Food was absolutely gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. My mum was on a rolator and they came straight over to help us when we arrived.

Room was a bit noisy with traffic. Also very warm tho yhere was a fan but still very warm. Not the hotels fault as extreme temperatures all over last couple of weeks.

We had an exceptionally good overnight stay in this recently refurbished Valley Hotel. The check in staff were very helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom (bath and shower) was spotless, all the room's many facilities were perfect including the in-room air conditioner unit. In the morning the breakfast was exceedingly generous, and served by a very pleasant staff member. This was exceptionally good value for money. Thank you.

Room on the small side, food portions on the large side - caesar salad would feed 3 people! Find it very off putting & embarrassing when you leave half of it because there was just too much! The garden area is lovely it's just a pity the entrance to it means going out of the hotel & walking round the back past the carpark to get to it.

The Room although on the small side was very comfortable and had everything you would need No air conditioning but a cooling fan was in place still found the room very warm which would be nice in winter. Our room was at the front of the hotel which was on the main road you could here the traffic even at nighttime.The next time would ask for a room at the back of the hotel

Loved the fact that the waiter in the bar endeavoured to meet my dietary needs and the chef agreed to provide me with smaller portions for evening meals and the waitress and chef did the same for breakfast. That was very much appreciated as was the safe storage of our bicycles as we went there for the cycling. Thank you.

Lovely welcome, took our cases to our room instantly, we felt looked after. All staff so welcoming and professional but also friendly and genuine. Staff in restaurants all lovely and helpful. Food and wines great, fabulous steak, very good breakfast . Totally relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Ease of booking, with very friendly & knowledgeable staff, we only needed the room for a few hours so we could both catch up on some sleep & grab a shower.

Couldn’t control the heating in the room ( or I couldn’t find it ) was very warm !! These 4pm check ins !! All property’s doing it nowadays but still want you to check out at 12 !!!

The staff were so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Bottle of champagne the first night and bottle of red the 2nd night left in our room for my partners birthday. It was such a wonderful gesture. Family run hotel. Just amazing.

Staff each and everyone are extremely helpful friendly and caring…not just doing their job, but doing it with enthusiasm. Food in restaurant was beautiful and breakfast also, nice atmosphere throughout the place. Large carpark, and all usual room facilities.

Probably will go for the larger room next time, but the small one was ok also.
