. I'm not a big fan of showering on the toilet. The faucet for the cold water, I could not open it, as much as I tried. And the faucet for the hot water, it was hard to use and did not close properly, so it dripped

The location is great. In front of the hotel is a small playground, down the street is the tram that takes you directly to the Grand bazar and the center (Hagia Sofia) Around there are small shops and places to eat (cheap and good) and also a pharmacy, a place where you can buy phones and cellphone cards Across the street there is a bigger playground, a bus terminal and the old city wall (very nice, with a big gate) and also a very big city park and a metro station
