From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the hotel, you will always see the smiling faces of the workers.They will fulfill all your requests.Breakfast can be adapted to your needs.They will give you all the help you need with transportation to tourist attractions, they can also organize transport from the airport to hotel and return from hotel to the airport.Even under the bed was clean, the first accommodation to have that.From the room you have a view of the Bosphorus, and on most others tourist attractions. There is a metro station in front of the hotel. KEREM USTUNEL is a hotel employee who is a PERFECT PERSON AND PROFESSIONAL WORKER.He will help you with everything you need, he is a person who deserves all respect.Look for him at the hotel and you'll know what I'm talking about.This hotel deserves a rating of 10.Thank you for everything.

The location in Kadıköy is superb—perfect for exploring the area with plenty of cafes, shops, and easy access to transportation. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to Nagehan, Kerem, Baran, and the rest of the team for their genuine hospitality, professionalism, and helpful attitude throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Asian side of Istanbul.

One thing to note: our room did not have any windows. If natural light or having a view is important to you, be sure to check this detail when booking.

I want to thank the manager and staff for giving me such a surprise special day on my birthday during my stay. They were so genuine and friendly. The delicious birthday cake was truly the piece de résistance. Especially when everyone joined together to sing for me ❤ I especially want to thank Nagehon, Boris, Egemen and Kerem for always smiling and rushing to help me. I could not ask for more. My welcome on arrival was courteous and kind and the staff came to say goodbye when I left The hotel deserves to be the most succesful in Istanbul if this is how it treats its guests. I have to admit that i upgraded when i arrived, switching from a street view to a room with an incredible view across the Bosphorous to the older part of Istanbul. the window was the full length of the room and stretched from floor to ceiling so i left the armchair facing it so i could watch the ferries, trams and people as well as across the water. the manager gave a special price for the upgrade it is a fantastic location. pop on a ferry right outside the hotel to quickly take you to the wonder and madness of istanbul, then return to enjoy the cafes, restaurants and shops of the seaside town of kadikoy. i also discovered that the metro outside the hotel takes you directly to SAW airport. So i will definitely return expecting to have a wonderful time again

some of the town centre roads were closed at night for pedestrians to use them. my satnav could not cope so i ended up parking a short distance away. not sure how the hotel could help. perhaps a copy of the map showing their hotel and a line showing the last kilometre to it coming from the airport direction or from the european side i was pleased that the staff quickly found a repair kit so my friend could sew a hole in the jumper she had bought me. such a minor lapse however

Great location in the best neighborhood in Istanbul. Walking distance to great restaurants, bars, market, 20 min walk to stadium where Fenerbahçe team plays. Just steps to metro line and ferry terminals. The hotel itself was great; nice large rooms. Really nice staff - Kerem and Nagehan went out of their way to make us comfortable and to answer any questions.

No negatives to report, it was a really nice stay, we would stay there again.

Everything. Location , location,and location . Hospitality, clean, friendly. surprising upgrade from the owner Mr Oguz who welcomed us to the hotel . It was our first time to book this hotel, we booked a sea view room but he generously upgraded us to the WoW presidential suite. All the time the lovely staff at reception would ask if we need anything, offer sweets or tea or coffee . Clean premises. Everyone speaks good English. Furniture is new and the bathrooms were clean, the rooms and bathrooms were super high quality, when using the bathroom it’s comfortable easy even water pressure and temperature were stable and you don’t suffer with changing of pressure or temperatures like in other hotels. Amenities in bathroom are of high quality. Metro station and ferry terminal are literally steps away across the street. Everything is literally around you , you just step out and voila there are restaurants, shops,cafes,,,,etc. The very Best of the Best view over the city and the Bosphorus from the big balcony that’s spacious you can through a party in. Big sitting area, big T.V. Big kitchen with All facilities. I wouldn’t change this hotel for next times, will always choose it . Thank you for a great memorable stay DeKalb ✨

OVERALL: Great location for a family stay, our favourite in 3 stops in Istanbul for this trip. We were in a family suite with sea view had separate bedroom & bathroom for our kids (5 & 6 yo) but gave them easy access to us when needed, which they loved. Staff went out of their way to assist, including accommodating a very early arrival with a morning check-in, and were very understanding of our tired and grumpy children on arrival. ROOM: - Lovely views of the sea and port area activity was nice to enjoy in the early morning and evenings. - Rooms were spacious, quality throughout. - Beds were the most comfortable we had on our 4 week holiday, as were the showers. - Great sound proofing enabled a sound sleep for two light sleepers in our family. Even the mini bar fridge was quiet, which is rare! AREA: - Kadikoy is a vibrant area, a less overtly touristy feel than the old town. - Ferry access to Euro side is easy, tram/metro transport right outside the hotel provide other easy options for getting around. That said, probably not as much in this area for young kids ... though my wife and I loved it!

Wished we had stayed here for longer! Only tip would be to ask for a room on level 3 or higher for sea view. For us, getting in early was a huge bonus, and the room was still awesome. However the view was partially obscured on Level 2 by a large tree out front. As you can see from above, this didn't negatively impact our stay overall and we would happily stay on Level 2 again.

Hotel in fabulous location on Asian side literally a 2 minute walk to all the fabulous restaurants bars and nightlife of kadikoy yet quiet enough for a good nights sleep because of the excellent double glazed windows. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. We met the charming owner who accompanied us to make sure we caught the correct two trains on the metro. We enjoyed watching the ferries and people from our sea view room just be aware the better views are 4th floor upwards but this would not stop me from staying here again if we were to return.

What truly sets this hotel apart is not just its prime location but the exceptional quality of service. As a frequent visitor to Kadikoy and having experienced various hotels in the area, my first stay at the Dekalb Hotel was a delightful surprise. The rooms exude elegance in their decoration, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel is commendable. The beds are so comfortable that waking up in the morning is a challenge, complemented by the peaceful ambiance. The hotel owner’s visible dedication to their business and the English-speaking staff add to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, my stay at the Dekalb Hotel was an outstanding experience.

This is one of the nicest hotels I‘ve ever stayed in. The rooms are big & have everything you need; the bed is so comfy; everything is spotlessly clean. You can get a little street noise, but less so if you have a room at the side or on a high floor. The location is perfect - you can take a ferry to, or close to, pretty much anywhere in Istanbul. It’s 2mins from the Metro that will take you to/from SAW airport, or the hotel will book you a taxi. There are many excellent restaurants & cafes & bars in the area to suit all tastes. But I‘ve saved the best til last, because the very best thing about the Dekalb Hotel is its staff. Every one of them was so friendly and helpful, but my (Eurovision-Style) 12pts goes to Kerem - so much knowledge! Thank you Dekalb Hotel, any time we come back to Istanbul we‘ll be sure to stay here, from „Nottingham Forest“!

The staff are very accomodating and helpful. Boris Menifer and Nagehan were excellent. The amenities provided helped a lot, especially the free bottled water service. The design was very beautiful and pleasing. Cannot go wrong with the location either: next to the water and ferry (25min to Sultanahmet and Galata area), and right next to market with excellent local food options.

Nothing I did not like but just to be aware that the area around is not catered to tourists exactly (which I preferred) so be prepared to learn the language and enjoy doing so while exploring.
