If I ever return to Kampala, I would stay here every time. After returning from a 12 day safari, this was a very comfortable stay. The bed was big and comfortable with cold AC. The staff made it exceptional. Miria, the manager, always made sure I was ok…Tracy at the front desk was very helpful anytime I had questions, and Janet with housekeeping was so friendly. Acacia Mall is within short walking distance and has nice restaurants and cafes, a Carrefour, and good shopping. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and a menu to order from. The lunch and dinner menu are nice as well.

The shower only had lukewarm water when I first checked in but as soon as I mentioned it to Miria, the problem was resolved. Also, the shower needs to be sprayed with some bleach to kill the mildew around the caulking.

Have stayed here many times, Great location for what we needed. Down the street from Acacia Mall. Good access to any public transportation as well, including SafeCar or SafeBoda. Fairly quiet and restul stay. Thankful we had the sofa bed to sleep one of my two kids, as it would have been cramped for all three in a queen size bed. Good breakfast, nice staff

That they still haven’t gotten an electronic machine for payment using American credit/debit cards. Had some issues with our AC unit and tv turning on/off constantly throughout our 4-day stay.

I’ve stayed at least 20 times here and always come back. Location, staff, food, management.. they truly are all around a great hotel and very convenient for majority of your needs. They’re like a 10 min walk away from Acacia Mall and so many other lovely shops and restaurants as well. They’re easy to find by SafeBoda or any taxi. They also have taxi services if needed. They’re easy have private parking as well and good and clean hotel amenities as well.

The breakfast was nice with very nice service including coffee drinks on order and eggs cooked to order. The restaurant has an extensive menu with a wide variety of options. The room and check-in were excellent and the staff were helpful. The airport pickup went smoothly. The location is convenient to the mall and the city but this means that the area is somewhat noisy and busy. It is difficult to walk along the road due to traffic, poor road maintenance and parking alongside the road.

This is now my favorite hotel in Kampala (having stayed at a couple of others over the years.) The staff was extraordinarily warm and friendly, and our room could not have been more comfortable. We ate from the Indian side of the menu for both lunch and dinner, and everything we tasted was delicious. We also appreciated how close the hotel is to the spiffy Acacia shopping mall — just a few short blocks.

The only tiny improvements we would make would be to provide a mat for the shower (which is kind of slippery) and some wall hooks (always cherished by travelers). But even so, this place is close to perfect, at a very reasonable price.

The Millennium Terrace Hotel is my choice stay when in Kampala. I have returned 3 or 4 times. This time I tried out the roof top bar for food. It was very good.

At the roof top bar they provide the hukka pipes. This is a put-off in that everyone gets the smoke. These days I don't think it is such a good idea.

Great location! The main shopping areas are a 10min walk or 2 min boda ride. Great and helpful staff!! The manager was very accommodating and helpful as well! Clean rooms, love that they have an elevator as well. Makes it convenient for shopping and getting to your rooms quicker. They have a decent breakfast but very nice that you can get espresso or cappuccino as well.

Breakfast was good. The receptionist was very nice. We used the hotel for an overnight stop after landing in Entebbe at midnight. They arranged for a shuttle, which was punctual and fast. The bed was comfortable.

I keep writing this, but for some reason a warm shower in Uganda, even in upscale hotels, is never guarantied. We did not have hot water. After a long day of traveling, we were just hoping to get few hours of quality sleep. Also, this may not be the hotel's fault, they do not have rooms with two beds (at least that's what I was told). I thought I booked two beds; could be my mistake. Pay attention.

The staff were good and helpful. Breakfast could be better though, it would have been nice to have more cereal options for people who do not want to have a cooked breakfast.

I think for the rating if hotel that it is, it was good.

Super friendly and helpful staff. They helped me print a document I needed for my visa, arranged a 3am shuttle to the airport, and even sent a packed breakfast with me, even though it was the middle of the night. The room was also very clean and comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, even though it's a busy area. Good location close to Acacia Mall and surrounding shops/restaurants.
