Jan, the host was amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable, and equipped with all essentials. It was a lovely surprise to be upgraded on arrival and also to find a bottle of wine waiting for us. Wonderful stay.

This exceptional gem was a perfect place from which to explore the beauty of this area of Wales. Great location, within the walls surrounding the town and Castle. Welsh Heritage Railway a 12 minute walk from the house offers scenic steam train journeys through the Snowdonia National Park. Victoria House is beautifully furnished in a period style in keeping with its Grade 2 listing each room has its own unique charm. We had a delightful stay here and will definitely return.

I recently stayed at Victoria House and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. Jan and her team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room with the sea view was simply stunning that made my stay even more special. What really set this stay apart was the fact that I could bring my dog along with me. Finding a hotel that not only allows pets but also makes them feel welcome is a rare treat. This thoughtful touch was truly the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. Thank you to Jan and her team for their exceptional hospitality. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

We stayed overnight as we were attending an event in Caernarvon in the evening. The accommodation, the locality and the room's comfort were excellent. From the moment I'd booked, Victoria house had got in touch, offering hospitality and giving us both directions and helpful suggestions to questions I'd asked. A good and comfortable stay and I would not hesitate to re-book when we visit Caernarvon, hopefully later this year. Also, a good night's sleep for us both and comfortable bed ! Thank you very much, Victoria house, for your kind hospitality.

The room was lovely, with four poster bed, with period furniture. Well equipped with microwave and fridge with fresh milk rather the the pots of UHT. Nice touches, such as Portmeirion crockery. Jan was very friendly and helpful, pointing out places to eat and parking if it wasn't possible on the street outside the property.

Don't really know what to say, other than we couldn't fault the property or the proprietor. Parking was a little awkward as it's on a narrow one way street. Managed a space when we arrived, but returning after visiting an attraction, no spaces were available. Jan's suggested free parking spaces near the harbour which was only a five minute walk from the property. Other than that a pleasant experience which we hope to repeat.

Lovely welcome drinks on arrival, the room was great and spotless, had everything needed including a fridge, microwave,crockery and toiletries. The location is great for visiting caernarfon - everything is within walking distance with plenty of shops and eateries. We enjoyed the Cantonese Fu's restaurant for an evening meal overlooking the docks. The owner Jan is available and very helpful, I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again and recommending.

I booked at stay at Victoria House as an anniversary surprise for my fiancée. Everything was perfect from the start, Jan answered the door and was immediately welcoming. She showed us to our room and told us about the facilities as well as providing information about the town (it was our first visit). As a host, she was friendly, informative and couldn’t do enough. The room itself was perfect - comfortable and classy - for a truly unique style that doesn’t let you forget that you are staying within castle walls! We stayed in the room with the jet bath and it was so relaxing. Plenty of tea and coffee provided We would definitely recommend a stay and we knew before the end of ours that we would want to come back

The place was central, the host , Jan, really knows how to treat guests! We were well looked after, the place was spotless and impeccable! We appreciated the little treats (some local biscuits,candles,milk and water, local beer etc) as not many hosts do these things anymore. Jan arranged the place to be a relaxing retreat. We even had slippers and robes, this was also a plus! Jan is a real host, she does not only rent out a room, but make it an experience and a great memory. This is rare to find, and we have been to many b&b places as we travel often. Thanks Jan!

We hated to leave, the host was so kind to accommodate a late check out for us, this was really much appreciated and we were so sad to leave!

Our host was warm, friendly, very helpful. The room was very comfortable with attention to detail with a huge bathroom. There is a fantastic terrace at the end of the paved garden, up some steps, it is part of the property but on the town wall, a bench to watch the sun set and lovely views of the sea. It doesn't include breakfast but we were recommended that because of their connection, if we go round the corner to The Anglesey Arms we could have full English breakfast for £8 each. A great breakfast !

Lovely size room with a great view of the sea and castle walls. Good bed and wonderful facilities. Cool water in the fridge accompanied by a cool orange juice.plenty of milk for those teas and coffees too. Bed was comfy and warm. Lovely quiet room.

There were dogs in another guests room which turned out to be quite noisy. Although the pet owners did seem to try to manage this.
