I recently stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, and overall, I had a very positive experience. The room was comfortable, offering a balanced size—not too small, yet not overly large—making it cozy and pleasant. The shower, although designed for one person, was excellent, providing a refreshing experience after a long day. One of the hotel's strongest points is its prime location. It is conveniently close to the tram, bus, and Marmaray metro station, making transportation around the city extremely easy and efficient. For travelers arriving from the airport, the bus drops you just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, adding to the convenience. The location also felt very safe, and my wife and I, who often returned late in the evening, never had any safety concerns. In fact, there is a police station just around the corner. Another positive highlight is the hotel staff. They were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our stay much more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel is located near one of the best currency exchange offices in Istanbul, which offers competitive rates compared to others in the city.

While my overall experience was positive, there were a few minor areas that could be improved. First, the breakfast, although healthy and rich in nutrients, was somewhat repetitive. A little more variety would have made it more enjoyable during a longer stay. Additionally, while the room was comfortable, it may not be ideal for those looking for larger spaces or more luxurious amenities. It was neither too small nor too spacious, but it might not suit travelers with higher expectations for room size. Despite these minor points, I would still recommend this hotel to those seeking comfortable accommodation in a convenient location, with friendly service and ease of access to transportation.

The staff of the hotel is great, and so is the location - 3 min walk to a Metro station and 10 min walk to a tram station. The beds are really comfortable and it was decently clean, which is very important. The room was spaceous and there was everything you could need. Overall, it was a good stay unlike in many other hotels in Istanbul

Breakfast was not good. It is VERY limited, we could barely eat anything. Eggs were charged additionally. Other than that, there were 2 types of salami, 2 types of cheese, 2 types of fruits and vegetables and some jams. Coffee machine did not work one morning. Once, there was no room for us to sit since there are only 4-5 breakfast tables in a small room. Also, it is a bit noisy outside all night and all morning, so bear that in mind if you are a light sleeper

Location: the hotel was near (05 minutes walk) the bus station, the tram station and the metro station Aksaray (10 minutes). The neighborhood was quite. A supermarket was so near. Service: the breakfast was delicious and varied. The room service was responsive. Room: it was clean, cosy and had everything we needed, hot water, toilet paper,... Staff: i was amazed by how kind and helpful the staff were, especially when I got sick (cold). They made everything possible to help me through. I was really touched. I will always get back there.

I stayed at the hotel for one night during my layover in Istanbul. From the airport it is very convenient to take the HVIST bus. The bus stop is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. At the hotel itself I was greeted by nice and friendly staff. The room was small and comfortable. I liked the small balcony in the room where I could drink coffee in the morning. Also the room had heating, which is very important for me in winter. The breakfast at the hotel was very tasty and varied. You can also ask for coffee and tea in the room on request, it is included.

At night it was a little noisy outside. But it was the night from Saturday to Sunday. I guess the streets should be quieter in the middle of the week.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mavirem. Ferhat, Mehmet-Can and another gentleman who works at reception during the day who I’ve unfortunately forgotten his name were very helpful and kind. The property close by to transport links and short walk to the city centre. I would stay in this hotel again and recommend it to a friend. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures but property matches the photos- it is very clean and modern.

For the price we paid, this hotel delivered. Ferhat and his family are excellent hosts, and try their best to make sure their guests are comfortable. I had breakfast included with my booking. This starts from 8:30, and you should try it. Fresh and a variety of Turkish dishes. The location isn't far from the Aksaray Havaist 12 airport bus stop. There's also a lift so no need to lug bags up the stairs. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel has a very good location near yenikapi metro station and aksaray tram station. Surrounded by many restaurants and shops and close to laleli market and grand bazaar. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and speak good English. The breakfast is varied and of excellent quality. The rooms are comfortable and warm and the hot water is flowing and wonderful. I recommend it

The location was great. The train/metro was nearby and 10 minutes walk to the tram The neighborhood was safe, quiet and full of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was alright. The staff was helpful. The room was clean. The elevator worked.

There was problem with a window in my room no. 403. But I got a new room which was OK. A bit of noise from the courtyard and neighbouring property. There was a ventilator or something.

The staff is very very nice. Very helpful and always smiling. Im sorry i forgot their names but every single person on the reception was kind, polite and friendly and helping. The staff in the breakfast room was also very nice. The location is very easy by Metro and Tram and Bus. There are several restaurants nearby alongwith several money exchange shops. The area is also nice for shopping. The hotel is clean and quiet.
