We had a truly enjoyable stay at Amara Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and pleasant. Our room was very clean and spacious, providing plenty of comfort throughout our stay. The bathroom was spotless, and we especially appreciated the daily supply of fresh bottled water a thoughtful touch that made a big difference in the Bangkok heat. Breakfast each morning was tasty with a good variety of options, and the hotel staff were consistently helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is another big plus. There are plenty of shops nearby, a 7-Eleven just around the corner, and the Patpong Night Market is only about a 10-minute walk away. There’s even a massage salon conveniently located across the street – perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring. Overall, Amara Bangkok delivered on cleanliness, comfort, and service. We’d gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok!

The only downside to our stay was that we arrived early and, unfortunately, early check-in wasn’t available at the time. It would have been great to settle in after a long journey, but we understand that this can happen when rooms aren’t ready yet. Overall, Amara Bangkok delivered on cleanliness, comfort, and service. We’d gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok!

Perfect location! Beautiful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I was scammed by a tour company that had nothing to do with them, but they spent a great deal of time helping me. They offered great suggestions for things to do in the area and made everything so easy. Even little things like calling a taxi and negotiating with them. Everyone seemed so happy and so happy to serve you including the bar staff at the rooftop pool. It is clear that this place is well managed and treats their employees well by the way, they treat their customers.

I wish I would’ve booked my stay there for longer. I’ve stayed in several areas of Bangkok and this was a wonderful place, so comfortable and enjoyable.

The rooms are very spacious and they provide all the amenities (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.). Breakfast is large and tastes great with lots of options

The rooftop pool is quite small and can get crowded from people outside the hotel coming to the pool bar. Often smells strongly of smoking. Quite the opposite of a relaxing pool vibe.

I l in this hotel, in total 5 nights at the beginning and 2 nights at the end 5 of the 3 weeks I was in Thailand , we loved our stay in Amara , everything was excellent, location, cleanliness, they were very friendly, kind, and sweet specially whith my daughter 4 years old , they kept my luggage for us , at no cost until I returned after 2 weeks because I went to the North of the country ,,,The staff luggage and recepción best of the best , 10/10 especially miss Nimmie ❤️ I will definitely return, a place to repeat!!! Good bed and shower water pressure. Close to restaurants, cafes and going out area. Beautiful view from the rooftop where the swimming pool and bar are.

Nothing in the room’s fridge but water. Minimum toiletries and of bad quality: diluted wash gel. No coffee in the room . Disappointing

Ive been to Bangkok many many times now and this is easily the best hotel I've stayed at so far. Its a shame I had to knock it down 1 point as otherwise it would be a 10 for me. The rooms were superb, the location is perfect and the staff just couldn't do enough.

The main draw back is the pool area. Whilst it is beautiful with amazing views it is way too small with not nearly enough sun lungers. We only ate a few times but the food was mediocre at best and overpriced for what it was. I think we paid £10 for a pizza one day and to claim it was a pizza was an overstatement. Im back in bangkok next year and I really wanted to rebook this hotel but I decided against simply because of the pool area.

Good location. Close to Chong Nonsi BTS where you can get to pier for river cruise etc. Breakfast was delicious. Our view on the 24th floor was outstanding. We had club membership for happy hour drinks and nibbles 5-7 pm. The service was excellent especially Noon.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great food and overall a great experience.

While there, we had an earthquake, which of course isn't the hotels fault however it wasn't as clear and apparent where the stairs were on the rooftop pool bar, this should be marked more clearly. In addition we received a phone call within 30 minutes of us getting back to our room once it was safe to do so, to pay our rooftop bar bill, which totalled around 400 baht (£8ish). We would always pay our way but felt this wasn't great customer service so shortly after the event. All of this being said, it was a crazy experience and I do want to praise all the staff for how they reacted and looked after us.

The hotel room was spacious as also the bathroom. We found the room was quiet, but we did experience difficulty in getting the room cool. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The roof top bar and pool was lovely with spectacular city views. However, it was a small area with a mix of sunbeds and tables tightly together. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Roof top bar area is small and it gets very busy. Tables and sunbeds are very close with little space. Smoking is permitted which is unpleasant when trying to eat. The majority of people were smoking when we were trying to enjoy some relaxation.

Very friendly front desk staff, housekeeping staff, and bell hop. Room was modern, clean, and well-appointed with many toiletries, free water, and firm comfortable bed. Shower was particularly spacious and comfortable. Rooftop bar and pool also great. Excellent location - close to the night market and entertainment areas for easy walk home at night, and about a thirty minute walk to MBK Center, Paragon Siam, and shopping districts. Short MRT/BTS rides to other places of interest.

Pool deck area could be bigger with a proper redesign. There were only 8 sun loungers however it can support more if redesigned correctly. Pool ladder always seemed like it was about to break, it definitely needs to be checked and reinforced for proper safety standards. The gym was lacking - more machines could be brought in to hit a wider audience. Most annoying were the elevators. One was always reserved/out of service which left one regular and one express for the rooftop - this meant waiting for an elevator could take over 15 minutes - extremely frustrating for guests.
