I recently stayed at this wonderful property in the heart of Kadikoy and had an exceptional experience. The room was immaculate, with everything new and spotlessly clean. The owner was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to allow an earlier check-in after my long journey. Despite being in the middle of a bustling area with numerous pubs, the soundproof windows ensured that I didn't hear any noise from outside. The location is perfect, and the owner was very communicative and helpful throughout my stay. I initially chose this place by accident, but I am extremely happy I did. My only regret is that I stayed for just one night. Highly recommended!

+Friendly staff, clean room and nice location. As an ex Istanbulite, I rather stay in Kadikoy than anywhere in European side. +Definitely worth the money. +Keep in mind that there is no elevator but the staff helped me out with my luggages.

Be aware that this place located where the nightlife is. So even though the room is well insulated, when you open a window, it can be quite noisy.

Room was small but cosy, had a big balcony (almost as big as a room), there was hairdryer and all needed toiletries/towels in the room. Also there was a small kitchen with possibility to grab some water/tea in the hall. Location is quite good (near 10 mins to ferry port and bus stops). A lot of places to eat near the hotel. Wifi was mostly good but for 1 day when they changed routers for new ones (guess now it should work even better).

I was a bit shocked when get back to hotel and saw my room door widely opened and two unknown men inside. It appeared that air conditioner of room below mine was broken and they were fixing it from my balcony. Hotel manager apologised for that but I would prefer to be notified prior rather than apologised after.... They try to fix comfort of other guests but broken mine (to me broken privacy means broken comfort). Rather than that all was good.

great location, room was basic but fine, shared bathroom was really clean and didn't have to share with many other guests, didn't have to wait to use it once. Staff let us leave our bags after checkout and let us check in about 1:30am. unlimited free water, coffee and teas in the shared area. room was soundproofed well.

lots of stairs to get to the room, no lift. In a party street so on the weekend it's loud almost all night but you can't hear the noise from the street. there's a comedy club with live music in the hostel which was loud til about 11pm. Didn't bother us but might be annoying for others. Smoking is allowed in the cafe downstairs so the whole place has lingering cigarette smoke (it doesn't get in the rooms though) we are smokers too so it wasn't overpowering but might be annoying if you don't smoke.

The location on the Asian side of Istanbul was excellent for me as the hotel is on one of the streets in KADIKÖY with many bars and restaurants and I was attending a show in a venue opposite the hotel. The area is full of restaurants, cafes, bars and nightlife with a much more local feel than the European side of Istanbul.

My only minor complaint was that the rooms are around a common area (where you can help yourself to complimentary tea and coffee) but the walls are very thin and I was woken up by people talking late into the night in the common area. I would suggest to the hotel to put up a sign asking guests not to make noise or hang out in the common area between certain hours when others are sleeping.

Very convenient location, 24 hour bus to both airport nearby, also metro directly to SAW airport, ferry to European area. Ground floor turn into bar and restaurant during night time and the vibe was really relaxing and cool. Also more bars are on the same street where the hotel located. Overall this neighborhood has many cafes and restaurants as well well supermarket and gift shops. I love the vibe here, it's dynamic and suitable for young people to stay with a good price. The staff was really nice and helpful. I stayed in shared bathroom room and room with private bathroom during my five night stay, both room are clean and cozy, including the share bathroom.

Great location, on a very animated street, but you can’t hear any of the noise from the room so we slept very well. Basic room but with everything that you need, including toiletries and slippers. We appreciated having a balcony and complimentary tea and coffee. On New Year’s Eve we found some sweets and snacks and a best wishes letter from the hosts.

I liked everything about the property, except for the fact that the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay but I’m not sure what’s the property policy on this.

the location is amazing, right in the middle of life but room super quiet and with a lovely balcony. The tram stop is really a few minutes away if you want to reach the port or the metro stop, and everywhere is surrounded by amazing bars, food, music places and so on. The BKM itself has a club on the first floor where they host stand-up comedy and other events, and they have a very nice bar and restaurant very popular. The price was great as well! Would go back straightaway

I stayed at BKM Hostel for an entire week and had a fantastic experience. The facility is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring the vibrant neighborhood, which is packed with cozy coffee shops, lively bars, and a wide variety of restaurants. If you're planning to stay on the Asian side of the city, I highly recommend BKM Hostel for its cleanliness, convenience, and lively surroundings.

Prime location in the middle of Moda, Kadıköy. Comfortable beds. Very clean rooms and bathroom. AC. Regular hotel amenities are provided, toothpaste and toothbrush is a thoughtful touch. Free tea & coffee.

It's neither hotel nor hostel. More like a guest house. So don't expect a hotel lobby or a social area like a hostel. No elevator. Staff at the entrance could be more welcoming and friendly. Cleaning lady was friendly though.
