• Delightful guest house. • Delightful room, spacious • Our room was on the ground floor, as we had requested • Modern bathroom. • Always great to have a towel heater. • The communal area was lovely; light, bright with several sitting nooks. I used it nightly to read, etc when my husband went to bed before me. And he used it in the mornings when he got up before me. • The communal area was also a lovely welcoming area to walk into from the entrance door. • Breakfast, in the Erskine Arms opposite, was delicious. • We also ate there for dinner - remember to book in. • It is a wonderful pub with great atmosphere and food. • all staff friendly • good pre-arrival information
FRIDGE. • Would have liked a small fridge in our room - only place we have stayed in (in our long UK holiday) without one. • There is space, just have a smaller chest of drawers ,- or put a tiny fridge on the existing big chest of drawers. • There was a tiny fridge (smallest in existence!) in the communal area. But we both have prescription medication that needs refrigerating, and the communal fridge was too small. • And I wouldn't put prescription, or any, medication in a shared fridge anyway. BATHROOM • A lovely big shower but nowhere to put soap, toiletries. • A shelf/toiletries holder in the shower recess is strongly recommended. • extra hooks in bathroom for toiletries bags, clothes, PJs etc always recommended! And bedroom door for coats, scarfs etc Otherwise, couldn't fault.

Great central location and well appointed rooms. Staff excellent and very helpful. Food good and in particular excellent breakfast. Breakfast staff very attentive, thank you. We have stayed before and was not disappointed.
Our room in Y Capel had a damp smell, due to a recent leak upstairs, I'm sure this will be soon resolved.

We loved everything. We were a family ranging in age from 22 to 85 years old. Without exception everyone was extremely pleased with their rooms, their bathrooms, the comfortable beds, the great water pressure in the showers. The central area to sit and chat was really useful for us as one of our group has dementia and can find noisy crowded places over whelming. It was very much appreciated that some of the rooms allocated to us were on the ground floor as not everyone would have been able to manage stairs. There were a couple of steps into the building and into the pub where breakfast is served but they were manageable. Something that was particularly appreciated was making custard that wasn't on the menu for one of our party so they could eat something when we all sat together for dinner in the evening. Food was lovely. As were the staff. There's a convenient private car park which is useful because the accommodation is right in the center of Conwy and it can get quite busy. Alternatively the railway station is about 3 minutes walk away. Because we were right next to the high Street it meant those with mobility issues could still come for a short walk while the younger family members explored the castle. We have already recommended to friends and decided we will book again.

Room excellent, staff excellent, breakfast excellent - great location, parking on site, and ear plugs apparently provided...
Just don't understand why church chimes ring out every 15 mins throughout the night which obviously disturbs sleep if you're not used to them - even the vicar has complained to the local Council. Accommodation is alongside the church so really was an issue for a good night's sleep. Ear plugs are available but unfortunately we weren't informed until the morning - just an oversight but surely if the local Council want to attract overnight tourism this needs to be addressed....

The room was excellent - spacious, spotless and very comfortable with good tea and coffee options and good quality bathroom items. Parking was free and easy to access and the location could not have been more convenient. We had no issues at all.
The only disappointment was the standard of breakfast. There was a very meagre buffet selection with only some fresh fruit, cereal and yoghurt. No granola, berries or compote and no bread or croissants. My scrambled egg with salmon was good but my wife's kipper was overcooked and was served on it's own with toast. We were not offered any extra toast and the coffee was only passable. The accommodation itself however made up for the breakfast.

Last minute decision to stay overnight in Conwy, booked Y Capel as was a good price for B & B and also being able to park the car, room was lovely , bed comfy, had a meal in Erskine arms which is where you go to pick your keys up etc was delicious we hadn't booked as we didn't know what are plans were going to be but they were able to fit us in, lovely breakfast the next morning too. I stupidly left my phone charger in the room so had to ring them & they posted out to me
I think the room above us needs floor boards sorting out as whoever was staying in that room seemed to be walking about a lot, going to bathroom etc seemed to be every half hour through the night which kept us awake, obviously not their fault but all we could hear was loud creaking floor boards

The chapel was very clean, the check in was good. We would stay here again as it was lovely. Y Chapel is in a good location over the road from the Erskine pub.
We rang up to check to see if there was a car park and was told by a man that there was no parking and to park over the road. This was the wrong information as we were staying in Y Chapel. When we checked in we were given a pack and a code for the car park barrier. I was a bit annoyed as I had just paid £8.60 for the car park. We stayed in room 11 and the adjoining door to room 10, the walls were very thin. We could hear the people next door snoring and talking.

The room was very clean, spacious, and decorated to a high standard. On the second day, we were able to sit outside on the balcony as the sun had come out. Also there was free parking next to the hotel.
Breakfast was a letdown for me, as i had ordered a Welsh breakfast, and when it came, i had an anaemic thin sausage, half a small mushroom, a square Black pudding which was hard and over cooked, an under cooked half tomatoe and the toast was blacked on one side which was face down on the plate and the poched egg looked like it was it had come from a Quail it was that small the best bit about the breakfast was the beans.

A beautifully restored chapel conversion. Well appointed.Spacious room with a deck. Decent shower. Clean and reasonably comfortable. Impressive communal area with facilities and sofas. Located in the centre of town with on site free parking. The business is part of the pub opposite which has also been well refurbished. An excellent breakfast on the first morning with the option of kippers and perfectly cooked poached eggs. Lovely pub with a courtyard. Four real ales on pump. TripAdvisor Torbayaotearoa 🇬🇧 🇳🇿
Whilst the Chapel has been converted and appointed to a high standard, the bedding and mattress were budget. One arm chair; there is room for two which would have been nice. Breakfast on the second morning underwhelming. Rock hard poached egg and curiously extra toast presented amongst the breakfast, not separately. Egg and toast discarded.

The room had kettle, clean cups, a selection of tea bags, and coffee. The bathroom was clean, and shower gel/shampoo/ towels were provided. There was also a large lounge where you can make some drinks and spend time with your friends. It was cosy and beautifully decorated. The meals were served next door in a beautiful pub. The service was perfect. I could not ask for more to make my break a wonderful experience
I can't make any negative comments as my room was just perfect
