We stayed here overnight as we had a cheerleading competition in Telford the next morning. The location was great for an early start and short trip into Telford in the morning and was quite a quiet location. Room was clean and modern and there was plenty of space in our family room even with three beds in there. The pub next door was a great place to eat even if the food is very basic mass produced pub food. Prices were reasonable and the breakfast was good in the morning.

Offering the food discount to all hotel guests would've been good as was only available to those that booked direct

Clean big rooms close to the m6 but quiet. Great Marston resteraunt next door kids facilities great food choice and price excellent. Easy to add extra nights stays manager extremely helpful.

One complaint no elevator. But a small building only one set of stairs so not the end of the world. We needed a room for a family emergency so no ground floor rooms but booking ahead I'm sure a ground floor access would of been available. Elevator would be a positive but booking ahead wasn't an option small issue

Not a lot really.

The whole of the restaurant really needs a good clean the floors are dirty,the windows need a good clean from the inside and out . We had to ask for things that had run out the coffee machine kept breaking down and because they were short staffed people had to wait. The apple juice dispenser kept jamming again people had to wait .there was dirty glasses and dirty crockery I had something floating in a glass after I had finally filled it with juice. I could go on it wasn’t a very pleasant experience. Would we eat there again NO .

Good location close to everything we needed, good pub attached to the property. Room is ok size wise, managed to fit in a double and 2 singles to the family room which is clean and pretty well equipped. Cleaning staff were brilliant; 1 of the kids spilt something on the floor and they were excellent in dealing with this for us.

Bathroom is a bit small considering it’s for a family but still acceptable.

It was situated very close to where we were attending. The room had everything we needed and was reasonably clean.

It is confusing when you arrive. After a long drive, we were tired, and it took me a while to realise you had to go into the pub to find the reception. The staff member barely spoke to me, I know it was 10.30pm, but there was no customer service. The room was basic for the price, and there was no lift, which was interesting with a sleepy toddler and multiple bags.

Clean, cosy, excellent value for money, bar restaurant is a stone throw away, reception for hotel is inside the pub/restaurant, food is beautiful and was very busy, had a great stay

No lift, this wasn’t an issue it was only we had a few bags, but if people stay that bring suitcases etc, luckily there is only a first floor so not many stairs

The location was very good, the food was good, and breakfast was as good as I've had in much more expensive hotels. Rooms are nothing special but clean , tidy and adequate for short stays. Excellent security to bedrooms.

The staff were really pleasant and polite. The manager accused me of not paying for my breakfast one morning Without checking first. Apparently he was very wrong in this instance but forgot to apologise for his bad judgement.

This is a travelodge-type hotel. The room was standard and entirely quiet and comfortable. The shower worked fine. We had a drink in the bar in the evening and breakfast (extra, but not expensive) the following morning. Plenty of car parking and an EV charger (we didn't try it).

Breakfast was OK but limited in choice.

The location next to the carvery! The rooms are very clean and comfortable! The air conditioning is just another added luxury here!! It did not disappoint after a busy few days in alton towers, the price of this hotel and what you get for it!! Lets just say I will be coming back with the kids to stay when we next visit the area!

Easy to navigate.

Mattress was very hard so uncomfortable, pillows seem to be very cheap and don’t serve the purpose, no non-slip mat in the shower! The Carvery was plentiful but not as hot as it could have been same with the, very tasty, jam sponge and custard dessert which albeit enjoyable is an issue for some!
