Very convenient and safe location. Very friendly front desk staff, initiated extra help and kindness. Very calm and lush environment despite being in a big city. Have nice and friendly priced food options. I now stayed in a regular room, but if I come back to Kampala and it won't be for work, I would love to book one of the cottages.

Breakfast is a bit limited from a western point of view, but considering the local customs it is a good breakfast. Can be noisy at night because of the live music venues in the area.

Well,the place is Eco friendly which makes its incredibly beautiful since its so close to Town, lose to the bars,clubs,mallls,super market,hosipital, Kampala city is in the range of (12,000-15,000 ugx ) with an UBER drive. The running showers had hot water. Food was incredibly alot and nice, there was that waitress i dint get her name but she has good customer care.

Well, the bed was always very cold through our stay and the place has so many snails even our bed room they were there and they really made us uncomfortable,(Cabin 5) I dont know wether its because of the coldness but atleast they shoudnt be in the bedrooms (arrhh)

The facilities and the access to the Kabira country club. The breakfast is a bonus.

The room states that it contains a dishwasher, cutlery and cooking appliances. These were not available. I was charged for the milk that I requested for the complimentary tea. There are no tea or coffee-making facilities in the Apple Lodge room. Half of the staff are not even aware of the family 3 bedroom "Apple". The room does not provide the amenities mentioned.

The team at forest cottages was OUTSTANDING!! They always have a massive smile on their faces, always saying hello or good morning. They really looked after us and we were with my 1 year old. The live band on Friday was so much fun and the pool was in a lovely area! We stayed in 2 different rooms and they were both gorgeous but very kid friendly due to a lot of wood in the rooms but if we aren’t with a little one then it’s absolutely beautiful.

I didn’t like the breakfast apart from the chef that did amazing eggs! The breakfast needs switching up a lot!

We loved everything about the property. It is not a “luxury” property, but it is more than we dreamed of in the way of staff, food and just a great experience. We woke up every morning to an excellent breakfast and had dinner every evening when we returned, I don’t know what was better, the service or food. There were events there our whole stay, a wedding the second night and on Saturday there were 2 weddings. The staff was extremely busy setting up three weddings and never missed a beat in serving us. They worked long, hard hours and kept the famous smile. The only warning I have is that if there is a wedding, there will be extremely loud music. We did not mind, as we loved watching and seeing everyone so happy and celebrating.

Location wise the place is excellent very close to social amenities and other places that can be explored like sister place Kabira County club.. The Skyz the Patio and pork joint place and so many others.

Room service was a bit slow as we ordered our supper at 19.30 pm we had to remind staff to bring the food which we received at 22.30pm . But the rest of the service was excellent.

Good breakfast, very good location. Easy to access. Shady, quiet & beautiful environment.. you wouldn’t think you were so close to busy roads. Peaceful place for meetings. Bonus of swimming pool. Very good value. Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Good bed linen. Much more enjoyable than bland corporate hotels!

The cottage is quite dated but still charming .. some furniture needs attention.

It’s in the middle of the City and very Green

Almost all was good, mosquito nets could be bigger and I was missing a power Plug on the lower Level of the cottages

Breakfast was great. Free (good) internet. Pool table. Good dinner options. Clean 2-floor room. Good location in the city. Enough parking facilities.

The bed was a bit short. The tiles in the room give it a bit dark/cold character. Unfortunately, no microwave or cutlery in the room.

I loved the cottage I stayed in, the most special type of accommodation I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was great and I loved the surroundings. were beautiful. Appreciated the free access to the pool at Kabira country club as the pool at forest cottages is small and full of children most of the time which made it difficult to swim.

It can be a bit loud at night, both from traffic and music playing, it’s good to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
