Location was great and staff were lovely. All were very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t use the restaurant but it is clearly very highly supported and very good. The car park was very good and they were very kind and let us park before check in and leave it there until the afternoon after check out which was very helpful. The room was large and the bathroom had a big walk in shower. Plenty of hot water.
The room and bathroom were cool but it wasn’t too cold at night. The weekend was a very cool one so this probably was the reason. You don’t expect to have the heating on in June!

Well situated for walks and Snowdonia attractions. Excellent for bus service. Stylish dining areas. Food good. Nice atmosphere in hotel. Very comfortable bed and room.
No lift and no one enquired if I was able to manage the 2 flights of stairs. At 78 it was a little bit difficult. I had to request that my luggage be taken to and from the room but done immediately and with grace. No safety handles over bath for the shower. No towel rails so they had to lie on the side of the bath. My towels were changed unnecessarily the bath towel unused. I would have been happy to use the same ones for the 3 nights stay.

I booked a last minute room due to local taxis repeatedly letting us down in the area. We had hiked that day and we were cold and wet. The receptionist was so kind and so attentive. I literally booked the room and within 10 minutes, despite the rush, the gentleman at the reception had informed us where the open shop was for supplies, as it was late at the time. He also talked us through the facilities and put us in a family room. So grateful to this gentleman and his help.
No working heater in the room.

Rustic feel and decor, bright breakfast room and cosy dinning room. A nice separation between the attached sports bar and the hotel itself with its own bar. Nice beer garden with great view of the valley. Walking distance to the lake and kids playground
For disable people in wheelchairs, the hotel didn’t have a lift or wheelchair accessible entrance, but with older buildings this is common as it’s not feasible to fit lifts and ramps.

We had a last minute booking and David checked us in easily. He was also very kind to share his local knowledge of the area and recommend a few hikes for us. He is an avid hiker so he was able to tailor his recommendations for our skill level. The room was quiet, clean and fully stocked. We slept soooo well! There is a full bar and bistro downstairs and we had a good dinner. We also had the optional breakfast the next morning which was very well priced. Padarn Hotel exceeded our expectations and we look forward to staying her again next time we are in Wales!
nothing to add here.

We booked this hotel last minute( 40 minutes before arrival) as we were planning on booking the train ride to snowdon. On arrival we were greeted by 2 friendly receptionists. They looked on the booking website for the train and gave us great advice where the location aas( 5 minute walk to station) The room was large, clean, and comfy. The area was beautiful and lovely coffee shops and quaint little walks. We ate in the restaurant, food was average. They had a sports bar at the far end of the pub, really trendy woth pool table and music. Bar staff helpful and friendly. Beer garden to sit in. Fantastic location we went for a drive around snowdon in the evening with absolutely breathtaking views! Definitely recommend 👌
Food was average and limited choice on menu.

The staff is really nice and accommodating especially Owain! I also love their breakfast, I think it was really worth it with the price because they offer unlimited toasts, hot and cold drinks, youghurt, etc. The room and shower is big enough. The location is perfect especially those who wanted to take the Llanberis path to the Snowdon.

The hotel is perfectly located in Llanberis for anyone wishing to do outdoor sports in the amazing local area or go visiting the nearby area. If you don't have a car, there's an hourly bus service to Caernarfon and another to Bangor. They also serve other local villages and the starting point for many climbs. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular but perfectly OK. Overall, very happy.
The room cleaning was a bit quirky. Towels were changed daily, but cups left dirty and the restocking of coffee/tea was a bit sporadic.

The room we had was a large room that accommodated all our travel and hiking equipment. The hotel is well located just a short walk from the bottom of the Llanberris path up Snowden ( or the train station), so great spot
It was unusually warm whilst we were there and even though they had already put a fan in the room and we could leave the window open… the duvet was a very warm one

What a gem of a hotel. The staff were all amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed at the Padarn over New Years eve with the aim to climb Snowdon the following day. The Padarn held a NYE party in the function room which while being mostly attended by locals we were made to feel so welcome and was shown the Welsh way to celebrate. Even though we left the party earlier we could not hear a hint of the celebrations from our room and both got a great night sleep. Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is worth having and has a large selection available. Great value for money. Would absolutely stay here again.
