Our stay at Sarniç Butik Otel was the perfect way to end our trip to Turkey. The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the city center, surrounded by amazing restaurants, bars, and markets—everything we needed for our last days. Fantastic Location: The hotel is in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore and enjoy the vibrant local scene. Helpful and Friendly Staff: The staff were great, always welcoming and ready to assist with anything we needed. Rustic Charm: The hotel has a cozy and traditional feel, adding to its charm. Assistance with Luggage: Though there is no elevator, the staff kindly helped us carry our heavy luggage to the second floor without any hesitation. Good Breakfast: A simple yet satisfying breakfast, just enough to kickstart the day.

Things to Keep in Mind: No Elevator: As a rustic hotel, it only has stairs, so traveling light is recommended. If you have heavy luggage, the staff will help, but it’s something to consider.

We stayed at this hotel in Kadıköy – a great location with lots of cafés, shops, and the ferry just a short walk away. The staff were definitely the highlight of our stay: very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the atmosphere warm and welcoming.

The only downside was that during the hot weather the air conditioning couldn’t quite keep up, so the room felt a bit warm. Overall though, thanks to the people and the lively area, the stay was a positive experience.

Amazing location, food and drinks all over the place. I will be back.

It’s very noisy but that’s what you get staying in this area, it wasn’t a problem for me at all, but be prepared to not be able to sleep because of the noise at night. The only thing I didn’t like about here was that the doors for the rooms have a gap underneath. When people smoke in the reception or outside area, the smoke travels into our rooms. I was waking up to strong smells of cigarettes in our room because of this reason.

The Sarnıç is a charming and incredibly well located hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (there was a slight language barrier but that is more on me than them). After checking in you will need to remind them to set the AC to on all the time so it doesn't shut off every two hours! They serve a good, solid breakfast - certainly filling.

The wifi could be a little stronger. One night there was a singer in the restaurant and they set up a speak on the street side. The music went upstairs and was a bit distracting.

Sarnlç is a really nice little place, authentic Turkish hospitality, our room was small BUT very comfortable, clean. Great location, butane warned.. if you’re a light sleeper- take some ear plugs (it’s in a lively area that’s got music playing until around midnight) didn’t bother us , but could be an issue for others. The staff were amazing, beyond helpful , indeed one of the chefs gave us his Istanbul Travel card to use for the day 😊 Kadikoy/Moda area is a good hub for sightseeing, eating, drinking, shopping… even has the old type tram system operating, pretty sure we’re going back, will be staying at Sarniç again.

Wi-Fi is very hit and miss, pretty much none existent in our room, ok down in reception or breakfast room.

It is a cosy hotel full of charm, perfectly located and with exceptionally attentive staff. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delightful. The restaurant with very good live music.

The historic building likely doesn't allow for better soundproofing, so the lively activities in the Kadikoy Market can be heard late into the night. However, we were well-informed about it beforehand and came prepared—and ended up enjoying the experience.

Lovely place - fantastic location, big spacious room, small balcony, big, super comfortable bed, great shower! What more could you ask!? Lovely, friendly helpful staff. The first day we arrived, we went to their restaurant around the back of the hotel. What an atmosphere!! Singing, dancing - a real party! Highly recommend!! It was our first time in Istanbul & will definitely be returning!

Nothing! The stairs were a bit steep but not a problem - just have to keep your eyes open!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarnic Butik Hotel. We were staying there during our wedding day, so we had a really busy day at the hotel with all the people we were supposed to meet. the hairstylist. the makeup artist, several camera crew... The staff of Sarnic Butik Hotel were cooperative on every aspect and made our wedding day enjoyable since the very beginning. We shot some photos in nice traditional-looking corridors ad common areas of the hotel too. It is also worth mentioning that there were no additional costs involved, although we decided ourselves to tip the staff.

Our only complaint is about he internet connection and the speed which the staff said their internet provider doesn’t provide a better service. :(

every evening in the restaurant overlooking the windows of our room there was live music until 1 am. if you are looking for peace and quiet then this will be difficult
