I found my experience at Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz to be truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The value for the price exceeded my expectations, offering an array of activities to enjoy. The culinary offerings were exquisite, and the attentive staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I am grateful for having chosen this establishment and would highly recommend it to others seeking a memorable stay.

Opting for a club level room seemed like a good choice until I arrived and realized there was a lively club directly above, making it difficult to sleep due to the noise. Despite this inconvenience, the setup might suit those on vacation rather than those like myself who were primarily there for study and work purposes. Nevertheless, apart from that issue, every other aspect of my experience was exceptional – from the attentive staff and excellent service to the delicious food, well-appointed room, thorough cleaning, and overall ambiance.

My third time in Kampala and this time in this hotel. I was absolutely thrilled. I spent 5 nights there. The staff is super friendly. Everything is clean and the breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for. The rooftop bar is just brilliant and highly recommended. The view over Kampala is a dream. Plus a delicious drink and great food. That's all you need.

The wifi is sometimes weak. But I don't think that has anything to do with the hotel.

The staff are friendly and professional, very helpful whenever needed. The location is also excellent and the hotel is very safe. The reception is manned 24/7 so there is someone to help if needed any time. The rooms are very clean and housing keeping is brilliant.

I was offered a room different from what I booked. I had no views at all despite paying a premium price. I was offered to be moved but it was too late by this point.

The location is strategic with stunning view, security and easily accessible to town. Exceptional breakfast varieties with stunning view. I looked forward to having breakfast and African tea with my friends. Overall, the staff were professional and friendly. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel as I experienced the lovely night band performance, wellness Spa and gorgeous roof top bar. I can't thank the hotel employees enough for their kindness and hospitality from the Operation Manager Davis Mugabi;FoH team- Hajarah, Steven, Patrick and Vianey; Catering and FnB service team- Salim, David, phiona, loyce. My First trip to Uganda was wonderful and can't wait to return.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in while visiting Uganda. The staff was amazing from the time I arrived for check-in until the time I check-out. The breakfast was awesome. The offer a variety of food and fresh fruit and juices. The security there was top notch and very professional. The gym was amazing and the spa was mind blowing.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, there was a hand print on the shower and there was dirty water residue in the basin. The catch on the balcony door was broken, and there was access to the balcony from the adjoining room - The good thing was that as soon as I informed the front desk they came and permanently locked it

The day I arrived there was a private party around the pool that was very very loud and went from midafternoon to quite late. I was exhausted but couldn’t sleep. Live band on Thursday was very good but also loud!

Food is very good, pool area is nice. the disco kept very one awake though. bed was super comfortable, enough powerpoints, nice big window with mozzie screen

the shower water was luke warm. it could have been increased in temperature. the disco kept us all awake.

This establishment is a very well run and managed property. The staff makes a huge impression with their friendliness and willingness to ensure that residents are well looked after. I have stayed in many 5 star establishments all over the world but this establishment truly shows that the people of the establishment is the difference. Thank you to everyone and a special note of thanks goes to Chef Manoj Ganmote for making me one of the best meals (Nile Tilapia with vegetables) I have eaten during my travels over the years. I was blown away by the service and friendliness of the staff.

This hotel was amazing for the price I paid. The location was perfect. The staff is what made this hotel one of a kind. The people there are very friendly and they made sure you had everything you needed to enjoy your stay.
