Excellent location, amazing indoor swimming pool, spacious family room, separate bar (indoor pub) and restaurant. Good selections for breakfast. Car parking dotted around the hotel with lots of space. Overall highly recommend hotel for visit to Snowdonia and surrounding areas.

Kids under 16 can only swim until 6pm, however most nights we didn't return to hotel until late. Not a deal breaker but worth bearing in mind if you're travelling with kids.

Great sized rooms, clean and comfortable. The pool is clean and fantastic for rainy days. The staff are very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond in a few instances. Location is very convenient.

I feel the breakfast needs more variety. It is adequate. There is basic fruit, yogurts, cereals and the regular buffet of cooked items. It just feels very basic and gets very repetitive if you stay for more than a few days. A few additions would be good, such as a fruit salad, granola, a larger variety of pastries, a more luxurious yogurt brand. That would make it stand out as a very good hotel for me.

Parts of the car park were very steep !Walls in the room very thin could hear everything and bathroom in the double rooms very small and the safe didn’t work did report it but still didn’t work

The hotel is located close to the centre of Caernarfon and it’s easy to walk there. The rooms in the hotel are very large. Our room was very clean, although the decor was a bit tired and could ideally do with a makeover. The breakfast was good. Nicely cooked, although a wider selection of fruit and an option of granola would be nice. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The spa is excellent.

The common areas of the hotel were a bit dingy. A shame, because it’s a lovely old building. An investment in better lighting would bring out the best in the place.

Staff couldn't do enough to help you all excellent, but a shoutout to Ionut great job as a waiter. All staff were wonderful though, as said couldnt do enough to help. Breakfast was superb. Hotel itself was very nice, excellent location

So 2 things let if down, first was the room, while clean, they do get hot, thankfully the hotel gave us a fan, so a point back for that.Second was evening meal in restaurant, unfortunately, they ran out of some of the items we wanted, where I get this happens was a bit frustrating took the waiter to go the kitchen before being informed, chef needs to give waiter this info before hand, as poor Ionut had to come back twice to tell us the were out of items.

The breakfast was amazing I went up to get more 3 or 4 times I could just keep eating, it was that good. The staff are fantastic very kind and happy to help. Also very organized in there way of running the hotel. The location is perfect if your climbing mount Snowdon with a short drive to the start of the trail pathways. It's full of history all around the hotel and only a stone's throw from the harbour and Castle. Truly stunning. It also has a swimming pool and changing areas which is very clean and tidy. The hotel has a lovely family bar with live music on of a night. Very welcoming staff and a fairly priced menu. Thanks for are stay 😁😘👍

Very little to moan about, one of the light bulbs above the headboard wasn't working. There was a crack in the toilet basin which had been repaired with filler and stood out abit. (At least it had been repaired). Thanks for are stay we loved it.

The breakfast was good, The hotel was set well with plenty to do. The room was a good size. The beds were comfy although I did find that some of the beds were different it was okay for me and my husband. My eldest son didn't find his bed very comfy but my younger son found it like a cloud. Most the staff eas very polite and welcoming.

Some features could be updated such as the mirror in the bathroom was a bit chipped on the edges and the room was quite warm as their was no air conditioning. There could have been more choice on the breakfast such as fruit. There was a no diving sign but the kids were warned not to jump in the pool and if they were caught, we would have to leave. I found this a little bit unfriendly especially due to the lack of signage. There is also a lack of sound proofing as you can hear people walk past and in the room above. Also food and drink prices were pricey compared to local restaurants.

The staff were superb! Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a 3 star but a part from the rooms needing a little modernising, we thought it was more like 4 star… we liked the charm and character ’as is’. They are extremely dog friendly and for the extra cost of £25 they include a dog bed and bowl to use in the room and a free bag of Waggs - little touches like these which are often missed these days. Breakfast was super and the short walk into town was fab! Free parking too! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The room was very hot with no way of turning it down but the bed was so comfy it didn’t spoil the stay

Everything about the Royal Celtic is relaxing. This hotel has old world charm and service is one of their top priorities. Service was always delivered with a smile. This was our second time to the property so we knew what to expect and it didn't disappoint. We knew from our previous visit that making a dinner reservation was very important and I have to admit that the dinner quality was above our expectations and at a very reasonable price.

Our stay there was during a very hot period and there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, this is not a critique, just something to be aware of. The hotel provided a quiet fan, and with the window open, the room soon cooled down. A small price to pay for the rest of the amenities.

The woman who worked at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Since we arrived with a dog and dogs are not allowed in the dining area for breakfast, she offered us a separate room. She prepared a table there for our family to have breakfast. We also liked the gift for our pet. Everything was prepared, including a bed and a bowl for water. We also enjoyed the sauna and swimming in the pool. Thank you, all these steps were pleasant.

I didn't like that the room was very hot with no air conditioning, and there was only one very small window that didn't open much. The bed was also a little uncomfortable; it was fine for one night, but not great if we had to stay longer.
