Everything!! I don't usually write reviews but Caer Rhun Hall was amazing. Beautiful building Beautifully decorated in lovely grounds and as it is new it will only get better. Its tranquil and luxurious. We will definitely be back.we down have a dog but the dog friendliness just ended to the laid back vibe.

If had to pick one thing it would be that lack of coocked breakfast (although the breakfast was still very good, a pancake experience!) but they're getting the kitchen up and running April, then it will be truly perfect.

The view from the room was beautiful. The staff were lovely. The room was warm and cosy, and done to a very high standard. Very peaceful surroundings, can hear the birds out the window. Great magazines in the room.

One evening during our stay we wanted to have a drink in the bar, unfortunately as I entered the apothecary room a large dog appeared from under the seat a couple was sat at and barked. This startled me as I wasn't expecting that from a public area of the hotel. The dog didn't appear to be on a short lead either and this was intimidating. I felt I couldn't enjoy this space. Might be worth changing the pet policy to only allow pets in public areas of the hotel that are content around people other than their owners.

Grand building in a wonderfully picturesque setting. Swift and simple check in, The Fordham room was huge, with super king bed and bath overlooking the courtyard. Staff were very welcoming and although always busy, responded quickly to our requests. Due to uncertainty on our evening plans we didn't manage to book a table in the restaurant, however a simplified menu was available to eat in the bar/lounge area so we didn't go hungry and the candlelit ambience was perfect!

Based on the quality of the food in the evening, a cooked breakfast option would have been most welcome. However, the continental breakfast was varied and tasty.

Absolutely perfect, we climbed snowdon on the day and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect relaxing, peaceful environment to relax in, the bar was lovely and comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food on the night was amazing and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection of continental foods, so much so I didn’t miss a hot breakfast, and we finished our stay off with a lovely walk around the grounds taking in the stunning views. Would highly recommend to anyone and we most certainly will be back!!!!

It’s not closer to home!!!!!

One night stay in one of the "cottages", We had a nice,big and warm room, an enormous double bed, Room and sheets etc were clean and tidy, Tea and Coffee (Nespresso machine) facilities, Shower with hot water, bath robes and slippers even provided along with an umbrella should it rain!. Everything you'd need such as hair dryers, iron etc too. Very plesent place to stay. Main house interesting too, along with the grounds. which are worth a wander Wanted to stay a bit longer but all booked up, so it's popular...

Nothing really. We didnt eat there so cant comment on breakfast/Meals but menu looked good. Bar service was great though..

Absolutely wonderful stay. We were in a separate little block of rooms away from the main house. It was very clean, modern and well maintained. Super comfy beds and everything you needed was there for you. The main house itself was perfect. The decor was exceptional, roaring open fire in the bar area too. The staff upon check in were very helpful. The guy working the bar in the evening was so kind and helpful. Gave us lots of information and recommendations on the local area. Also made delicious disarono sours. Unfortunately we didn't get his name but was possibly David. Exceptional customer service. The grounds were very well maintained and beautiful with a big swing in the garden. Would highly recommend and I'm definitely hoping to visit again in the future.

Nothing that I didn't like, only suggestion would be more teabags, sugar and a dairy alternative available in the milk sachets.

The whole place just had a very relaxing vibe. The grounds were lovely and well maintained and the trees were amazing. Often when travelling with a dog when it comes to dining you either need to leave them in the room if the dining location is substandard. Not the case here at all. In fact I preferred breakfast and dinner to the usual non pet diners location Everything was tastefully done

Our bedroom was tiny though we did book last minute and were few dog friendly rooms available. Also and I meant to mention to the staff on check out (but my husband checked out) and this is not a complaint just a mention - the ladies downstairs toilet I think has a problem with the plumbing as the smell was not good.

What was there not to love about this place? They do mean it when they say it’s like a home away from home. From the warm welcomes off all the staff to the wonderful grounds to explore, there’s not much more you could ask of such a beautiful stay.

The only possible downside I can see is if, like me and my partner you don’t drive, transport is a bit of a nightmare. We did try and get the bus 19 outside but it never came (we could however manage to get it on our way home though) so we relied on taxis which can get expensive. Other than that though there isn’t honestly anything we didn’t love about our stay here.

Property was beautiful, the staff were very helpful and attentive, the facilities were good. Breakfast was good, lots of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast and meat selection, boiled egg making machine and a pancake making machine.

We chose a standard double room which was very small, it was located in the main house with an en-suite bathroom but there was nowhere to sit other than on the bed and the tea / coffee was on a low table in the corner which would have been better suited on a taller cabinet that provided further storage options as storage was minimal. Safe was inaccessible in the bottom of the wardrobe.

A stunning hotel set in 17 acres. The hotel looks like the perfect location for the classic "Victorian shooting weekend" or a live action Cluedo! Breakfast is a continental break with fruits, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, salmon, pastries, and (very unique) a pancake making machine - press the button and mix lands on a conveyor belt and cooks before landing on your plate - with a choice of toppings, one being cut your own honeycomb. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the gardens. We will be going back.

Prices of the meals in the restaurant were a bit much - £38 for an 8oz steak.
