The owners are incredibly friendly. They welcome you and ensure you have a wonderful stay. We stayed in the top room, and it was very warm, partly due to the unusually hot weather. This didn't spoil our enjoyment. The rooms weren't very large, but they were nicely furnished, clean, and tidy. We could use the terrace with its beautiful view whenever we wanted. The well-prepared breakfast was excellent and homely. We could even charge our car! The road to the location was very narrow, but after a few tries, we got used to it. We would love to come back again. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Such a lovely family really made us feel welcome in their beautiful home. The full English breakfast was delicious and prepared once you were at the table so nice and fresh, with a lovely view to look at while you ate. Loved that you shared the large dining table with the other guests so you got to meet and chat with them. We had a loft room which was on the small size but was nicely furnished and very clean with house keeping every day. Very peaceful location down a narrow country lane with just the sound of sheep in the fields, but also close enough by car to nearby villages and towns. We really enjoyed our stay.
Because our room was in the loft space we did bang our heads on the sloping ceiling a lot especially in the bathroom but it was probably because we weren't used to it.

Our stay was almost like going to stay at a friend's house. Sarah was great with communication and responded quickly to any requests; the greeting was personal and the farmhouse was lovely, with great views over their farm and the valley beyond. The Welsh cooked breakfast was lovely, with local produce freshly prepared and a shared table to chat with other guests
Our room was in the top of the house, with sloped ceilings. As I'm quite tall, I repeatedly banged my head on ceilings and the windows when opened for ventilation. The shower proved a bit "lively" as the heater was intermittent and alternated a nice temperature with unheated cold water

A perfect location in a beautiful, tranquil, idyllic setting. The accommodation was furnished so tastefully, was wonderfully comfortable and immaculately clean. It complemented the Welsh scenery perfectly. Our host, Colin, gave us such a warm welcome and did everything to make our stay really memorable, including the delicious hearty breakfasts. We both agreed The Celyn was the best B and B in the world we have stayed at. As a Canadian driver the narrow lanes to the property were somewhat intimidating, but certainly worth it. Wales at its best.
Absolutely nothing. We would recommend Colin and The Celyn without any reservation whatsoever.

The hosts Paul, Sarah, and their boys were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home and gave us some great recommendations on what to see and do. The house was beautifully kept, comfortable, and have everything that you need. The bath was perfect after a big day hiking Sugarloaf Mountain (which the property overlooks) and the bed super comfortable. We loved how remote the place felt and enjoyed driving or hiking the local area to explore. A very serene getaway if you’re needing to escape the city!
Nothing - it was fantastic.

The room was super comfortable and the views from both sides were beautiful. The hosts were so nice and welcoming, they really made us feel at ease and at home. We followed their recommendations for places to eat and everything they recommended was fantastic! The breakfasts were also exceptional.
There was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, which was fine because we had accidentally bought some with us - we did think it was unclear whether this would have been provided.

The house is very newly built to a very high standard of finish hence the need to take your outside shoes off before going upstairs. It is quite isolated and the approach is through very narrow lanes. However it is all worth it all because the countryside and views are spectacular. Sarah and Paul were very lovely people with a young family. Breakfast was a splendid array of choices and you sit down at a large table with the other guests. We only ever did this before in South Africa, and it is so much more friendly than sitting at individual tables with your back to everyone. It would have been nice to stay longer but we were only there one night to visit relatives nearby.
Nothing it was all good

The property and surrounding area is lush and so well-maintained. I felt I was in a storybook page out of an English novel. Hosts Sarah and Paul, and Sarah's father were so warm and hospitable. Paul helped us plan a detailed itinerary and Sarah answered every query promptly. Bed was was comfy, and the loft room was cozy and perfect for me and my daughter. Breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious. Paul also heated our takeaway dinner for us and served it to us in their home crockery.
Bathroom is very compact. Basin is tiny! Could do with more hooks around the room. And a large looking mirror. Maybe if there is not enough space in the room, you could put it outside the room door on the side wall opposite the staircase?

Beautiful dual aspect room with a fabulous view, well appointed, cosy & very clean. Breakfast was good, choice was what you'd generally expect, water & tea/coffee in the room.
Window in our bathroom wouldn't open & the tv didn't work sadly. We were treated warmly by the owners father in law who was delightful, but would have liked a welcome from the owners later on, as we didn't quite know where to go to address the window & tv issues.

Location was ideal for us it is rural and quiet with excellent views and great walks and bike rides straight from the B&B. The hosts are very attentive and friendly and helpful. The room was airy and light and warm and has plenty of space for clothing and bags. Cooked breakfast was perfect and made with really good quality ingredients.
Some of the access roads to the B&B are very narrow and scary. We had an attic room with sloping ceilings which made the bathroom very compact and awkward.
