A small hotel but hugely professional in the way guests are greeted and looked after throughout their stay. The proprietor provides a great experience by paying close attention to and meeting/exceeding expectations. A superb evening meal experience is available at the Garden Hotel too.
The hotel is ideal for a short stay....I booked in for 2 nights which is ideal. For longer stays I think additional facilities may be required for most guests.

A warm welcome from Sandra the host and Vic. Both went extra miles in making sure our stay was comfortable.The food and breakfast were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. As we were taking our daughter to uni for her first year, the location to the university was excellent.
Our room was next to the main road and we could hear the traffic and noise from outside. As we were there for only for a short time, this did not hugely bother us.

Very close walking distance to both Bangor station and downtown Bangor. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Plus they have an amazing Cantonese restaurant as well! If you get a chance to meet Sandra she is wonderful! She showed me where to explore around Bangor and made sure I was always taken care of.

This was the best choice for Bangor. Great value all round. The service was friendly and helpful throughout. The room size and amenities were excellent for a very good price. The location was perfect for the station and for visiting the town. I also tried the restaurant for a meal which was very good.

Everything was very good
The only drawback was that my Mastercard was cancelled by my credit card company but I was able to use my Nationwide Visa card for the rest of the holiday. I remember saying to the lady after breakfast that I would settle up now and she said that it had all been done. I don't know how she was able to operate the Mastercard without me keying in the pin number Bob Reid

Lovely owner, so kind and warm. Also we got very useful advices!! All the staff were also very kind and full of empathy Perfect location. Outstanding personalised breakfast and very tasty dinner.
Only some issues with the toilet flush.

The host was amazing! Sandra was fabulous. Very accommodating and friendly:) She gave me some lovely suggestions for the area. Will definitely visit again The location was perfect for Bangor, I had come to trek Snowdon and found that it was a half hour drive.

Everything about this stay was fabulous. If in Bangor, please stay and/or dine here. Our host, Sandra is an amazing lady. Nothing was too much of an ask for her. Definitely recommended.

EVERYTHING. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS. I WAS LOOKED AFTER FROM DAY 1. THE RESTAURANT HERE IS GRADE A CANTONESE CUISINE, FRESH PRODUCE COMBINED WITH SUBTLE FLAVOURS. ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I HAVE EVER STAYED AT.

Sandra was very helpful in making our travel in North Wales enjoyable and convenient. She was flamboyant and informative. Big hotels cannot project such friendliness.
