Location was excellent for my purposes (business meetings, cultural events, visits with friends), close to public transportation (Basmane train station and Metro stop, and the Gazi Blv tramway station).

Breakfast was adequate, but mediocre by Turkish breakfast standards.

Wide, comfortable bed. Room was spacious with a wardrobe, couch, desk and chair. There were sockets on both sides of the bed. Free and reliable WiFi, strong signal. Hotel was in a good location, walking distance from the seafront, train station, Agora, Kültürpark, and many shops and restaurants. Hot water and good shower pressure. There was air conditioning but in April it was only blowing hot air (this was centrally controlled and reception had no control over this). This was too warm for us, but we found that turning the aircon off and having the window open allowed plenty of fresh air in to keep the room comfortable.

I chose this hotel for 2 nights, including New Year's Eve. Centrally located and within walking distance of the park (where we had fun on New Year's Eve) and the promenade by the sea. You can also walk to the bazaar which is right next to the Clock Tower. The hotel has a heated swimming pool (free access), and spa services. In addition to the hotel you can find absolutely anything you want. You can find parking right in front of the hotel Basmane Vakif bank otopark), covered, with 6 floors, guarded, but it is paid (I parked after 4 pm and left after 2 days, around 11 am and I paid 500 TL (be careful they don't want a bank card but only cash in hand). The breakfast was excellent, with many choices. The hotel was one of the top ones. A good choice. I recommend

The check-in experience was straightforward and efficient. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The amenities in the room were perfectly fine, including good Wi-Fi. The room was very well-sized, and the water pressure in the shower was the best I've ever experienced in my life. The hotel also had an indoor pool and sauna, both clean and well-maintained. Although we didn't use the gym, it was available. The breakfast was decent, offering a good variety of options, though not particularly remarkable. The hotel doesn't have the most convenient location, being a bit far from the promenade. However, there is a well-stocked mini-market 2 doors away. We were aware of that but had no other options available at the time. On the whole, the hotel was a good base for our two-night stay in Izmir.

On account of the location of the hotel, there aren't many restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Breakfast was amazing! Everything was clean. Our room was spacious, location is close to city center but the area is a bit busy and loud.

Not nice that they charged us for “swimcaps” to swim in the pool. Basically pool is included in our stay, but to swim in the pool you need to pay for swimcaps? So that doesn’t makes it so included isn’t it? 😁 Almost like the hotel is trying to make more money in other ways. Also the area is a bit loud and shady.

Located very close to Basmane train station and about a 10 minute walk from Kemeralti bazaar. The rooms were generously sized, aircon worked very well and the beds were very comfortable. The beds are actually kingsize, which was great. Complementary water was provided. The bar area is an attractive place to sit with a drink in the evening - cool and airy with polished granite wall feature. The best thing though is the staff, who were very helpful with a few requests. We were able to store our luggage before and after check-out and they couldn't have made it easier!

Spacious, modern and with great amenities

The whole parking situation! We chose this hotel because it was advertised as having parking. This is not true. You are made to park in a shabby parking lot nearby and pay that extra! When you raise the issue with the hotel staff they mock you on your face saying that all hotels are like that, that they say they have parking but you have to pay it separately. The arrogance and preposterous way the staff talk with the clients completely ruins what would be a perfect and comfortable stay in this hotel.

Breakfast was very good: international as you would get in most hotels in Europe but with some Turkish influence: börek and fetta cheese with large selection of green salad stuff. The breakfast room was large and only half full, friendly service- Location of the hotel; very central to the old town and the old open market, one of the largest in the world.

Only a few of the staff speaking English, but this will change with the new generation coming along. manager on duty was very professional and helpful

Location of the hotel. Very close to the Izmir Clock tower, Cultural Park and markets. Also the staff performance was very good!

Room, it was on road side although I asked for quiet room. It was noisy due to traffic especially early morning!

The hotel is nice, very clean and the staff is super helpfull and kind. the breakfast was good aswell you have a little bit from everything. the rooms are big, and a big bathroom. interior is modern too. the location is escellent very close to the tubes 3minutes away. and all the strees full os shops and 15minutes walk to the pier and sea. i definatly recomend this hotel.
