The room was very clean, there was a proper shower in the bathroom not one over the bath like in some hotels. We opted for a room with a sofa bed, it was not made up, but was somewhere to sit and watch tv, it was a good size room. The staff were so lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. There is a 24 hour bar here too.

I didn’t go down to breakfast but my husband did, both days we were there. He said there was plenty of choice, not as much as some hotels, but this was an Express hotel! The food was hot and good on the first morning, the second morning he was there 30 minutes before it closed and the sausages, bacon and hash browns were hard and inedible.

Fantastic value. Much cheaper than nearby luxury hotels I have stayed at and the bedroom layout and comfort were the same. A very big room and high standards of cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Impressed they offered a free spare toothbrush and toothpaste as I forgot mine! A basic bar, great if you just need somewhere to sit together and don't care about the decor/lack of ambience. Very well priced too. Free, ample parking.

Lighting in bedroom and bathroom is poor for make up application. Breakfast is basic and not best quality- but still very good for the price. New check in software that staff were struggling with causing slow check in and confusion over bills, but I expect this is a temporary issue.

The staff are amazing here. Emma and Teodora looked after us from the second we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere, the wifi was free and fast. The breakfast was also free and very well cooked with a great selection. The beds were comfy, The bathroom was a great size and the showers were hot. You literally can not ask for more. Super value for money.

I didnt like that I never booked both nights here. Totally my mistake and I wont be making that mistake when I have to go next year.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent. My room had an extra bed very convenient when you are travelling with young children. Excellent value for money for sure. I was very happy with my stay. Plentiful free car parking

Everything was good. As I stayed over the weekend the hotel was busy and everybody decided to have breakfast at the same time so there were no tables available when I arrived, but a staff member offered us an alternative space near the TV in the entrance hall, so we didn't have to wait for a table to be freed

Superb hotel. Just off the motorway but no noise. Clean, efficient check in. Free car parking. Decentish breakfast included in the price. Comfy beds. What makes staying in this particular hotel a pleasure is the attitude of the staff. Each of the staff members we dealt with was helpful and friendly. This type of welcome makes a huge difference after travelling a long distance. Extra shout out to Bradley please. Looking resplendent in Christmas attire when we arrived, chatty and efficient and even lent me his own phone charger. A hero.

At the price, it’s pretty good.

My room and the bar area were exceptionally clean and tidy. Breakfast was plentiful, tasted amazing and it was served by very helpful and friendly staff. The beers at the bar were reasonably priced and there was a good selection. The guy serving us on both nights was a young lad called Geo. I have to say he was so polite, friendly and a real pleasure to talk to. He does the hotel proud. Nothing was too much trouble for him. If he were working for me he would be in line for a big pay rise.

Could not find fault with anything. Job well done.

Ideal for our circumstances. Friendliness of staff notable from arrival immediately and was matched by everyone else. Great breakfast, and car parking make this place a bargain. Everywhere else that’s another £25. Right off the motorway but no noise. You can get an Uber within 5 mins. You’d need a reason to stay there if it wasn’t for a motorway convenient stopover. There isn’t a huge amount to see in Walsall. Except, the Leather Museum, which is free and brilliant!

Bit of a long shot, but a fridge in the room would have been a bonus. They gave us an ice bucket though.

Breakfast was an excellent range from full English to baked goods. The bar opening hours were a bonus and very reasonable prices. The room was very clean and housekeeping was prompt and thorough.

I was assigned an accessible room which had lowered sinks and higher toilet - a minor inconvenience but unsure if this was due to booking through booking.com rather than directly with the hotel. The hotel was not full, so that couldn't have been the reason.

Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice.

The only issue we had was initial finding the HolidayInn. This was our first visit to the area for the horse racing at Wolverhampton. There was 2 post codes on the information I received. The first postcode I used did not take us to the right place. Coming off the big roundabout off the M6 you then have to fairly quickly get across to the right to take the turning into the road leading to the Holiday Inn. If you miss the turning it is quite difficult to turn around to get to the other side of the road. .

The room was comfortable. Good lighting in the shower room. Loved the breakfast. The staff were friendly, especially those working in the dining area. I would be happy to stay here again.

I was woken up at 5am by an alarm from the adjoining room. It continued for a solid 15 minutes which meant I couldn't get back to sleep. I tried calling reception twice, to see if someone could knock on the door to ask that the alarm got turned off. However, no-one answered the phone. The alarm finally stopped, but it was already too late for me to fall back to sleep.
