I like the location. Neighborhood. Convenience of public transit. Rooms are reasonably appointed..

Communication regarding my 3 separate reservations (only way to get best rate so frustrating) was problematic. I spoke with a few employees about needing to stay in same room, not be disturbed after a film shoot all night, about bulb out in bathroom. Yet I was disturbed the one day of my 3 day stay I needed not to be. Some staff incredibly pleasant and helpful. Some not. Seriously over marked up prices in the convenience mart. $4 for a candy bar? Seriously? More options for tea would be nice. Actual milk options for coffee and tea (so no need to purchase expensive milk)and better sugar would be nice. Access to filtered water refilling would be nice in the lobby. Jacuzzi would be nice.

Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, water was hot, toiletries available on pumps in the shower. Breakfast was reasonably priced and there was plenty of variety. The location is fantastic for transport, Coolidge cinema, plenty of excellent restaurants and bars and a fantastic bookstore.

There was an issue with TV reception on our last day. All of the other days it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights. The pool was on the small side. Everything else was good.

Location was great. Stores and restaurants in easy walking distance. The staff was very helpful. Particularly appreciated the staff in the restaurant. Extremely helpful, efficient and pleasant. Front desk was also very nice

The heating system could use an overhaul. There was a forceful blowing of cold air even when the fan was set to low. The hall from the elevator to the room on the 3rd floor was cold. The lighting wasn’t great in the room. Definitely could use more light.

perfect location to all restaurants and shops of all kinds, to Boston, Cambridge or Newton, and right on the T. It's where to park your car beyond 2 hours, to use public transportation or ubers/taxis, that the big challenge.

Hotel PARKING rate - REQUIRED WAS $50 per night!!!! That made the stay less of a value! Parking is required because there is no on street overnight parking in Brookline.

Brookline is a very nice area. Great for walking around. Lots of places to eat, shops, etc. There is a T line almost right in front of the hotel if you want to go into the older parts of Boston for leisure or work. It’s just a short train ride down to the Common for example.

There was nothing that I disliked about the hotel. The rooms were fine. It definitely met my expectations for the type of hotel it is. I have no complaints.

cleaning isn’t done properly. we’ve stayed 11 nights, and the wall-to-wall carpet in the room wasn’t vacuumed even once. behind the big chair we found leftovers from the previous occupants. also the corridors were not cleaned often enough

Staff was cheerful, kind, friendly, & willing to help me in any way they could. The grab & go snack area had an especially good selection of items, including fresh sandwiches & salads. This hotel gave me an accessible room when I asked for it, which made my stay much easier. I'm a highly satisfied customer!

Location , staff were certainly some of the pluses.Daily housekeeping was great too . Here must add … the room we stayed in needed a bit of deep cleaning … like behind the study table and the chest of drawers (inside) had a lot of dust.

The room was very nice, like how it was setup, clean, lots of space. Parking was convienant but costly. I liked the fact food was readly available on site. Staff were helpful regardless of the question. You are understaff, as is the entire world, but they worked hard to provide us what we needed.

The price of parking. But very convienant to use. The dinner choices were not all that good. Breakfast choices were good. Otherwise the stay, how the hotel operates is very good.

It was a quiet and clean property with a common area outside to relax.

The TV in room 219 did not work. You could turn it on, but none of the channels were viewed due to 1 million lines on them. It also would’ve been nice to have had complementary hot coffee downstairs that was free instead of paid.
