The staff were incredibly gracious and accommodating. They helped us find another place when I made a mistake on the reservation. It was so helpful and kind. The staff also turned out laundry over when we were gone for the day which was so nice of them.

I didn't realize that there wouldn't be anyone at the front desk and so that was a challenge. The front door being a key system was a little tricky because we got locked out a few times. In one instance, someone else's key was already in the lock on the inside and we couldn't get in. In another instance, someone else's key was in the door on the outside and we couldn't get out. In another instance, the door was locked and I didn't have my key. A pin pad would be a great addition. Also, would have really appreciated a water filter and the remote for one of the ACs was missing so we had to take the key out lower the temp in that room.

Great location in the middle of town close to all restaurants and shops, yet still felt quiet and peaceful in the room and the leafy courtyard. 20 minute walk through town to our favourite beaches - big pebble and Incebogaz. Great transport links as bus stop only a few minutes away, we travelled to Kaputas beach and the Kas peninsula for <60lira. Spotlessly clean room with very comfy beds.

Slight lack of ventilation in bathroom as no window

Amazing property which is well built. The apartment is even better than the pictures. Well equipped in a nice street within walking distance from the beautiful market and sea side. Studio Apartment is well equipped with all the gadgets you need. It was such a great stay for me and my mother that we extended our stay by 1 day. Helpful staff but they leave by 6 PM.

Staff was helpful and carried our luggage and gave suggestions on places to visit but it would have been nicer if they could stay until 10 PM at the property.

Self catering apartment in the centre of the city, walking distance of everything. Well equipped kitchen with two plate cooker, microwave, fridge and dish washer. Airconditioning in the lounge-kitchen area and in the bedroom. Nice big bathroom with modern amenities. Parking available on the streets around the apartment. We never had a problem in finding parking. Very nice common area with seating.

TV with only Turkish and Russian programs is of no use to international tourists.

The room and the hotel were very nice and cozy. We had a small kitchen and could cook food every day. Though the room was a bit smaller than it seemed on the photos, there was enough space for 5 members of our family. The location is great - very close to everything you need in Kas. But we struggled with parking - I guess it’s a common problem in the center of Kas. Thanks for hospitality! I would define recommend others to stay at Mare Nostrum.

Parking problem

I have stayed in a number of places in central Kas over the years and this hotel is the best one so far. It shows that the owners care. We stayed in the room with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen and it was clean, had all the basic things like blankets, shower gel, garbage bags etc. The inner yard is beautiful, the washing and drying machines are easily accessible - all in all loved to stay in this place

The location was perfect: three supermarkets within 3 minutes walking and both the beach and the town at walking distance. The seperate airconditioners for bedroom and living room were very welcome. The kitchen and utensils were very basic but enough to prepare yourself a simple meal. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and I also loved the soap, body wash and shampoo provided.

The wifi was horrible and the bed was a bit stiff for my taste.

Mare Nostrum exceeded our expectations, it was exactly as described- a wonderful, well kitted out, central apartment. Excellent location, right in the centre of town, close to atms, grocery stores, the bust stop etc. The hosts were attentive, welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. We managed to lock ourselves out of our apartment and the staff had it sorted within an hour - and handled it so graciously!! The apartment had everything we needed and more - well designed rooms with Aircon, even a dishwasher in the kitchen! Would highly recommend as an accommodation option! Thank you for making our stay in Kas so special!

We checked in at 7. But they had nobody in the reception. The reception supposedly shuts down at 6. And it’s really dark in the common area of the apartment . They do give us a key to the main entrance. But it’d be better to have someone in person at the place for any assistance

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. The host was very pleasant and kind. It's conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from the main city activities and 2 minutes from delightful breakfast cafes. The room is well-equipped for cooking if needed. I was particularly impressed with the perfect bathroom – I haven't seen anything like it in Turkey, complete with warm flooring. I recommend choosing a room on the first floor (ground floor in Turkey), as it offers additional space on the balcony. Enjoy your stay!
