Staff was very friendly and helpful. It had a well stocked little grocery store and several good restaurants within walking distance of the property.

I didn’t like the extra fees to use the facilities like the indoor pool or the gym. These things should be included in the price of the room. You really need a car to go anywhere or you’re going to spend a fortune on taxis. We took the train and uber from Malaga and it took 90 minutes. We would stay closer to Malaga next time.

It is absolutely recommended hotel, which has very good value for price. We rented a car, so the location didn,t couse problem for us but there was nothing nearby.

Without a car the location is not the best.

A very nice affordable hotel overall, for a family with 2 young kids. We visited in February so low season, the outdoor pool was open, but of course not heated, and the indoor pool was just perfect for us. The kids loved it. There is a charge of 10 eur per room/pr. day for using the indoor pool. We tried the spa area too, but unfortunately, as others have mentioned, the sauna was not hot enough. We had a rented car so it was very easy to access the hotel, and because of the period we visited in, plenty of parking available. The beach is 1 min walk from the reception, so that’s very convenient for the summer time. We liked the apartment, it was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable and a very nice balcony. We also appreciated that we could project netflix on the tv (compared to other hotels where the tv’s are still very old and can’t be used for much). The hotel organizes activities for kids (even in low season), but we haven’t managed to attend any unfortunately so we don’t know how good they are. The reception staff was super helpful and friendly. Overall, we would definitely visit again!

The spa area is very nice but the fact that the sauna is not hot enough it’s just so disappointing. Our last night in the hotel was very noisy, you can hear anyone sitting on their balconies and talking in the night time, which on a weekend day will be very loud and will go on throughout the night 😅 I would guess it’s even worse in mid july when the hotel is packed. We didnt get much sleep before driving to the airport. Not a complaint but maybe worth mentioning.

Feels safe. Super friendly staff especially at the front desk. Best accommodation I've ever stayed in regarding size, equipment provided, service, two patios, two full bathrooms). The pools are lovely and deep. The 2nd pool is so peaceful surrounded by trees. Kids spent hours here. The restaurant was very good as were the staff. Everything is spotless. Very comfortable beds and room sizes. Air con and stair gate. Easy to set up sofa bed. Towel changes, extra sheets and pillows. Sustainability is excellent. Some laundry and dishwasher pods provided, tea/coffee, coffee filters.

Spent a bit on taxis into Cala de Mijas/Fuengirola/ Mijas in the evenings & days out. Had intended to stay and relax but family joined us so our needs changed. Location is great if you just want to stay here and switch off.

Love this place, has lots around it, like walking to both La Cala and Fuengirola. Comfy beds, everything you need.

The fee for using the gym, it's a daily charge for only 90minutes, on rainy or cool days, it's great to pop in and use it, but it was too expensive... hopefully they'll stop the charge.

Another great visit making this either our 5th or 6th occasion visiting, staff make the difference, Natalie as always very helpful, Charlie on reception was great. Indoor pool was good to use to get some swimming in. Massage lady as always was lovely and made use of this facility. Punjab Palace up the road was great, La Calas and Fuengirola were good to visit again and only 10 euro in the taxi.

Maybe some of the kids activities were missing ie. Cinema where they screen a film for the children and give them popcorn. The pool bar closing at 7pm did not encourage any evening to stay open a bit later for adults to enjoy a cocktail or 2. Restaurant taken over by a new company and early days and hopeful the menu will be expanded to include a bit more variety like the last supplier, surprised they did not have English breakfast tea available on the menu. Was a bit earlier in the year (Easter Half Term) this time for our trip as the price jumps considerably in May half term which meant the weather was not as warm and leaving the pool fairly cold and some rainy days.

Excellent property, amazing 2 bedroomed apartment was like a home from home. Beautiful garden at the back, with sun loungers and chairs. Balcony upstairs with table and chairs. Bathroom upstairs with bath and shower, bathroom downstairs with shower. Filtered free drinking water at kitchen sink. Staff are amazing! Excellent pool areas, activities for kids, tennis courts and basketball courts onsite.

Only problem was the location. It’s a bit isolated, situated about 3km from Fuengirola to the east and Mijas to the west. No promenade, instead there’s a pathway each side of a busy twin lane highway. However there’s an excellent and frequent bus service, the train service to Malaga begins in Fuengirola.

Staff excellent, very welcoming , friendly and helpful. The electric bed, raise head or feet. Apartment incredibly clean, good kitchen facilities, and sufficient room .

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, so this not a criticism, but the A7 auto via is very close , you cannot hear the road noise, at the hotel, but access to it is tricky, the traffic is fast coming around a bend and there is no slip road. You have to stop then get up to 80kms in double fast time. That will be common feature along the entire costa del sol so has nothing to do with the hotel.

Our stay at Los Amigos Beach Club was truly enjoyable. The comfort of the accommodations exceeded our expectations spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The beds were especially comfortable, and the facilities, including the pool and common areas, added to the overall experience. In terms of value for money, this place is outstanding. The quality of the amenities and the level of service provided were exceptional for the price we paid. It’s clear that Los Amigos Beach Club prioritizes guest satisfaction, making it an excellent choice for a budget-friendly yet high-quality stay. We highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again!

Our room was ground floor with the sun on it pretty much all day. Nice sized one bed apartment with a well stocked kitchen ( inc.washing machine and dryer). On site bar and restaurant was good with reasonable priced food and live entertainment most nights. Car parking (which has become a modern nightmare in some places ) was free and convenient. Pool was a good size. Just a shade chilly but once I’d thrashed around for a while it was fine. There’s a strip of bars and shops very close but no beach access. La Cala and Fuengirola are a drive or cab away . This is our third visit and we’re booking up for next year. Reasonably priced and not too overcrowded.

This year they started charging for the indoor pool, which felt a bit unreasonable.
