Lovely spacious room with a street view. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. The bar area is lovely with huge sofas and comfy chairs to relax in Amazing location, right in the centre

Disappointed with breakfast. For £12.50 you have to choose what you want the day before. It was a very small cooked breakfast with sausage being no more than chipolata size. Just one of each thing. No hot buffet or option for more. There was a selection of cereals and toast if that's you're thing.

The hotel appears to have been refurbished/decorated since our last visit and it’s very good, especially the change to the reception area. Prices considering it was a bank holiday weekend were reasonable. We are in on several nights and the food was very good and were good portions. Breakfast taken once was great with a choice of how eggs were cooked. It’s our third stay and we’d book again. Negatives, a bit of excessive noise from some guests, and that’s all.

Not much really. Parking is tight but we knew that, prices for drinks are close to London figures but again expected in what is a very popular location.

The hotel is in a superb location, right near the train station and main parade of shops and restaurants in Bets-y-coed. The hotel is really good, has a nice restaurant and bar area downstairs, reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and well stocked with coffee and tea facilities. The bed was super comfy, we had great nights sleep during our stay.

Our room was at the beginning of a corridor, and it didn’t seem like the sound proofing was very good as every time someone went into their room via this corridor it was noticeable. There was some noise from the music that is played in the area out the front of the hotel. This was turned of at 10:30pm so not a massive issue in the grand scheme of thing, but something to be mindful of if you like an early bedtime! All of the above is very minor so don’t let it detract you from booking this hotel!

The hotel was amazing. Great location to go to different places but a beautiful village to explore. If you like walks/hiking, you will find many literally on your doorstep, including the beautiful Swallow Falls and the Fairy Glen. The hotel itself is of a very high standard, and we enjoyed an afternoon tea on our first evening there, which had a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. The staff were always happy to help and couldn't do more for you. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were decorated beautifully. The food was exceptional, and they had plenty of drink options. You could choose to dine in the bar area or book the restaurant, which did have a slightly different menu. The hotel is also dog friendly.

The hotel didn't have a lift, which was a struggle for some people with mobility issues. However, I was told there isn't enough room to have one put in. And the car park was a little small however there were loads of places to park within the village at just a short distance away.

The hotel was beautiful. Loved the log fires in the dining rooms as this felt very cosy and welcoming. The location was amazing. The food was very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband didn't like the fact that it was a double bed booked , but it was actually two single beds pushed together. Sometimes, you don't notice this if there's a topper mattress on covering both beds. That was his only criticism. But it didn't spoil our stay, and he didn't have trouble sleeping, lol!

The location is brilliant - walking distance from several restaurants/cafés and opposite a cute park. Whilst the car park was full, there was free street parking a minute walk away. The bar and restaurant downstairs are really nice, stylish and well-stocked. Breakfast was good too. we brought our dog and he was given a box of treats, a tennis ball and dog poop bags. I would happily stay here again and it's so handy to find a hotel that accepts dogs, especially in Snowdonia!

The room itself didn't feel that clean and the showers were hot but not super hot, which would have been nice.

We booked this hotel very last minute and were very happy with the location. We're never sure about taking our dog to a hotel (she's incredibly well behaved btw, just our choice whether to or not) but everyone was so welcoming and it wasn't a problem at all. The room was large and comfortable and although at the front of the hotel was not noisy from the traffic as we thought it might be. We ate in the bar and it was very nice food.

Other peoples dogs!! Who would take their 'barky' dog to a hotel? There was a dog that barked a lot in it's room that seemed to set all other dogs off - didn't make for the most restful night. Absolutely not the hotel's fault!!

I liked the restaurant very smart as was the bar. The room, number 8 was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and friendly. Lovely stay, we really enjoyed it.

The water wasn’t hot enough in the evening, not enough toilet paper in the room and 2 teabags for 2 people for an overnight stay is not enough. We booked the valentines dinner and our very quiet well behaved dog was allowed in the restaurant, we also booked the breakfast but we had to sit in the cold area in front of the bar and the lady with the shoulder length brown hair rather snootily said we couldn’t go in the restaurant! It maybe a good idea to put the heating on in that area if people have to eat there! We thought the breakfast was expensive for what you got with very small portions, 1 sausage for an adult man is not adequate. Also I think it should be made clear on the website that there is a £15 charge for your dog! Also proper drinking glasses needed in rooms!

We liked everything!! Hotel located right in the centre of Betws-y-coed. Really nice mix of modern and traditional decor throughout. Staff were exceptional and very welcoming. We dined at the hotel restaurant and was really impressed by the quality of the food and service. We booked a family room for my wife, teenage daughter and myself. Great facilities, clean and very comfortable beds. It was a last minute booking but we enjoyed every second of our stay.

The room was on the 2nd floor with view of back carpark it had a comfy double bed with tv coffee/tea making facilities a large tv on the wall and wardrobe with plenty of hangers and drawer space . The room was lovely the decor was gorgeous and clean although the bathroom was a little tired . This hotel is an amazing dog friendly hotel the staff are so lovely and on arrival we got a dog goody bag with treats and a ball! The location of this hotel was perfect going mid week was definitely a bonus as a lot quieter. we had a breakfast in the bar area where dogs are allowed , the bar area is stunning and the restaurant from what we could see was lovely the breakfast was well worth the £14 extra fee, cereals ,overnight oats pots toast and a lovely big cooked breakfast tea and coffee and juices

Would of liked a room with a better view and the extra pillows we did ask to go back and collect them but were told they would bring them other than that we had a wonderful Stay
