The staff is really friendly and couldn't do more for you. The place is really peaceful, clean, and really pushing sustainability. I really enjoy the choice of having the room made up for you or not (specifically if not, knowing I that a contribution goes somewhere I chose to). I also like the fact that you can use the gym which is included in the price. The coffee machines on site provide both caffeinated and decaf options, as well as hot chocolate, they also have a variety of syrups you may add to your brews. In the morning, there are biscuits and fruit on offer for you to pick up by the reception area. There is a water machine to encourage the use of your own water bottles (with options for still or sparkling as well as a variety of flavours).

It can be a bit loud after 10 pm sometimes, as some guests make their way to the rooms and the noise comes through into yours when trying to rest.

Nice surroundings, comfortable room. When I arrived for check-in late in the evening, Pauline was wonderful, I have limited mobility and when I was told my room was in a block a fair distance away, she drove me there, lovely lady and exceptional service.

As somebody with very limited mobility and only able to walk with a stick, it was disappointing at breakfast to see three members of staff standing around chatting whilst I hobbled to get an orange juice, back to the table, then a coffee, back to the table, then a croissant, back to the table, no offer to help me. Disappointed that for the hot section I was told that they don’t do fried eggs, I’ve never heard of this before. Poor customer service.

We stayed one night. Great facilities, lots of different games, sports channels in the bar area, free tea, coffee. All u can eat breakfast. Room was a very good size, clean and modern. Overall, it was great and would stay again.

Only minor thing. We arrived about 5pm and asked about food at reception. Staff member did not seem to be sure and suggested the bar might be serving food. We did get food from the bar, which was very nice (pizza and chips). However at 6.30 the restaurant opened and were offering a full carvery, which had we been told about wld have much preffered.

Honestly? The best hotel we’ve stayed at in a long time. The staff. Amazing. Holly/Lizzie and Laura at The willow was not only acceptable of my illness but the most welcome and accommodating. We’ve stayed at many hotels across the world. Our fav being Dubai. Almost all 5* plus. But this place for us ticked more boxes than anywhere else

Gym could open tad earlier weekends but I’m a very early riser! 7:30 is good for most. We would of liked 6-6:30am latest but made it work nonetheless

Room was excellent. Nice large parking spaces.

Not being woken by workmen renovating room next door at 8 am when we had the do not disturb notice on the door. The padded mattress cover did not fit and came off during the night as did the sheet above it which was too small. Woke up laying directly on the mattress. Very, very difficult to find the way to the hotel after leaving the main road. The signage needs to be lit up. Had difficulty trying to work out how to find the wifi.

Nice room, clean, plenty of sockets.

"Rainforest" or fixed overhead shower. Awful not to be able to use a handheld one or move the shower head down - I'd pre-curled my hair and couldn't help get my hair wet undoing the hours of setting, and as quick as I could put shower gel or sharing foam on, the water would wash it away. The only way to do anything was to intermittently turn the water off and eventually redo my hair.

Lovely site, building is easy to find and a quiet relaxed atmosphere

The bedding could do with updating, with a couple of springs on the mattress being sprung and the main sheet having a small hole in, we were provided with 1.5 toilet rolls which I fully admire the hotels commitment to a greener footprint and not to waste half used toilet rolls, I would have liked to have a 2nd full roll as we ran out the morning we checked out. There was small damage in the bathroom that I’m sure is on its way to be fixed but otherwise the room was immaculate and we can’t wait to stay again

It was a lovely (if a bit small ) room….. it was round the back away from traffic noise so we could have the window open ……. The room itself was functional and comfortable and there was a fan!! Didn’t need to ask which was a bonus and extra pillows - again didn’t have to ask, they were there!!…… Also being smokers it was lovely to have access to the centre courtyard!….. which wasn’t too far from our room and had tables and chairs - no hanging around some designated “smoking” area…… All in all it was a good deal price wise, the location was lovely , as was the room and all the staff we encountered were always very polite , friendly, helpful and professional.

Proper bath sheets and more towels…… A mini fridge would be helpful……. Other than that I’ve no complaints One last thing - get some ashtrays or sand bin for cigarettes ……. There was nowhere to discard cigarettes in the courtyard area and we hate to leave cigarette litter etc after us !!

Clean, quick check-in process, attentive staff. Really good price. Easy to find. Missed dinner because we arrived late but could easily order Uber Eats. :)

Very slight detail, which really isn't too important, but I noticed some minor grime/residue that was near the door handles and the back of the door (nothing overt, just from regular use). Guessing the cleaning staff just missed – otherwise, super clean and comfortable.

It was a lovely quiet and clean place, rooms comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.

Food was expensive. Ordered from the bar menu, hotdog, chicken burger and extra chips came to almost £50. I thought that was a bit steep for all it was. And buffet is £30 per person. Again would need to be very hungry to get the benefit of that. Next time I go back I will eat elsewhere.
