The breakfast was excellent. Lovely and fresh. Lovely watermelon, orange and white melon, toast, salad, natural yoghurt, jams, honey. cherry coulis and strawberry coulis, marmalade, nutella, cereals, scrambled egg, chips hard boiled eggs, a good selection of cheeses, cucumber and tomatoes, chocolate croissants, tea and coffee, milk for cereals Madeira sponge cake ( small cubes), Also the scrambled egg would alternate so sometimes there would be omelette, fried eggs, or orange coloured rice with onion, or piers and egg. Sometimes feta pastry tubes filled with cheese instead of chips. All very delicious. Fresh orange juice was available at an extra cost. Also the grounds of the hotel are gorgeous with many exotic beautiful plants and trees. Many shaded areas to sit in. Good quality parasols to sit under the shade if required. Beautiful dining area by pool which is shaded. The bar is lovely and shaded too. Hotel on top of a small hill. Area very rural and quiet. Fabulous scenery of the mountain dotted with villas. We had top room so view from our balcony was stunning. The pool was spotlessly clean and inviting. The sunbeds are very comfortable. My partner got sunburnt and Nadi got Mehmet to drive us to next town to a pharmacy so I could buy cream. How kind is that ? The hotel offers airport shuttle. The driver was there to collect us. Transfer takes one and a half hours from Dalaman airport. Also we arrived late to check in as our flight was delayed in Uk. I messaged Nadi to inform him of this. He got his colleague Mehmet to stay up and wait for us. Thank you Nadi. How very kind. I recommend this hotel for a small friendly affordable little hotel in an excellent location. The village is beautiful with many affordable places to eat out. Village has beautiful shaded park to sit in. Wild roosters roam the park. Beach was nice a good 20 minute walk from hotel. Hotel offers shuttle service to beach. Have to pay to enter beach and pay for sunbeds and parasols.

I didn’t like fried eggs. Only issue the village could benefit by having a pharmacy.

The hotel is located on the edge of a small village in a quiet location, but it's close to the center. It was very peaceful, the guests were adults without children, mostly singles. Very pleasant territory of the hotel - lots of greenery, pets. Deep pool (but it was already very cold and closed early). Many thanks to the hosts for the offer to take me to the hotel from the main road (I took an intercity bus from Antalya, they drop me off at the turn to Patara - 3 km from the village).

The shower does not have any partition, the bathroom remains damp for a long time. The toilet drain is noisy. The room is poorly lit, which spoils the impression (although the room itself is spacious and pleasant). Audibility in the room (including the party could be heard from the other side of the village). The transfer from the hotel to Patara beach takes you once a day in the hottest time. You need to close all the windows, otherwise mosquitoes will come.

What a find. An absolutely immaculate hotel located in a cool little village close to Patara Beach. Outside is a lovely pool and beautifully tended gardens complete with hammocks and lounging areas. The rooms themselves are spotlessly clean, with balconies and nicely maintained bathrooms. The staff were incredible, even arranging to return the keys which we'd inadvertently taken with us from our previous hotel! The thatched bar area makes it really easy to chat to other guests, which gives the whole place a very laid back vibe. There are good eating options in the village about five minutes walk away (brace yourself for the walk back up the hill!) and Patara Beach itself is an easy ten minute drive. We've made some real finds on our travels around Turkiye, but the Golden Lighthouse is genuinely one of the best - definitely try to stay if you're in the area.

Absolutely nothing at all to dislike. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Try it - you won't be disappointed!

A great location for the tourist who avoids large resort complexes. The Golden Lighthouse Hotel is located in a beautifully maintained garden. Likewise, the pool is clean and very nice. The rooms are equipped with basic but sufficient furniture, including air conditioning and a refrigerator. We have to say a big thank you to the hotel staff: helpful, accommodating. There was always someone nearby who could help and advise. All the staff took care of maximum cleanliness, the rooms were cleaned every day. The breakfast assortment was repeated, but that didn't matter at all. Pastries, cheeses, eggs, muesli, yogurts, fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea and more. You could get to the sea on a beautiful sandy beach at regular times by hotel taxi (free of charge), or for a negligible amount of 20 Turkish lira by bus, or even on foot. The hotel also provided us with a transfer from the airport and back to the airport. The driver always picked us up at the exact time. The conclusion is clear: we do not regret choosing this hotel for our recreation and we are happy to recommend it to other tourists.

The Lighthouse is a small hotel in Patara with lovely grounds including a beautiful pool, eating area and bar area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, offering great advice and helping to arrange a few trips. Breakfast was really good...fresh and plenty of it. The room was very clean and spacious, with a small balcony and a fridge. Patara is small but offers plenty of dining options, bars and a few gift shops, all less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel. A very relaxing stay, and we’ll definitely be back.

The rooms/bathrooms are a little basic but perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable and changed daily.

I honestly almost don't want to write this review because Golden Lighthouse is so great I want to keep it for myself. it was our favourite of the three hotels we stayed in this trip, and we already loved the other two. The space, the decor, the pool ,the delicious breakfast - all perfect for us. The location just two minutes walk out of the village where there are several atmospheric and tasty places to eat, a short drive from one of the best beaches in the Med and an amazing set of Roman ruins. It's the perfect family holiday spot.

We loved everything - the only thing I'd have liked would have been cups as well as a kettle in the rooms. But we'll be back, it was amazing.

Golden Lighthouse is a small, modern hotel a few blocks outside the centre of tiny Patara town, a 5-minute walk to restaurants, the few shops in town, and the bus/dolmus stop. It has a nice large swimming pool, and the price is excellent. Although the staff was not as friendly as most we've experienced in Turkey, we were treated fairly and generously by the manager when we had to leave a day earlier than planned.

The typical Turkish breakfast could be a little more substantial.

There was a great breakfast, it was very close to the area in the center of town where all the restaurants are. The grounds are beautifully kept, and all the people that I met there seemed to be regulars and were all very polite and respectful. It was a nice quiet stay. You could also walk to some interesting ruins nearby and some sand dunes. Nice balconies and views of the mountains.

I liked everything about it.

Our room was airy, with comfy beds. A/C and good Wi-Fi. I loved the pool and terrace which were perfect in the super hot weather. Plenty of sun beds and parasols, palms for shade. Loved the milkshakes too. Good breakfast of different cooked food and salads, melon, cake, bread. We enjoyed the geese, cats and very friendly dog that just lounged. My son and I played giant chess. All friendly helpful team at the hotel

We would have liked more light in bedroom to read in the evening

Lovely shady gardens. Fabulous pool. Friendly staff. Great location, just short stroll away from centre of the village. Powerful aircon. Good shower pressure.

The mattresses were a little bit hard. The room was a bit too small, and didn’t really have enough room to organise all our stuff. Bathroom was small, too, but still great value for the price.
