Carol was very kind and considerate. Warning us as we travelled that we need to book a table with a venue if we wanted to eat out when we arrive. Carol recommended an area to try. We booked a table at the Drift Wood as recommended, it was excellent and reasonably priced. Every where was extremely busy so the booking a table was a recommendation welcomed. The room was very comfortable and clean. Carol made us very welcomed. The cooked breakfast was also one of the best we have had. Thank you Carol for a lovely stay. We will be back!

The location was quiet, yet close enough to all amenities. The room and private bath were very cozy, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The tea and coffee station in the room was so lovely welcome after a long day of travel. Breakfast was very well presented and my host even provided for special dietary needs. Carole was a wonderful hostess and gave me the suggestion for a perfect adventure, knowing that I wanted to walk/hike even though it was raining. I found the old Quarry and it was the perfect location me! Carole offered another couple a ride to see the Lighthouse to assist them in taking a sight and helping them in a situation of less mobility and uncomfortable weather conditions. I would not hesitate to suggest Appleby's as a topnotch B&B
Unfortunately there were internet issues and there was no access to Internet in the House. No fault of Caroline's and she was doing all that she could to rectify the situation but the delay was on the part of the subcontractors.

I was travelling with my father and spent the weekend in Holyhead prior to embarking a cruise. Whilst the main town of Holyhead is fairly sleepy, Applebys was the perfect place to stay. Carol (host) looked after us brilliantly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. She also very kindly drove us to local landmarks (such as South Stack) and recommended local restaurants such as the Harbour Bistro (also excellent). The room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely return here if embarking/disembarking a cruise again. Thank you Carol for making us feel so welcome!
Nothing.

The host was excellent and provided an additional request on arrival without hesitation. Very friendly and offered a range of breakfast options. The location for me was excellent, about a 10 min was to town centre which was perfect for me. Although I travelled by car, the host, mentioned that there was secure bicycle storage at the rear of the property so cycling around the local area is a viable option.
I had to rush a little, due to onwards travels the next morning, as I would have preferred to explore the area more and possibly have an extra night at the accommodation.

Just stayed for 1 night as getting the ferry ti Ireland the next morning.
Nothing Everything was perfect , bedroom was lovely and big beautifully decorated with own ensuite, Tea and coffee available in room. And perfectly cooked piping hot full English breakfast next morning before we left for the ferry. And only a very short distance to get to the ferry. Carol was a wonderful host and has a lovely homely home.

Carole was an amazing host , she contacted me before I arrived to make sure she would be home and also advised me about eating out in the area. When I arrived after a long drive , I found a saved parking space and a lovely clean and bright room, with everything I needed for my overnight stay. May be a small detail but I really appreciated there being only one cup and saucer in the room! The bed was comfy, shower was great, with towels and shower gel. Check in and out was easy and quick, with a perfect location for accessing the town and catching the ferry.
The room was exactly what I needed for my overnight stay

Carol is a fabulous host! She makes everything clear on arrival and does all she can to accommodate the needs of her guests. Our room was perfect and the beds very comfortable! Carol checked in advance about breakfast, and it was just as ordered. I'd definitely book again!
I honestly cannot put anything in this box! Our stay couldn't have been any better! Thanks Carol 😁

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The landlady waited up for me, as I was unavoidably delayed arriving. She let me keep my suitcase in the breakfast room after I checked out next day - also the key, so that I could go out for a bit and let myself in to retrieve the case when I was ready to leave for the ferry.
I didn't dislike anything. In retrospect, I might have chosen a location closer to the ferry port but that had nothing to do with the quality of the guesthouse, which was excellent.

Carol is the owner of the B&B and greeted us when we arrived. We could park our motorcycles on the premises in front of the B&B. She explained everything very well to us and told us where we could find some places to eat.a very friendly lady. The room was spacious and clean. WiFi worked perfectly and fast. Breakfast was prepared jon order and was very good with fresh brewed coffee. Loved this place and can recommend it to all.
Can’t think of anything.
