A traditional Turkish spread that feels like it was made in someone’s mom’s kitchen, not in a commercial hotel buffet line. Everything is fresh, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The scrambled eggs with peppers? Possibly the best I’ve ever had — bold statement, but entirely deserved. Location-wise, it’s a strategic masterstroke: just 250 meters from the metro station, nestled in a neighborhood pulsing with life. Traditional cafés and restaurants line the streets, mostly buzzing with locals — always a sign you’re in the right spot. And if the sea calls you? The waterfront is a relaxed 10-minute stroll away. If you’re considering staying in this part of the city, stop hesitating. This hotel doesn’t just tick boxes — it redefines them.

The staff was super kind and helpful. Belkız from reception and Savaş, whenever we asked for help they did their best to help us. That was our first family trip and the hotel staff and hotel itself made it amazing! My parents were very happy about that stay. Location is also good cuz it’s like 10 minutes by walk from seaside and actually everything is around the hotel. So u can find whatever you want easily

The location is spot on and great for shopping and tourist activities. You can be in the centre of the huge market in minutes. The staff are superb! EMRAH and MEHMET helped us greatly and made us extremely welcome. I have looked at other hotels in the area that cost double and don't have the same quality or welcoming feel. I can't wait to come back to Izmir and I will definitely be staying at The New Hotel Zeybek. It is rated 3 Stars but I would say it's definitely 4 Stars. There is also a brilliant traditional Barber opposite that I had a haircut and wet shave with extra grooming for £6 (I usually pay £25) Thank you to all the staff!! Mike

Great hotel with great facilities, right in the heart of Izmir! The location is convenient, within walking distance to many cafes and restaurants. Great breakfast service in the morning and amazing staff! Many thanks to MertAli and Mehmet for their kindness during our stay and a BIG thank you to Emrah, who was a fantastic host to us- he always checked in with us, helped us with any questions we had, and helped organise a private day tour, which he spent the day driving us to important historic sights. Breakfast must put halvas we are turkiye and normal juice this syrop. 2.much sugar. .. . The prep. Food must put buffe for stay hot. First day the. Man for breakfast it was polite because he want speek me for I will give good review but must work hard for that. And second second day he don't say nothing. From breakfast I like only aubergine it was nice some Cheece bureck. The eggs scramble not hot.the tv litle Difficult. Day day check out booking write 13.00 and 12.30 ring my door for I staff say speek with reception.Reception she don't gave answer after I sayed write 13.00 clock

The location of the hotel was fantastic! All the important sights are very close. The Wi-Fi connection was decent. The room also comes with a kettle and fridge, so you can store snacks and enjoy a cup of tea in your free time. And the breakfasts are really good too.

There seems to be a ventilation issue in the bathroom: the smell of cigarettes lingers throughout the day. I believe it was coming not from the hotel, but from outside.

Been here previously which I liked so rebooked second time on my visit to Denizli. Surprised that they moved the restaurant which is well decorated & selection of buffet breakfast was really good. The staff were professional & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable. It’s centrally located closed to Basmane station & & buses are available. Highly recommended.

Location was very good, 5mins walk from the train station, perfect for a solo traveller arriving at night. Great as a base to explore Ephesus and Pammukkale which is reachable by train. Also walkable to Izmir's point of interests.

Room's window opens to a central open area that's possible to be broken into by climbing on aircon ledges. And the window doesnt have locks so i was afraid someone would come in the middle of the night (im solo), but nothing happened! I informed reception i do not want cleaning (there wasnt a working safe) but cleaning lady still came in.

The location of the hotel is good. On a side street off main road but close to transport links and close to old town. My room was very clean and air con was included. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Bathroom could be updated but it served its purpose. Water was hot and towels clean. I didn’t really like the breakfasts….. more geared up to Turkish guests but that’s understandable. There seemed a good range just not to my taste.
