Food amazing... rooms amazing , service amazing, beautiful scenery and spa is lovely .. had a fabulous couples massage girls are so lovely

We didn't like how they have changed the rules for the pool... you could used to swim anytime of the day.. they have changed it now that you can only use the spa area pool etc up to 9am in the morning and after 5pm ... if you wish to use it in-between these times its 25 pounds each.. how ridiculous. Won't be staying again unless this changes. Such a shame

Great staff and service. Food was great for all meals.

We know it was the storm but the pool out of order our whole stay put a downer on it slightly. Maybe having a back up....of course this may not be possible.

Beautiful view excellent restaurant! Staff were friendly and very helpful 🙂

Not enough pool time for children! Not enough pool and sauna time for adults! Guest's shouldn't need to pay extra to use pool and sauna it should be inclusive in the booking! Especially when you're paying in excess of £500 for 2 nights.

Beautiful hotel on the waters edge, stunning views from waters edge rooms. Room 271 was roomy and bathroom was enormous with a generous bath! Restaurant staff were friendly and professional, service was exceptional. Nespresso machine in this room, 3 complimentary pods per day, though reception did provide more decaf when requested (thank you). There is a fridge in the room so take milk if you need to. Well placed for exploring Conwy and Llandudno but I would consider a car a must as fairly cut off. Super king bed and very comfortable too. Spa is immaculately clean with pool, sauna, infa red, steam, himalayan salt rooms, foot spas etc. Lovely! Would definately visit again.

Advertised toiletries in the room but all stuck to the shower wall so take your own bath foam if you want a bath. Understand the Spa needs to make money but think the times allowed to paying guests are very restrictive...(check the website) £25pp to use otherwise is steep....perhaps £10 pp would be acceptable. Look for free robes in very top of wardrobe....I thought the packet was a spare blanket and didnt find until I was leaving (perhaps check-in staff could inform guests).

Our stay was absolutely incredible. By far the best we have stayed at… ever! From the moment we arrived to check-in, we were warmly welcomed. From that point on we didn’t meet a single member of staff who wasn’t an absolute delight - from the reception desk, to the spa desk, to the restaurant and bar too - it is truly the staff who made this stay so lovely for us. The staff at breakfast get a special shoutout for me.. delightful! But honestly, every single member of staff we met were such a delight. The facilities were also marvellous and we were actually quite shocked by how nice it was. I especially loved that you could make use of the sauna, infra red room, and salt wall etc. as I only expected hotel guests to have access to the pool for free. Really amazing. The area was really pretty too. Splendid views.

We honestly cannot fault anything at all.

Hotel is in a beautiful setting, a stunning backdrop of the marina and castle. The hotel has undergone refurbishment and it was worth it. The restaurant, lobby and spa are beautiful. The spa has had a dramatic refurbishment; it is gorgeous and worth the day visit. Rooms are comfortable, clean and have every amenity needed.

It’s a high quality hotel and spa, great facilities yet at breakfast you can’t have a latte. It’s a minor thing however, to say you can only have tea or filter coffee when they have the facilities for proper cappuccinos and lattes is petty to save on time. They have set the breakfast up well for maximum speed, efficiency and staffing management. You prepare your own toast, pastries and cold drinks, and they can cook pancakes, an English breakfast or scrambled eggs. However the English breakfast came out within 4 minutes of being ordered and everything felt slightly lukewarm, as if it’s been prepared in advance and just kept on a heat plate. Buffet style except someone played it in the kitchen for you. Not really in keeping with the hotel’s standard in other areas.

My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable. The facilities were impeccably maintained, and the staff were exceptional in every way. As someone who frequently stays at hotels in the UK on weekends, I can confidently say that your property has outstanding personnel. They were not only attentive but also genuinely committed to providing the best experience possible.

The food exceeded my expectations, showcasing a delightful range of flavors. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be to expand the breakfast offerings. Items like pre-made yogurt pots with granola and compote, chia seed puddings, and healthier choices on the menu—such as smashed avocado on toast and a variety of omelettes—would elevate the breakfast experience beyond the current selection of porridge.

We have been coming to the Quay for at least 7 years. We got engaged in the castle whilst staying here 3 years ago and we come at least once or twice a year. It's always been lovely, but this year, it's even better. The standard of service is first class. The spa renovation is really good !! We dined at the restaurant both nights and the food was exemplary but the service team even more so. So personable and professional. We had our dog with us and the team where so good with him and gave us the perfect most convenient room.

Nothing really. The only thing would be a better hairdryer in the rooms but not a big deal.

Hotel is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in one of the suites, which was very cold when we arrived but warmed up once we turned the heating on. Very comfortable bed, nice to have a coffee machine as well as a kettle. They went to the trouble of leaving a birthday card for my partner's birthday, which was lovely. Spa facilities are lovely but quite small. Food and service in the bar and restaurant were great

The suite was lovely but just needed some warm touches like cushions on the sofas. Our bathroom didn't really get warm and there were some cracked tiles and damage to the bottom of the door. Not enough lockers in the changing rooms at the spa.
