Booked because it's only a mile away from my daughter and her husband with a newborn for christmas. I couldn't believe how big our room was. There was everything we needed for our stay. There's a pub serving food but didn't try it. The bed was really comfy, and the curtains were like blackout. Very clean and tidy. Staff were lovely. Good sized car park near reception area. It's very welcoming and would certainly book here again. Thank-you for a lovely 3 night stay.

The cold tap was hot water but didn't really bother us. We did report it when we checked out to give time to sort it out before the next customer stay.

The most spacious room ever stayed in... Ever. Had everything i needed. I had planned on the pool but run out of time... Next time as it looks wonderful. Windows... Massive i like this as makes a lovely light room everywhere was clean and that is the main thing to me. Very spacious

A light wouldn't turn off in the bathroom, and although the door did lock the lock knob spun around so i thought wouldn't lock so as late wedged my case in front of door but from outside was locked. Bed was a bit firm for my liking.

The location was fantastic. Room nice and big. Iron and board available. Overall was a nice place to stay. Everything there we needed. Great staff 👍

The decor is very tired and dated. For a superior room and the price I would have expected it to be clean, the sofa bed was badly stained especially on the arm rests. Paintwork very poor in bathroom and overall not finished to a certain standard. The shower was very low pressure and shower head very small.

We always are made to feel welcome. The parking is great. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and clean.

Our only issue on this trip was our TV / TV remote did not work properly. I am sure if I had reported to staff they would have looked at it but it was to no detriment to our trip.

I can't really think of anything positive apart from the manager was helpful.

The place was a dump . The first room smelled of damp. It was freezing and the room was cold as the windows were wide open probably to disguise the smell of damp .. The bathroom was pretty disgusting to be honest and the toilet seat was hanging off. We complained to one of the girls and was told to go to reception to get the managers phone number and call him but we said no you call him. The manager arrived shortly after and gave us another room an extra blanket and heater as ALL the heating had been switched off. The beds were nothing special and the pillows were paper thin. Would probably sleep in the car before staying there again.

Breakfast okay, rooms very big, bed comfy, staff great.

Pillows flat ,old, rooms need up date , hotel breakfast room needs update. Understand why not done as really big space. Would take lotto win to re do the whole hotel. Was okay for one night. For price breakfast could been included. Or least have better quality food for the cost been extra.

THE LOCATION IS VERY CONVENIENT FOR US VISITING FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THE AREA. THERE IS A PUB ON SITE WHICH IS FAR ENOUGH AWAY NOT TO CAUSE ANY DISRUPTION BUT CLOSE ENOUGH TO ENJOY.

THE LITTLE SACHETS OF SHAMPOO - DIFFICULT TO OPEN.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was lovely and our room was spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and kept us tea bellies in a constant supply of extra tea and milk for our room! We had the full English breakfast on the Sunday and that was great too.

The only negative was the single use sachets for shampoo / shower gel which caught me out and isn't very environmentally friendly.

Good size room with desk. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Easy parking. Restaurant adjoining hotel. Good Package "continental breakfast in a paper bag" which I picked up the night before.

Ideally I would liked to go to a hotel restaurant for breakfast, but the continental one was perfectly adequate.

Brilliant location for us as very close to son's house and we were visiting grandchildren. The room was excellent good size really clean we could control the temperature which was fantastic. The bed was huge and really comfortable with 4 pillows, so we had 2 each without having to ask reception which seems to be the norm nowadays. Loads of hot water and the full breakfast on the Sunday morning was lovely.

The only thing which we could say was not great was the fact that on our booking we were advised that there was a large double walk-in shower however the only shower was above the bath and not walk in. There was ample hot water just not great if you have mobility issues.
