The staff was incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist, making our stay truly enjoyable. A small suggestion would be to add a canopy over the entrance to protect guests from rain, as we had a bit of a downpour during our arrival. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic variety, but perhaps offering more healthy options like fresh smoothies or gluten-free choices would be a great addition. The hotel design is sleek and modern, but it could feel even more cozy with a few local art pieces or unique decor elements. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The Hotel is in a good location! The room was very comfortable with all the facilities in good working order. There are a good number of restaurants very close by. All of the staff were exceptional 👏 Lovely place to stay close to the city centre! Would definitely be back!

10/10 – A Truly Wonderful Stay at Hotel Meridiani Taksim Our stay at Hotel Meridiani Taksim was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were treated with such care, hospitality, and attention to detail that it truly elevated our entire experience in Istanbul. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and ideally located in the heart of Taksim, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Farid, Omer, Sahra, and Mahmood – each of them went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy at all times. Their respectful and friendly attitude made us feel completely at home. Every little detail was taken care of: our water bottles were always refilled, toiletries like shampoo were topped up without us asking, and the rooms were consistently kept spotless. It’s rare to find such genuine care and dedication, especially at a star hotel, but the team here truly made it happen. Whether it was helping with directions, offering great recommendations, or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, the service felt personal and heartfelt. We were never treated like just another guest – we were welcomed like friends. If you’re planning a stay in Istanbul and want a place where you’ll feel valued, comfortable, and truly looked after, Hotel Meridiani Taksim is the perfect choice. Breakfast could be served as self-service

We had to move hotels due to a cleanliness issue with the previous hotel we had booked, the staff at this hotel had no problem in accommodating us even at late hours. Very friendly. The room exceeded our expectations - warm, regular cleaning provided, amazing bathroom and overall a great experience.

I stayed in the Merdiani hotel for two nights. The room was very clean, all facilities were new and in good condition. Above all, the hospitality was outstanding. All the staff was very nice and I felt to be at home. My special thanks to Eiman . Hope to stay again there shortly.

If you are comparing hotels and need an honest opinion, please read along. I honestly don’t know where to begin to explain the quality of service that you receive at this hotel. My mom was staying on her own at this hotel and I was in touch with the staff from the beginning since my mom doesn’t speak Turkish and English. I sent over 50 messages to them which were all responded to in a timely manner. They let me know when my mom arrived at the hotel. I asked for a blanket and they provided it right away. My mom’s flight was canceled and they extended her stay for one night at no cost! All requests that I had were answered right away and at no cost. My mom said the quality of food was great and the room was nice and clean. The staff are kind and respectful. The hotel is in a great location, especially if you have work with the Canadian embassy and need to do your biometrics. It’s just a 2 minute walk away from there. The respect and the quality that I received at this hotel was way beyond my expectations and was something I never experienced at any other hotel. The thing that I loved about their attitude was that they show respect and compassion in all their communication. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there next time I am in Istanbul.

Everything is great about this hotel!

The hotel is in very good condition,probably newly renovated,with modern interior and great lights.Rooms are clean and spatious,beds are very comfortable.The reception is kind and helpful,thankful for their advices about the stay.Breakfast is okay for the price you pay,but i suggest having buffet breakfast with the same products because not everyone eats what is served on the table.So make people choose what they want :)

The only remark i have is the street where the hotel is.The location itself is not bad because you are 10 min away from Taksim,but unless you move around with taxi,you will have to walk on a very steep uphill /downhill. Also the neigbourhood is poor and at night suspitios people walk around so it feels a little bit unsafe.A worker from a near market told us that vices are present on those streets and robberies too...Overall it is a good value for the money.

This hotel is great and I doubt that you can find a better option for this price. It’s very clean and very good taste in interior design. You get your towels changed every two days. Free tea, coffee and water anytime you need it. The breakfast is good, personally. It’s a typical Turkish breakfast, so don’t go around searching for other hotels just because of the breakfast. The location is great. You walk 5 minutes uphill and you’re in Taksim Square. Also, if you’re in Fatih or the Asian Side, you can get a bus that gets you directly across the street of the hotel. (EM1 and another bus that I’ve forgot, but you can find it on Google Maps) Just around the corner there is 24/7 bakery and across the street there is a Starbucks. The staff is great and they know very good English. I don’t know the name of the guy who checked us in but you were great, keep up the good job! This is by far one of the greatest options if you want to stay in Taksim.

Extremely friendly staff they are always happy to help with any requests. The location is amazing and so is the price. The rooms are a bit on the small side but well maintained and cozy they don't feel cramped. Free coffees and tea are always available in the reception area. Would recommend to anyone that wants to stay in taksim square. Exceptional!!!
