The location is excellent, close to shopping areas and restaurants, and within walking distance of the Convention Center. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

I assumed there would be a stove when I made the booking, but unfortunately, there isn't one. I had planned to cook breakfast. Additionally, the view from our room is disappointing, all we see is a roof cluttered with discarded shoes, clothes, and other trash. We didn't use the balcony because the view isn't appealing.

Luana Waikiki Hotel & Suites has very nice rooms and we had a nice view of the Ocean. The hotel gym was decent and staff were all very helpful. Location is good and only a short walk through the park to the beach. They also run several free events for guests staying there like a weekly wine and cheese.

There are quite a few homeless people in the area which can result in the neighborhood streets getting very dirty and being threatened or shouted at etc. That is not the hotels problem, it is a problem in Oahu in general, but the street they are located on seems particularly bad for central Waikiki.

The location is a little further away from the hustle & bustle of Waikiki beach, which was perfect for us. The distance is easily walkable though. The room was spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped. I wish they had a microwave or kettle that could have been used to boil water. Both Waikiki Beach and Ala Moana Beach is in walking distance.

One of our room views was good the other was ok. Liked having a full kitchen. The valet guys, bellman and most front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.

We ran out of shampoo, conditioner, soap. When we ask for the items the cleaning staff said they were going on break and couldn't get it until after their break, even though they were coming out of another room. The woman's bathroom at the pool wouldn't open. Don't like to have to pay for valet, wish we could have parked our own car. Don't like that you can't ask for a late checkout until the morning of so you still have to pack your bags just in case. The pillows were hard and beds weren't comfortable.

Restaurants near the hotel were hard to get into - reservation a necessity at this time of year.

The apartment was clean and serviced every second day. Housekeeping was responsive. Location was as great with an ABC store just across the street and close to other shops within 5-10 minutes walk. Small pool but 7-10 minutes walk to Waikiki beach. Staff were all friendly. We would highly recommend this place. It was worth the money and they were able to accommodate for an early check in for a fee as our flight came in before 6am which helped a great lot. Thank you Luana team for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Great location. We were offered a paid upgrade to a room with kitchen for 9 usd per night, and it was definitely worth it. The kitchen was packed with quality tools in excellent condition (zwilling cutlery, kitchenaid pans, villeroy & boch plates, etc). The room also had incredible view.

There is a construction next to the building, so it was sometimes loud in the room. but since we were out most of the time, we were mostly unbothered by it. There is paid valet-only parking at the hotel. While we were staying it was around 40 usd per day - which is a bit on the expensive side. But you can go in and out as much as you want.

This hotel is in a good location if you don't plan on using a car but just going to the beach and walking around the area. There is a military museum right next to the hotel as well as lots of shops and cafes. The room we had was spacious and comfortable with a great selection of TV channels, of course if you're staying in a hotel room although I don't think anyone would stay in a room when in Hawaii. Even though we were on a lower floor and the room faced the street we didn't hear too much noise. The room was clean and had everything you needed to cook basic meals, a small kitchen with everything you need. The pool is ok but you have to be careful if you're not a swimmer as one part is shallow and then you go straight into the deeper part. The gym is small but has everything you need to stay in shape. You also have a barbecue area which I highly recommend as you can have a barbecue with your family and enjoy the view of the park. The hotel staff are excellent and all praise for them. If all hotels had such smiling and helpful staff, no hotel guest would ever be dissatisfied with the service. They deserve all the praise and a pay raise.

This hotel was perfect for me. The location is easily walkable to everything while being a little quieter than being right in the middle of Waikiki. The rooms are much lovelier than I expected from the photos, and have a great Hawaiian feel. Well equipped kitchenette and I loved the lei making class on Monday. Just an overall really nice vibe here. I work in accommodation and hospitality and highly recommend.

There is some demolition work going on next door which may bother you if you are on that side on a lower floor. The hotel can’t do anything about this though, and I was out during the day so it didn’t worry me at all.

Clean comfortable rooms and bed, great facilities and staff, location, so great we came back after a week at the end of our trip before flight home.
