We had a lovely stay. Inside the pub is so welcoming and the decor is lovely. We especially liked eating in the restaurant area looking out over the gardens. The room was modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more, like the little nice touches of biscuits and toiletries. Plenty of hot Water in the bathroom and shower was nice and powerful. Staff were so wonderful, paying attention to our daughter, and were very polite throughout. The food in the restaurant was top quality and delicious. Breakfast was lovely, especially the fresh fruit and yogurts. Parking on site not an issue, we used the lower car park for a bit more room. There is an EV charger too with two charging points, and a handy Waitrose next door.

The initial look of the hotel put us off slightly - however once inside all worries vanished. Also, there was some night time noise (to be expected when staying at a pub!) we were on the top floor but our bathroom and bedroom window were above where the pub goers would smoke outside. Not too much of a problem but may be loud in the summer. All noise stopped at a reasonable hour.

Lovely room, huge bed, table and chairs in window area, which was great as we arrived late evening after the kitchen had closed so we had a takeaway, it was great to be able to sit and eat it comfortably. In fairness, a staff member rang us to advise us what time the kitchen closed to enable us to source food. Must be the fifth or sixth time we’ve stayed there, always lovely. Great breakfast as well. Location is ideal, right on the coastal path and cracking views across the Menai straits.

Nothing to not like, been here a number of times as everything is spot on. Stayed in a few hotels in the region and this one is the nicest.

Breakfast lovely, good choice of vegetarian options, the cooked 'garden breakfast' includes a tasty vege version of black pudding! Staff friendly. All very clean. Comfy bed.

A bit disappointed that the room faced the busy road and that we could hear traffic noise, but it did quieten over night and wasn't a big problem as we were out during day and evening time. Also not much wardrobe space but ok for a couple of nights. Otherwise very nice.

Staff were tremendously cheerful and helpful and when there was a small hiccup with the allocated room, another (and better) was provided by the manager with both an apology and smile - he even helped us move our bags etc.. Supper was fairly good and breakfast very good.

The actual building interior is showing some signs of tiredness in places and we felt the number of coffee sachets per room was rather stingy. Not big issues but it is ranked as 4 star!

The hotel is a very popular pub on the entrance to the bridge that has a large bar and restaurant. We had some issues with the booking and a room but the hotel staff were exceptional and it was resolved very quickly and without fuss. All of the staff were very good.

Nothing really. It was busy but we weren’t aware it was so popular. We had an OAP staying with us so we would have booked somewhere quieter on this occasion, but it wouldn’t stop us booking this hotel for ourselves in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was only for a night for me and a friend. Great parking & a quick check In. The rooms are lovely. The beds were really comfortable. The room was clean and we had a door on the room to outside. This was great as it was warm so let's lots of air in. Great tea & coffee with a good selection of hot drinks plus bottles of water & biscuits. The TV was on ok size. The bathroom was clean & a good size. Lots of fluffy towels & free toiletries which was great. Easy to use & powerful shower. We ate at the restaurant. Lovely food. Lots of choice including vegan options for my friend. The breakfast was brilliant. Great breakfast table & then a big menu for a cooked breakfast. A lovely view of the Menai Bridge through the window too. All in all a great place to stay. Close to lots of places to visit in Wales. Highly recommended.

There are quite a few stairs to the rooms so not easy to manage for people with mobility problems.

Room was lovely. Clean, contemporary and very comfortable. Food was very good too. Better than anticipated for a hotel/pub chain. I would happily stay again. Keep up the good work team.

Could do better in these areas. Hanging baskets outside hotel almost dead, which gave me (fortunately, unfounded) reservations about standards inside. Service in the evening dining room was slow, but it was very busy. Design of dining room chairs meant dirty/sticky hand marks showed dreadfully on the fabric on the arms of the chairs. It was a good central location The bedroom was spacious and very clean , nice white fresh bed linen The tea / coffee facilities were very well stocked as were the toiletries Staff were, without exception helpful and friendly. 😊 Thankyou

We both felt the pillows were all extremely hard and uncomfortable It would have been nice to have one soft and one firmer pillow to cater for all tastes There was no prepared fresh fruit for the breakfast buffet ( fruit in juice like grapefruit/ orange segments or raspberries/ strawberries) There were whole apples or bananas etc and all else was good .

Great position for Menai Bridge, Beaumaris and surrounding villages. Clean. Comfortable beds and nice shower. Staff very helpful. Parking on site a bonus.

Noise from the bar/restaurant and the street outside inevitable on Saturday night. Breakfast a little 1970s. Little boxes of cereal a reminder of how hotels used to be. This needs an update.

All staff were friendly & helpful,nothing was too much trouble. It' has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.⁸ The food was lovely, had x2 breakfasts & 1 evening meal there. Beautiful gardens

Basic drinks facilities in the room, for the price,would have expected a better range of tea & Also a small fridge would be very helpful.
