we did not book with breakfast.Room was nice and with a kettle for coffee and tea. and it has a very nice terrace up to use looking the sea with a wonderful view. we were using all time. location very nice near the Moda shops area but in a residential area. .

when I arrived i did ask to pay by cash. and I asked an invoice to be sure that I have a proof that I was paying. they showed me on the computer that I paid but not invoice at all. I would prefer to have the invoice with me in case of double charge on the card.it is normal like that??

(I was staying at one of the rooms with sea view.) Lovely view from the room. Having a balcony was a huge plus. The room had a kitchen area and a sitting area as well. The bed and the room was comfortable. Staff was very helpful. There is a very nice terrace on top where you can have your breakfast while looking at the sea. The hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful area (sometimes some music was coming from a nearby cafe, but it was not too loud). Close to everywhere.

No cutlery or dish in the kitchen. There was no electric outlet in the kitchen area, so I had to move the kettle next to the bed. The shower door was not closing properly. The material on top of the desk was feeling like leather - which made it hard to use and clean. A plain table would be much better. The chair in the room was not suitable for working. The wi-fi quality was not very good for Zoom calls. A bit expensive.

The room was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent. Shops and cafes are just around the corner. The room with seaview is so worth it. I would stay in the hotel again.

Moda is the place for living. You may find market, fashion craft stores, nice restaurants and fine bars. Melek hotel is located walking distance to all these nice places. But at the same time it is absolutely quiet and lovely part of Moda. Just behind you may find an awesome see bay with a lot of nice people walking, running, sitting on the grass, working or drinking wine and chatting. Don’t miss early morning and late evening to enjoy walking aside. Melek Hotel doesn’t new one - but all rooms have their own style and comfort. Young team of boys and girls with their smiles are doing their best to make your stay comfortable. Don’t forget to try their original cocktails with tea in the bar :) Thnx a lot! PS: Don’t be afraid that it is far from the main sights at European side. Just 30 mins with the ferry followed by gulls and you arrive at Karakoy to enjoy historical Istanbul.

There is no breakfast opportunities. But there is no problems to find nearby.

The property is located in the vibrant district of Moda. Very close to a park and nice cafes & restaurants. I booked a room with a sea view, and it was magnificent. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was very nicely decorated and I appreciated the balcony with the view.

If you are looking for a very quiet accommodation, you might want to reconsider. There is music coming from a cafe downstairs until 11pm. I did enjoy the life and energy, but if you are very tired after a long trip this might prove a challenge.

The location is quiet and great sea view, nice restaurants around and a great bakery just 100 m away. Loved the area . Great helpful employees and giving us all needed details. Walking distance to Kadikoy port which is the easiest and cheapest way to travel to the European side.

in the room could have been a bit more clean and the air conditioning is working only when you are in the room

The view was nice and the surrounding staff was very nice.

Unfortunately we changed rooms 3 times, first room was nothing like the picture as it needed tlc, hot tub needs a very good scrub, all 3 room ac needed servicing, it feels like it’s been abandoned.

Absolutely great experience! Melek Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Knowledgeable about local area and speak English sufficiently. Special thanks to an amazing Gizem for a warm reception, support and kindness. Charming memories. Will definitely stay here again!

The rooms interiors are nice but a little outdated.

The view was absolutely a stunning sight and the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Such a relaxing spot and very calm area. Highly recommend.

The only downside was the walk to reach the bustling bars but thats only because I'm not used to walking much :)

Cool ad friendly staff at with a nice attitude at all time. If you are looking for some fancy place, this is not the location at all but if you only want to use the room for sleepover, that will meet your expectation. Can and Gizem are nie and brilliant people who will be at your disposal all the time. Cheers!
