Nathan at front desk was incredibly helpful and professional. I saw him deal with a customer complaint with so much diplomacy despite the male customer being very rude and dogmatic about his complaint. Dianne, at breakfast, was also lovely and welcoming. We had a wee chat and she filled our water bottles up before we headed back out on the road. The young lady that started her shift from 8am on Saturday 26/07 was also very polite, happy and helpful and chatted with us while we read the riddle. The room was comfortable - mostly. A good sized room. Only complaint was the heat. Location wise, it's perfect to hop on to the motorway and there was no noise. The Skybar is beautiful.

The room was hot and we couldn't turn the fan to a lower temperature. Breakfast was mostly good, however: The fruit could have been fresher. It was very tired looking, didn't seem fresh and had brown bits on the watermelon and pineapple. The scrambled eggs, again could have been fresher. The sausages (not the herby ones) were also overcooked/burnt. Is it possible the food warmer temperature/heating lights be lowered so it doesn't dry out the food? Saying that, we did have a good breakfast and chose not to eat the above mentioned (except for the scrambled eggs)

We loved how clean and comfortable it was, Easy location everything on your doorstep, we did have a mix up with our booking but receptionist done her upmost to rectify it so we were happy.

9am and house keeping knocked the door and woke us up i think they shouldn't be knocking your door until at least checkout time, she knocked the door then let herself in, she did apologize and said she'll come back, me personally have not stayed in a hotel where housekeeping let themselves in before checkout time, so for anyone coming make sure you put a do not disturb sign on your door.

We loved our room. We had a spectacular view from the 5th floor. The beds were comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. We were greeted by Vic at arrival, who was also present in the morning for breakfast . He was very helpful. There was no problem in finding parking. Lounge area is beautiful and gives beautiful vibes.

The lift is a little wobbly as it starts trembling when you move about a little. There was no bath matt in the shower room, and I almost slipped. Overall, it requires a little tlc to bring things up to date.

This was our first stay at this hotel, we were on route to the Crufts show at the NEC, hotels at and around the NEC are highly priced, the trip of 30mins to the NEC was well worth it considering the saving. The hotel its self is extremely clean, the rooms are of a good size, great views over Cannock. staff were very friendly and helpful. The Skybar on the 12th floor is not something you usually find in a budge hotel, well worth going up to. There is adequate parking on site. The breakfast is amazing !!

Nothing that I can think of

I am always about the Customer service. Vic at the reception was amazing and helpful for a smooth check in. He even provided us with online breakfast price for one adult as we made an error while booking. This definitely made our day as it's not always about money , but when the customer services care about their clients and it reflected through this act. In the morning we were greeted by beautiful Ella who made sure that we get halal options and also my favourite tea. These small gestures show us how much effort is made to satisfy the client and make us walk out of that door smiling. The breakfast menu is quite decent. Youve got huge choice of healthy breakfast. The skybar is beautiful. The room had all facilities from tea, coffee to tv and desk and chair. You get your own vault to keep your valuables safe. You also get the beautiful view from big glass wall. I will be definitely staying again.

The lift moves a lot if you make small movement, This scared me the first time. We had some issue with the shower head. We didn't complain about while at the property as we were leaving soon.

The staff was very obliging on arrival, the room was nice and bed was comfortable and very clean, the bathroom was lovely with the showers controllable temperature, it could do with some ventilation as we was on the 10th floor so no windows could be open due to safety reasons, the air con was blowing warm air even when set on cold so we was melting due to it being very warm outside too so could do with a fan, the first night we was woken up by the constant slamming of the door from the people next door, we reported it and said there was nobody there for the 2nd night and would get maintenance to check the door to prevent the slamming which was great, we would highly recommend for you to stay here really enjoyed it.

Emily and the chef Evan are a credit to the hotel, Emily went above and beyond with her service she was very well educated about the hotel and the area and Evan the chef his food was delicious and was also a very pleasant young man, well done both, you made our stay amazing . Mandie and Robert xx

Only thing I can moan about is the room doors need something to stop them slamming when your trying to sleep and other guests are coming or going, other than that absolutely nothing.

We stayed after going to Alton towers then to wait to pick up my son in Birmingham the next day. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Rooms were really comfortable my son and I slept like babies pretty much as soon as our heads hit the pillow. The hotel was easy to get to with lots of parking. We loved the look of the hotel and being high up and able to see everything for miles around. The staff were delightful and seemed generally interested in each guests needs. Breakfast was delicious too

Free parking, no height restrictions for my van, late check in 03:00 a.m, friendly night porters. Mid day check out. Good mattress, clean, modern, good value for money. Helpful attentive staff.

Air con didn’t work in my room. My room did smell a little of smoke combined with the plug in air freshener. Couldn’t get any fresh air in the room due to the height and design of the building.

We had to arrange a late arrival due to traffic and the staff were great about it. The night duty guy was so friendly and welcoming, which was exactly what we needed after our long journey. The sofa bed was made up for the kids and very comfortable. The room was clean and fresh. The location was excellent for a pit stop on our journey from Scotland to Cornwall.
