The property itself is very decent value for your money, but what made our stay exceptional was the english speaking concierge George. He brought our experience to a new level as he always knew the best activities for any given weather and day. He knows every attraction around the place and will secure you better prices than you can get anywhere else. If you want to do anything special like a boat trip, he is somehow able to arrange things within minutes. I would book the hotel again any day to have an exceptional concierge like him.

Restaurant is a bit pricey and the ordinary meals are not what I would expect for the price.

The place is just perfectly located on the center of all local attractions. A number of free-food sessions is included in the price of a room on ‘elite’ 5th floor, and this price is quite low for what you get. Staff is super friendly and willing to help, though, could be better English-speaking.

Breakfast could be more adapted for Europeans - it’s quite limited for our tastes, but the place is much more attended by Chinese tourists, therefore, I understand the hotel’s politics.

Breakfast was very good! And location was amazing--about a 15 minute walk to the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest. And the staff was very helpful, especially in giving tips for our itinerary and having a van and driver available when we requested.

The only downside was the separation between the bathroom and bedroom was a wooden shutter which you could kind of see through and hear through.

Almost 40-50 minutes from Zhangjiajie airport, with Didi, walking distance (15-20min) from East Gate Entrance to Zhangjiajie Natural Park, a convenient location to stay when visiting Avatar Mountain's. Large, comfortable room, extra large bed, bathroom with buthhub for feet and body relaxation after a walking day. Diversified breakfast, also with local, non-spicy food.

The location was great, walking distance from the park east entrance. The outdoor swimming pool was good and clean. Breakfast was fine.

The gym was small, old and some machines were broken and not well maintained. Policy to go and order western food in restaurant after 9 pm is discrimination.

In walking distance to the east gate. The pool was lovely. There is also a little shop in the hotel to buy shoes/hats or other small things for a hike which was nice. There is even a shop to help you buy tickets for the mountain/park nearby. The staff were very kind and helpful, they helped us book a taxi back to the train station.

We had a great stay and that was mainly thanks to the staff. Anne at the reception and Miranda over messages were amazing. Miranda arranged a birthday cake for my husband to be delivered to our room, which was amazing and delicious. We had a very nice view and a great stay. Thank you very much once again, ladies.

Breakfast tends to get crowded at the early hours with all the tour buses leaving early.

Great location near to East Gate of the yangjiajie park. There is a travel agency in the hotel managed by Mr Zhu. He was most helpful in arranging all the trips to the park for our four days in Zhangjiajie. A big word of thanks to him. Overall, an excellent stay in the hotel.
