Beautiful location and views. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food & drink was excellent. Bathroom was excellent, but far bigger than it needed to be. Extra space in the bedroom would have been appreciated.

Bed wasn't the most comfortably, with creaky springs every time we moved. No bedside table on one side, and clothes hangers over the TV, so any long clothing would obscure the TV.

Location and views are stunning

Access from hotel car park (when the one on the foreshore is full) is down some steep steps so carrying bags can be difficult and dangerous, especially in the rain or the dark. It is recommended that information is supplied in the booking to explain that even if the foreshore park is full then drop off of bags and those with poor mobility is done at the hotel door.

Awesome location and the view was amazing. The hotel have enough facilities and not over crowded to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The restaurant serves fantastic selection of foods that taste fresh, delicious, with good portion and of great value too. With the bar that have good selection of drinks to unwind at the end of the day. Our room ( Room 10) was clean, spacious , great view and by far the best room we had of all our holidays in UK. However, the best part are the staff of the hotel. Everyone are friendly, polite, approachable and professional. Most especially to the gentleman ( sorry , we forgot his name -he looks like Bob Marley😊) who went above and beyond in accommodating us for breakfast although it was almost 10am. We truly appreciate the effort and really made a difference in enjoying our stay. He is indeed a great asset to the team. Hopefully, we can come back again in the future. Once again thank you very much.

Evening food, drinks and breakfast were excellent, as was the service. The location was outstanding. The waitress even carried my breakfast and coffee outside so I could enjoy it by the waters edge ! A stunning place to stay.

We were in the annexe family room. The hallway towards our door was dirty which felt unwelcoming and the lock was faulty on the door. The room and bathroom were clean but an air freshener had been plugged in which was totally overpowering and unpleasant. We were cold at times and there was no tea, biscuits or hair conditioner. Also in the middle of the night, someone used the bathroom in the room next door. The tap/water noise was so loud it woke us up in fright!

Location stunning right at the edge of the straits. Very picturesque. Food was delicious in restaurant. Pleasant staff. Lovely bar amd tange of drinks plenty of choice.

Parking not explained fully in description as there is a residential car park - down a steep hill past the first turning - only found out after husband struggled down steep steps with suitcase! Luckily locals pointed this out to us. Menu is limited (obviously focused on seafood) disappointing no steaks on menu at all. Rooms all on second floor steep stairs no lift. No mention of this when booking. Room basic for the price paid. Comfortable but heard all drainage water and cistern filling when any other rooms flushed toilet or ran water.

Location is fabulous, rooms fitted out to a good standard, very comfortable and clean, good parking.

Staff - there did not seem to be anyone in charge and I was greeted by staff on both nights who were capable but not particularly friendly. The second night of my stay I wanted to eat in the restaurant at 5.30pm and was told by the staff member begrudgingly that I could have a table but they needed it back by 7pm, I felt as though I was an inconvenience to the obviously more important people at 7pm. I was a paying hotel guest. It was the lack of warmth from the staff as a solo traveller that would put me off going back. When I asked for the bill, the male member of staff said he was busy, not 'I'll be right with you in a minute'...customers from my point of view were a slight inconvenience.

I stayed in the annexe - the room was beautifully decorated with an understated martime theme that was perfect! The en suite was spotless and also beautifully finished. The location is extraordinary - literally next to the sea, I could sit on my bed and watch the boats cross the water. The food was beautifully presented, delicious and well priced, served by friendly staff, in a lovely bar area (There is a separate restaurant area but I chose to eat in the bar). The hotel is a short walk from the Hidden Gardens where you can see red squirrels and also close to Beaumaris and Menai town. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!! It's as close to perfection as I've ever found.

Where to start.....booked a family room in the main building with a sea view. Ended up in the Annexe. Booked dinner in the restaurant, was asked to eat in the bar. Then found us a table. Ordered fish pie. No fish pie. Ordered Hallibut, no you can have Hake. Sorry no hake. Had a John Dory. Ordered a wine, 20 mins no wine. Asked again, served dinner......no wine. Eventually came at the end of the meal. I've been going to the Gazelle for years and never had an issue. Maybe it was a one off, BUT not all on the one visit. Breakfast was amazing

Easy to find, fantastic location, easy parking. And what a lovely little place, loved the decor and it was warm and cosy, atmospheric. The lady who greeted us (owner?) was warm and friendly and efficient, made us feel they knew what they were doing. We dined in the lovely little restaurant and really enjoyed it...great menu, great food and service from all the staff. Bar area was also nice, lovely view out. Could have sat there all night..good selection of wines and beers served at the right temperatures. Our room though small was cosy, warm, well decorated, shower room quite big and well appointed. Spotlessly clean. Will definitely return but will upgrade to a bigger room with a view next time. Great little find!

Hard to find fault except double bed was a bit small (used to King Size) but room was small so limited by that. There was noise from the (presumably kitchen) extractor mounted on the outside wall near our window. Thankfully it was quiet later at night and didn't start up too early in the morning.

The food was amazing, the staff were really helpful, the views did not account for such a good room rate like was in Glyn Garth: Where the wealthy have mansions on hills overlooking the strait and Snowdonia mountains, under £100 per night ave for a room. Just cannot make the value for money up. Would have given all a five star review if had travelled by car.

Location not as advertised without a car. The bus stop was a half hour walk along a gruelling fast paced road partially paved. Alternatively could follow Google Maps and go up a huge steep and narrow mountain road claims 26 minutes but in reality is about 40 minutes because of the exercise/fitness required. Would be better if this was made clear on the website.
